Abstract

Tahfidzul Qura'an Agro Islamic Boarding School is an area that provides formal Islamic education (Madrasah Aliyah) and non-formal education of tahfidz Al-Qu'an and agriculture. The design location is in Kubu Raya Regency. Islamic Boarding School Tahfidzul Qura'an Agro is not only a place to learn religious knowledge but can also be a place to learn agriculture because the agricultural sector is the leading sector in Kubu Raya Regency. This design is also motivated by the number of memorizers of the Qur'an which is small compared to the Muslim population in Indonesia.  The purpose of this design is to be able to design a Tahfidzul Qur'an Islamic boarding school facility to meet the needs in the field of religious education and other skills in the world of work. As a Thafidzul Qur'an boarding school, the students are required to memorize the Qur'an because the main function of this pesantren is to increase the number of memorizing the Qur'an. Skills in agriculture are also taught to equip students to face the world of work. The stages in the planning and design of the Tahfidzul Qura'an Agro Islamic Boarding School start from the idea stage, data collection, analysis, synthesis, pre-design, and design development. The pesantren area of the Tahfidzul Qura'an Agro Islamic Boarding School consists of several masses, namely: mosque buildings, memorization facilities, schools, student dormitories, management housing, and agricultural facilities. The mosque building is a focal point in the area. The mosque is in the middle to separate the zoana of male and female students. The location of the mosque is also in the middle so that it is easily accessible by students and residents around the pesantren area. memorizing facilities and schools are on the right and left of the mosque. The dormitory and residence manager are at the back to get a quieter atmosphere.

Abstract

Singkawang City has the potential to increase the service sector in the creative industry in the film sector which is influenced by the potential of Singkawang City tourist destinations. The workers in the creative industry sector, not only come from within the city but also from outside the city, both for work and family trips while working. To meet the needs of facilities and workspace, Coworking Space was chosen. The design method starts with site selection based on the RTRW in trade and service areas, easy access and adequate infrastructure. At the analysis stage, referring to the actors, types of activities and facilities for the creative film industry, analysis of location, circulation, orientation, vegetation, and zoning. The area is divided into four areas, namely the parking area, reception area, green open space (RTH) area and work area. The design concept is a parking area that is divided into car parking and motorbike parking. The reception area is a receptionist area and the hall is a barrier from the public area in the parking lot. The green open space area is a large park to be used as a place for film production, promotions, and the like, as well as reducing noise entering the work area. The work area as a coworking space is designed with a hierarchy on each floor. The ground floor is semi-public, the first and second floors are semi-private, the third floor is private, and the rooftop is semi-public.

Abstract

The Rasau Jaya Port area is a port area located in Kubu Raya Regency which serves shipping routes to the hinterland of West Kalimantan. The journey taken is a cross route within Kubu Raya Regency and a cross route between districts, namely North Kayong Regency. However, judging from the area and the port service office, this is still not feasible for an inter-district port area. Therefore, the Rasau Jaya Port area requires an area arrangement according to existing regulatory standards. The design methodology is adopted in stages, namely ideas, data collection, analysis, synthesis and design. With an area design concept that refers to the functions and standards of ferry port requirements. This can make the port a more organized area like a port in general.

Abstract

Science is a very important science for children to understand, because children are a golden age phase where at their age their brains grow and develop rapidly. The need to learn science from an early age is to avoid their fear in adulthood when it comes to studying science. Many children or teenagers avoid science lessons because for them it is a difficult lesson to understand. Therefore, it is necessary to learn science from an early age to avoid the stereotype that says science is difficult and scary. The Children Science Center was built to help children learn science. The Children Science Center was also built to be a means of learning science outside of school, because many schools in Indonesia have inadequate facilities for studying science. The method used in the Children Science Center is the design method of J.C Jones. Jones started his design from an idea that was equipped with information to strengthen the idea. All information is analyzed, then synthesized to produce certain concepts according to the initial idea and then evaluated. The evaluation stage will be the basis for optimizing the design. This Science Center has a commercial area and is a public space that can provide income and educational recreation for children.

Abstract

Ketapang is a district-level area that is constantly developing and trying to improve the welfare of the community. One of these efforts is the development process in various sectors. In line with the growth and development of the development process in these various sectors, the development that is felt to need attention at this time in Ketapang Regency is development in the field of sports. The importance of developing the sports sector in society. Ketapang Regency is based on the level of public awareness of the importance of exercise which is increasing day by day, in line with the recommendations of health experts. This final project aims to design sports facilities that are not only functional but also multifunctional. The Ketapang Regency Sports Building design method is carried out in several stages, namely ideas, theory reviews, data collection, analysis, synthesis, pre-design, and design. The design analysis resulted in several functions of the sports building into three functions, namely primary functions (sports and competitions), secondary functions (administration and recreation), and tertiary functions (maintenance/service). The analysis of the area pattern is taken from the elements of the formation of the sports building area in general by adjusting the location of the site. The characteristics of the sports building follow the shape of the sports building by using a wide span structure with a spaceframe roof system.

Abstract

Health is the most important factor in people's lives, especially the health of mothers and children. The increasing number of births and deaths and the increasing number of residents in Sintang Regency as the 3rd largest Regency in West Kalimantan Province, thus requires a health facility that accommodates services for mothers and children. One type of service is the Mother and Child Hospital (RSIA). The design of this hospital is planned in Sintang District, Sintang Regency. This location was taken based on the issue of the importance of RSIA development, and 2019 Central Statistics Agency (BPS) data which shows that health facilities such as hospitals are not evenly distributed in Sintang Regency in Sintang District. The design method used includes: ideas, data collection, analysis, and the design phase, as well as the results of the design of the maternal and child hospital. This design consists of a linear building that follows the shape of the land. Zoning space is divided and adapts to narrow land forms. Orientation, placement and circulation are regulated based on existing regulations and analysis, so that there is a need for circulation paths as needed, and on the facade of the building it is planned to use several window openings that are used as natural lighting and ventilation in the room.

Abstract

Seminary is a place for Christian religious education to form and educate prospective Christian clergy. The seminary is equipped with various educational support facilities, because it is a special education that focuses on theological/religious education. Seminary facilities in the Pontianak City area are currently considered to be less than optimal, both in terms of quantity/quantity, and quality of facilities. The purpose of this design is to produce the design of educational facilities and religious tourism that is able to accommodate the needs of users and visitors in the form of facilities and infrastructure. The design object focuses on the Bukit Doa Psalm 21 area, Anjongan, Mempawah. The method used in this design is observation, comparison, and analysis. The author will conduct field observations at seminaries and retreat houses in Pontianak, as well as interviews with related parties. The design focus is on identifying seminary facilities and the need for infrastructure. The theme that will be focused on this design is contextual architecture which focuses on linking new buildings with the environment. References to contextual architecture and similar buildings are taken from various sources. The collected case studies will later become a design guide, ideas and solutions to design problems. The seminary design concept is in the form of a spatial program schematic and site analysis which results in the identification of the required facilities and a schematic design of the seminary area and building. The final result of the design of the West Kalimantan Psalm 21 High Seminary is the  the seminary area and building that has complete infrastructure that is able to accommodate educational activities and religious tourism, but also has a connection with the surrounding environment.

Abstract

The market is a place where the place is intended as a place to meet sellers and buyers to carry out buying and selling activities of various consumer goods by conducting a bargaining process. The people's market is important for the economy, social and welfare of the people. The people's market besides having a major role in economic activity, also has other roles such as in a social role. Beduai sub-district is located in Sanggau district, West Kalimantan, this certainly does not escape social and economic activities. So far, traders are still having trouble finding a place to sell their wares because there are no people's market facilities in this sub-district. Therefore, it is necessary to build people's market facilities to meet the needs of the community, besides that the existence of the people's market also provides a place for traders, especially when the harvest season arrives. The design of the people's market in Beduai sub-district is an idea in solving community problems in meeting their daily needs, as well as economic activities that still depend on other sub-districts. Various problems that we often encounter in people's markets such as slums, dirty, muddy, smelly, and stuffy. The resolution of these problems is solved by the design method using five stages which include; initiation, preparation, proposal submission, evaluation and action.
