Abstract

This study was conducted in class VI SDN Pasirhalang 2, Sukabumi Regency with the aim of knowing the differences between pop-up book and flip book media on elementary school students' reading comprehension skills. This study is an experimental research with a one-shot case study design. In this design, the researcher only conducted one treatment which was estimated to have an effect. This design was used to examine the process and achievement of student learning outcomes during the learning given to class A using pop-up book media while class B used flip book media. In this study, there were two groups, namely randomly selected. This research design used one class A and one class B. After being given media to one of the sample groups (experiment), it was continued with the provision of the two sample groups (control) used. The data obtained were student learning outcome data collected from two classes, namely 30 class VI SDN Pasirhalang 2 (class B) and 30 class IV SDN Pasirhalang 2 (class A) with a total of 60 students. The average value in the experimental class is 66.5 with a minimum value of 40 and a maximum value of 90. While the average value in the control class is 61.59 with a minimum value of 40 and a maximum value of 87.5. Based on the results of data processing using the hypothesis test (F one way anova test) obtained a significance value (Asymp sig (2-tailed) 0.03 <0.05, it can be stated that Ho is rejected and H₁ is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant difference when using pop up book and flip book media.

Abstract

This research is based on the background that learning Al - Furqan (Al-Qur'an) in Tadika age children faces challenges in the form of low understanding and interest of children. Conventional methods that rely on reading and memorization are often less effective in attracting children's attention and maintaining their focus. This requires educators to develop learning approaches that are more engaging and appropriate to the child's developmental stage. Game-based learning strategies emerge as a potential solution to this problem. The type of research used in this study uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive method. The purpose is to explore information about Al-Furqan learning strategies at Tadika Didik Bistari Gemilang, Gerik Malaysia. The research subjects consisted of 4 educators, including 3 teachers and 1 institution owner. While the object of this research is Al-Furqan learning strategy in Tadika Didik Bistari Gemilang Gerik, Malaysia. As for collecting field data, researchers used observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study show that the strategies used in the whole series of teaching and learning activities in Al-Furqan consist of 2 strategies, namely interactive learning strategies and learning strategies while playing such as arranging hijaiyah letter cards to make it easier for children to remember and spell hijaiyah letters. In the teaching process, teachers carry out tasks related to the use of strategies, using techniques that consist of several aspects including learning strategy planning, application/implementation of learning strategies, and evaluation/reflection of learning strategies.

Abstract

The article analyzes the role of scoring techniques in improving the quality of Indonesian language learning evaluation. This research uses the library research method. This research aims to describe scoring techniques in language learning. Based on the literature review, scoring techniques play an important role in improving the quality of Indonesian language learning evaluations through the application of objective, valid, and reliable assessment concepts. The conception of scoring techniques emphasizes the importance of clear criteria and standardized assessment methods to measure various aspects of language skills, such as reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Literature studies show that good scoring techniques, such as the use of rubrics and scoring guides, not only ensure accurate assessment results but also support teachers in providing constructive feedback to students. Additionally, the contribution of scoring techniques is evident in their ability to enhance evaluation transparency, assist teachers in designing more targeted teaching strategies, and motivate students to achieve better learning outcomes. Thus, scoring techniques become a strategic element in creating meaningful and high-quality evaluations of Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the efficiency and relevance of optimizing the effectiveness of digital-based assessment tools for evaluating Balinese language learning at SMP Negeri 11 Denpasar. This issue arises from the fact that teachers at SMP Negeri 11 Denpasar have not yet utilized digital-based assessment tools optimally. This is reflected in the Balinese language learning evaluation activities, where teachers tend to rely on conventional assessment tools or are limited to using a single digital tool, such as Google Forms, which affects students' learning outcomes. The implementation of this study is based on the use of a method as an operational foundation. Accordingly, the study addresses (1) research design, (2) types of research data, (3) data collection methods, and (4) data analysis methods. The results indicate that efficiency includes ease of implementation in evaluation processes. Meanwhile, relevance involves the capability of digital assessment tools to provide evaluations aligned with the needs of the learning process.

Abstract

The main problem of education today is that many students only understand the lessons of Aqidah Akhlak, but their application in everyday life is still lacking. The subjects of Aqidah Akhlak in schools are only viewed through cognitive aspects (knowledge) without looking at students in the real world so that learning Aqidah Akhlak is only limited to memorizing and taking notes. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning on student learning outcomes, so that it can provide a clear picture of the effectiveness of the learning. This study uses quantitative methods and quantitative approaches. The study was conducted at MTs Muhammadiyah Grogol with a sample of 31 students. Data collection was carried out using observation, documentation, and questionnaire methods. Data analysis used simple regression data analysis techniques by conducting normality tests and linearity tests, then a t-test was carried out to test the significance of the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results showed that α = 0.05 and df = 29, the t-table value of the t distribution was 2.045. As the output of SPSS data processing t-count = 3.697 and t-table = 2.045. Because t-count (3.697) > t-table (2.045), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Sig. value. (p-value) in the SPSS output table is <0.001, which is much smaller than α = 0.05. Because p-value <α (0.001 <0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is an influence of the application of Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) learning on the learning outcomes of the subject of aqidah akhlak class VII at MTs Muhammadiyah Grogol.

Abstract

Prospective parents have very minimal knowledge about the importance of nutrition for children. This research aims to explore the importance of education and knowledge of prospective parents in preventing stunting in children. This research approach is qualitative with a case study research design. Data collection was obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory exploration and group discussions. The research results show that prospective parents who have a good understanding of nutrition and health tend to be better able to provide appropriate nutritional intake for their children. A higher educational background also contributes to awareness and responsiveness to children's nutritional needs. However, there are significant obstacles such as limited access to information, low levels of formal education, and the influence of local culture that does not support the practice of providing nutritious food. This research recommends improving community-based health education programs for expectant parents, including providing materials that are easier to understand and relevant to the local context.
