Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore the cultivation of Islamic religious education values ​​in an effort to prevent bullying behavior at El Syihab Islamic Middle School, Bandar Lampung. This research uses a qualitative approach. The place of research carried out by researchers was at El Syihab Islamic Middle School in Bandar Lampung using observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques. Efforts by PAI Teachers at El Syihab Islamic Middle School, Bandar Lampung, to prevent bullying behavior. Instilling the values ​​of Islamic religious education for children must start from an early age by all parties and it is not enough to just rely on teaching at school or, but must involve the participation and encouragement of all parties who refer to existing principles, especially through guidance to always teach and directing, providing habituation and example.

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' lack of interest in learning PAI. Teachers still rarely apply ice breaking in their learning process. This research aims to find out whether there is an influence of ice breaking on students' interest in learning in PAI subjects at SMP N 3 Cukuhbalak Tanggamus. This research was conducted at SMP N 3 Cukuhbalak Tanggamus Regency. This research is quantitative research using experimental methods and Quasi-experiment design. The research population was all students at SMP N 3 Cukuhbalak Tanggamus. The sample for this research was Class VII students, consisting of Class VII A for the Experiment group and Class VIIB, for the Control group. The data collection technique in this research is a questionnaire as the main instrument, while the data analysis technique uses the Wilcoxon test and the Mann Whitney test. The research results showed that: Based on the data from the Wilcoxon Test, the Asym Sig (2-Tailed) data was 0.000 < 0.05 or Ha was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of ice breaking on students' interest in learning in PAI subjects at SMP N 3 Cukuhbalak Tanggamus. Meanwhile, the results of the Mann Whitney test obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so there was a significant difference in the learning interest scores of class VII students at SMPN 3 Cukuhbalak between the group that implemented ice breaking and the group that did not apply ice breaking.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1. To find out the picture self efficacy school culture and teacher job satisfaction. 2. To know the influence self efficacy and school culture on teacher job satisfaction both simultaneously and partially. This research uses a library research design and field research. The population in this study was all 33 teachers. The types of data used are qualitative data and quantitative data. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection was carried out by interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The research instrument test used is the validity and reliability test. Data analysis techniques consist of normality tests, qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research can be concluded as follows: Self efficacy teachers are good, school culture is still strong enough, and teacher job satisfaction is high. There is a strong and positive relationship between self efficacy with school culture, teacher job satisfaction. The high and low level of teacher job satisfaction can be explained by the contribution of self efficacy  And  school culture. To optimize  self efficacy teachers are optimized by trying to make the work environment comfortable. To increase teacher job satisfaction with a review by the foundation with requests from school principals regarding salaries and other compensation received by teachers by comparing them with government regulations regarding UMR and also salaries in other schools that are parallel to the schools being managed

Abstract

Education plays a major role in improving the quality of human resources (Human Receources). One of the latest innovations in education in Indonesia is the Independent Curriculum launched in 2022, which emphasizes active student participation in learning to increase creativity and innovation. In its implementation, teachers play a crucial role as the main implementers of the curriculum. This article discusses the role of teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum, starting from learning planning, adapting teaching methods, to evaluation.  This study uses a descriptive qualitative method through a literature review, namely from written sources, both printed and electronic.  The results show that the success of implementing the curriculum is highly dependent on the ability of teachers to overcome existing challenges, such as limited facilities, professional readiness, and adjustments to teaching methods. With the right strategy, the role of teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum can support the progress of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the students’ perception in using TikTok for their improvement of pronunciation in learning English. This research employed quantitative methods, utilizing questionnaires to gather data on students' perceptions of using TikTok for pronunciation learning. The investigation adopts a descriptive approach, collecting survey responses to examine how students view this application in their pronunciation studies. This research is anticipated to provide valuable insights for various stakeholders, especially educators, who will gain a deeper understanding of the benefits of incorporating TikTok into English as a Foreign Language (EFL) or English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction. This knowledge can be applied to improve the effectiveness of English pronunciation teaching. The platform's ability to host free and innovative content, coupled with its global reach, is expected to significantly influence the development of individualized digital learning paths in the future. These advancements will be driven by shared national and international goals and standards. The research findings indicate that incorporating TikTok videos into a blended learning approach can enhance students' pronunciation skills. Appropriate TikTok content has the potential to stimulate cognitive processes through collaborative and communicative activities, while also fostering innovative educational practices. The incorporation of technology-based tools in English as a second language instruction has led to notable advancements, particularly in improving learners' pronunciation. Students' positive perceptions of the application as enjoyable, user-friendly, engaging, and impactful appear to contribute to their pronunciation progress, although no concrete evidence was found regarding the rate of improvement.

Abstract

Educational supervision is a crucial component in efforts to improve the quality of education. This study aims to analyze the implementation of educational supervision at SMP Negeri 2 Banyuke Hulu, focusing on supervision practices, teacher perceptions, challenges, effectiveness, and development strategies. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research involved in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The results show that despite facing challenges in terms of limited resources, the school has successfully implemented a collaborative supervision model that is effective in improving teacher competence and the quality of learning. Technology integration and data-driven approaches have become key strategies in optimizing the supervision process. Theoretical and practical implications of these findings are discussed, along with recommendations for developing a more adaptive and contextual supervision system. This research contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of educational supervision in the context of junior high schools with limited resources

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Arba’in method in improving the reading and comprehension skills of students at Ma’had Tahfizh Al-Izzah Zam-Zam Surakarta regarding kitab kuning. The method employed is a qualitative approach using observations, interviews, and document analysis to gather data from students and teachers. The findings indicate that the Arba’in method is effective in simplifying students’ understanding of Arabic grammar rules, particularly in the field of nahwu. Through structured memorization and practical exercises, students can enhance their reading speed and comprehension of classical texts. Furthermore, the application of this method also boosts students' confidence in analyzing and discussing kitab kuning. This study concludes that the Arba’in method not only enhances students' technical abilities but is also relevant in the context of contemporary Islamic education. It is hoped that the findings of this research can serve as a reference for other educational institutions in implementing effective teaching methods to improve Arabic language proficiency and understanding of Islamic literature.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes through group discussion methods and observation sheets on Indonesian human rights enforcement material in the Civics learning process. The main basis for this research is that the learning difficulties experienced by students result in a decrease in enthusiasm for learning, apart from being caused by methodological inaccuracies, it is also rooted in the use of learning methods that tend to be monotonous and lack of evaluation in the civics education (PKn) learning process with human rights material. Action Research Kelas (Classroom Action Reseach) and a qualitative descriptive approach was applied in this research in an effort to resolve the problems or difficulties faced by students. This research was carried out at the Smart Mandiri Medan Private Vocational School, Jalan Cemara Abadi, Sampali Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang. Based on students' Civics learning results which have increased starting from the pretest test, learning results test in cycle I, learning results test in cycle II, the test items tested have experienced learning completeness. In other words, because the overall results of students' Civics learning and the questions tested on students have been completed, the learning process using the discussion learning method is stopped until cycle II. From the data obtained, up to the learning outcomes in cycle II, it can be concluded that there has been an increase in Civics learning outcomes through the group discussion method on Human Rights material in class

Abstract

The research objectives of this study are 1) To find out how high the learning concentration value is in the Indonesian Language subject of class IV of Al Hadi Integrated Islamic Elementary School in the 2024/2025 academic year, 2) To find out how high the use of ice breaking techniques can be implemented in class IV of Al Hadi Integrated Islamic Elementary School in the 2024/2025 academic year, 3) To find out how much influence the ice breaking technique has on the learning concentration of the Indonesian Language subject of class IV of Al Hadi Elementary School in the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a Descriptive Correlational Analysis approach. This withdrawal method uses a random sampling technique with a total of 44 students as respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The concentration value of learning Indonesian is in the "sufficient" category with a percentage of 45% 2) The use of the Ice Breaking technique is in the "sufficient" category with a percentage of 70% 3) Based on the t calculation of -2.639 with a p-value (Sig.) of 0.012. Because the p value <0.05, these results indicate that the Ice Breaking variable has a significant effect on Learning Concentration at a significance level of 5%. This means that changes in Ice Breaking activities can statistically affect students' learning concentration levels.
