This study aims to complete the safety management system document and change the layout of the sheet metal workshop at PT. Merpati Maintenance Facility Surabaya. The authors found a decrease in the level of safety and efficiency based on the results of field observations. Based on the existing conditions, the author will process the data using qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches or HIRAM (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Mitigation) and gap analysis to analyze and process existing data using the HIRAM method which is then followed up by making a new layout. The conclusion of this study is to find the risk of hazards that have a high value so that controls must be carried out to reduce the risk of the hazard to an acceptable level of risk and create a new layout of the sheet metal workshop. Suggestions from the results of this paper are that PT. Merpati Maintenance Facility carries out mitigation measures from the results of this research and makes minimum layout changes as designed by the authors.

This research has purpose to knowing the problem will be unavailability VFR corridor for VFR flight in ATC service at Perum LPPNPI branch Aceh. Methode in this research using research and development level one with qualitative approaching and descriptive exposure. Collecting data using literature, documentation and interview. While, methode of data processing are using data reduction, presentation of data, conclusion and verification. Stand with data has collected, VFR flight has no route and it makes the ATC difficult to know the true position of the aircraft due to the route always different in every aircraft and as flow as pilot knowing. Therefore, VFR route draft as a solution.

Supadio International Airport is an airport that serves various types of aircraft (Boeing, Airbus, ATR, Hawk, CN259), and does not have a rapid exit taxiway, in its guidance, Perum LPPNPI Pontianak Branch Office enforces rules for Boeing and Airbus-type arrival traffic for backtrack at the end of the runway, but this rule does not apply to aircraft with other types such as ATR and Cessna. This of course creates a time difference to clear the runway for arrival traffic of the Airbus and Boeing types. This study aims to obtain a safe distance between arrival traffic and departure traffic at the Perum LPPNPI Pontianak Branch Office by applying the calculation of The Brazilian Air Navigation Management Center (CGNA) Runway Capacity Calculation by adjusting the current airport conditions. From the research results, it is found that the value of the safe distance between arrival traffic and departure traffic by considering the aircraft classification can produce a more optimal safe distance.

The objective of the research is to analyze how much the influence between Implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) towards Service Quality. The research conducted at Perum LPPNPI Gorontalo and Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug. Type of research is quantitative research by means of surveys with a sample of 20 respondents and an error level of 5% to ATC personnel at Perum LPPNPI Gorontalo. The data collection technique used is the Pearson Product Moment correlation followed by regression and t test. This study concludes that there is a positive relationship between the Implementation of the Safety Management System towards Service Quality with a coefficient 0.723 and a coefficient of determination 52.3%, which means that the effect of the Application of the Safety Management System on Service Quality is 52.3% and the rest is determined by other factors outside of this research. With these results, it’s hoped that it can be a source of improving and evaluating the relationship between the Implementation of the Safety Management System towards Service Quality at Perum LPPNPI Gorontalo.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Implementasi Safety Management System (SMS) terhadap Pelayanan Navigasi Penerbangan di Perum Lembaga Penyelenggara Pelayanan Navigasi Penerbangan Indonesia (LPPNPI) Cabang Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kuantitatif di mana metode pengumpulan datanya menggunakan angket/kuesioner, analisis SMS Gap Analysis Checklist dan studi dokumentasi sedangkan pengolahan data dilakukan dengan SPSS dengan sampel 22 responden serta taraf kesalahan 5% yang ditujukan kepada personel ATC di Perum LPPNPI Cabang Banjarmasin. SMS Gap Analysis Checklist diisi oleh Manajer Keselamatan, Keamanan dan Standarisasi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dan pengaruh antara Implementasi SMS terhadap Pelayanan Navigasi Penerbangan dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,786 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 62%. SMS Gap Analysis Checklist, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi SMS di Perum LPPNPI Cabang Banjarmasin berada di tahap I yaitu perencanaan implementasi SMS. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menjadi sumber dalam mengevaluasi Implementasi SMS serta meningkatkan Pelayanan Navigasi Penerbangan di Perum LPPNPI Cabang Banjarmasin.

Terminal 2 Bandara Internasional Soekarno Hatta memiliki 97 Air Handling Unit (AHU) yang digunakan untuk mengkondisikan suhu ruangan. Ketika terjadi pemutusan atau gangguan pada aliran listrik, semua AHU tersebut harus dihidupkan dengan cara mendatangi unit tersebut. Rancangan otomatis start dan monitoring menggunakan PLC didukung oleh program visual basic diharapkan dapat membantu efektifitas operasional AHU. Rancangan ini memiliki koneksi antar PLC dan PC menggunakan wifi, dimana fungsi monitoring ketika pengoperasian unit AHU akan ditampilkan pada monitor dan fungsi kontrol pengoperasian unit AHU dapat dilakukan dari jarak jauh, serta dilengkapi dengan sistem otomatis start yaitu, ketika suplai listrik terputus dan tersambung kembali, AHU dapat langsung beroperasi tanpa mengaktifkannya secara manual.

This study aims to design VFR Corridor connecting Cakrabhuwana Airport in Cirebon with Tunggul Wulung Cilacap Airport and Cijulang Nusawairu Airport.The research method used is level one research and development with a qualitative approach and descriptive exposure. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, literature studies, and documentation studies. Meanwhile, data processing techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Based on the data collected, it is known that the flights from Cirebon to Cilacap and Nusawiru or vice versa do not have a clear VFR Corridor to connect the three airports, while the number of traffic overflying that makes Cross Country flights to Tunggul Wulung Cilacap and Cijulang Nusawiru airports is quite large.

Pelaporan hazard adalah hal yang sangat penting dalam sistem manajamen keselamatan penerbangan. Hazard yang teridentifikasi melalui laporan dapat digunakan untuk mengelola risiko keselamatan. Dengan kemajuan teknologi, hazard dapat lebih cepat dilaporkan secara daring sehingga dapat segera dilakukan mitigasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pelaporan hazard dan manajemen risiko keselamatan berbasis web untuk budaya pelaporan pada bandar udara dan mengelola risiko keselamatan dengan cara yang lebih efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian berbasis desain dengan empat tahap yaitu analisis masalah, pengembangan solusi, pengujian dan perbaikan produk, dan refleksi. Hasil pengujian penerimaan pengguna menunjukkan bahwa desain tersebut efektif dan bermanfaat untuk melaporkan hazard dan mengelola risiko keselamatan.

Rute penerbangan dari dan ke Jakarta – Yogyakarta menggunakan ATS route yang sama yaitu W17 dan W17S. Untuk menyikapi hal tersebut para air traffic controller di bandar udara Adi Sutjipto Yogyakarta melakukan pemecahan masalah dengan memberikan jalur alternatif untuk rute Yogyakarta – Jakarta melalui direct route JOG – CA.. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan perbandingan efisiensi atas penggunaan direct route JOG – CA dibandingkan jika menggunakan ATS route JOG - W – 17 – W17 S. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian komparasi, yaitu jenis penelitian dengan 2 variabel atau lebih yang bertujuan untuk membedakan atau membandingkan hasil penelitian antara dua kelompok penelitian. Dari survey yang dilakukan diketahui bahwa ada 83 % pesawat dari Yogyakarta tujuan Jakarta yang melalui direct route JOG - CA. Sedangkan dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa waktu tempuh melalui direct route JOG – CA dibandingkan dengan ATS route W 17 – W17 S rata – rata bisa menghemat 4,38 menit atau 19,5 % dan bisa menghemat bahan bakar paling sedikit 856.252 kg dan paling banyak 1.546.978 kg dalam setahun atau sebesar 5,33 % sampai dengan 16,35 %.Rute penerbangan dari dan ke Jakarta – Yogyakarta menggunakan ATS route yang sama yaitu W17 dan W17S. The practice of flying is an activity that has a high potential risk of causing negative impacts, such as loss of material, human life and reputation of an agency. When these risks cannot be avoided, an Emergency Response Plan (ERP) is needed as an organizational guide for dealing with emergency situations. This study, which was conducted in 2017, aims to analyze the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) guidelines, especially in the implementation of cadets' flying practices in the Aviation Department – Indonesian Civil Aviation Institute Curug. In this study, the authors used the gap analysis method to determine the gap between ideal conditions and existing conditions based on Doc. 9859 Safety Management Manual. The stages in this research are conducting a literature study, making gap analysis, identifying and assessing potential risks that may occur and conducting a review and validation of documents. This study concludes that the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) Manual is required to be refined and an emergency handling simulation is needed.
