Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of employee work discipline at the Human Resources Development and Personnel Agency (BKPSDM) of Karawang, particularly regarding the timeliness of clock-out attendance. Work discipline is an essential aspect that supports the effectiveness of public services; therefore, an evaluation of employee behavior and the attendance system used is necessary. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data triangulation through observations, interviews with five informants, and employee attendance records from 2024. The findings indicate that employee discipline is still not optimal, as reflected by the high frequency of late clock-out attendance each month. The dominant contributing factors include employee negligence and the absence of an automatic notification feature in the SIAP attendance application, which often causes employees to forget to clock out. The study concludes that such indiscipline negatively affects work effectiveness and highlights the need for improvements to the attendance system and increased employee awareness of discipline. The contribution of this research includes strategic recommendations such as developing an automatic reminder feature in the SIAP application, strengthening supervisory control by superiors, and providing continuous socialization to enhance discipline, performance, and employee professionalism.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the strengthening of the national economy after the COVID-19 pandemic through the role of Islamic philanthropic institutions in Indonesia, using a juridical approach to related legal regulations and fatwas. The method used is a qualitative literature review, analyzing various laws and regulations related to philanthropy and 34 relevant fatwas from the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI). The results indicate that Islamic philanthropic institutions have significant potential to support national economic recovery through the systematic and sharia-compliant management of zakat, infaq, and sedekah. However, challenges remain in harmonizing existing regulations and fatwas, as well as the need to strengthen the legal framework that supports the role of Islamic philanthropic institutions as effective socio-economic instruments. This study suggests the need for regulatory revisions and strengthened synergy between the government, religious institutions, and Islamic philanthropic institutions to optimize their contribution to national economic recovery.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product innovation, promotion, and price on purchasing interest in Kopi Kenangan in Medan City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 100 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, and F-tests. The results of the study indicate that product innovation has a positive and significant effect on purchasing interest, meaning that flavor variations, attractive packaging, and product updates can increase consumer interest. Promotion also has a positive and significant effect, where social media and digital campaigns have been shown to increase consumer awareness and purchasing interest. The price variable has a positive and significant effect on purchasing interest, indicating that price matching with product quality can increase consumer trust and decisions. Simultaneously, product innovation, promotion, and price have a significant effect on purchasing interest, with an Adjusted R² value of 0.815 or 81.5%, while the remaining 18.5% is influenced by other variables outside the study. The results of this study provide implications that the combination of attractive product innovation, effective promotional strategies, and appropriate pricing are important factors in increasing consumer purchasing interest in Kopi Kenangan products.

Abstract

The agribusiness sector faces increasingly competitive challenges, especially in local food processing businesses. This study aims to analyze the effect of marketing mix, product innovation, and brand on consumer satisfaction for the Ayudes brand bottled water (AMDK), as a representation of local agribusiness processed products in Ambon City. The research uses a quantitative method with a descriptive-correlational approach. The sample consisted of 52 consumers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The results show that: (1) marketing mix has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction (t = 2.190; sig. = 0.033); (2) product innovation has a positive and significant effect (t = 2.146; sig. = 0.037); (3) brand has a positive and significant effect (t = 3.090; sig. = 0.003); and (4) all three variables simultaneously have a significant effect (F = 41.522; sig. = 0.000). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 70.4% indicates that consumer satisfaction variation is largely explained by these three variables. These findings imply the importance of integrated marketing strategy, continuous innovation, and brand management in local agribusiness enterprises.
