Abstract

This study seeks to examine the influence of training and career development on employee performance, both individually and simultaneously. A quantitative approach with an associative design was applied, involving all 100 employees of PT Bank BJB Karawang Branch Office as respondents through a saturated sampling technique. Data were gathered using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 26. Prior to hypothesis testing, the instrument was evaluated through validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests to ensure the appropriateness of the regression model. The findings reveal that, partially, training has a positive effect in the moderate category on employee performance. In contrast, career development demonstrates a positive and statistically significant effect on performance. When tested simultaneously, training and career development significantly influence employee performance, contributing 76.5% to its variance. These results suggest that career development plays a more dominant role in enhancing employee performance, while training functions as a complementary supporting factor.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Domestic Investment (DI), and remittances on per capita income in Indonesia using a dynamic panel data approach. The study employs balanced panel data covering 38 provinces in Indonesia during the 2013–2023 period, with a total of 418 observations obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The estimation method used is the Difference GMM Arellano-Bond to address endogeneity issues and dynamic bias caused by the presence of a lagged dependent variable. The validity of the model is confirmed through the Sargan test (prob = 0.3082) and the AR(2) test (prob = 0.2840), both of which satisfy the required criteria. The estimation results indicate that FDI, DI, and remittances all have a positive and significant effect on per capita income at the 99% confidence level. Remittances are the variable with the greatest influence (β = 0.2314), followed by FDI (β = 0.1128) and DI (β = 0.0654). Furthermore, evidence of income convergence among provinces is found, as indicated by the negative coefficient of the lagged per capita income variable (-0.1076), with an adjustment speed of 10.76% per year toward long-run equilibrium. The discussion is substantiated by empirical evidence from multiple Sinta 2 and 3 accredited studies, confirming the transmission mechanisms of FDI through technology spillovers and employment creation, the role of domestic investment in driving local economic activity, and the contribution of remittances through consumption and productive investment channels. This study recommends strengthening the investment climate, equalizing the distribution of domestic investment beyond Java, and channeling remittances toward productive activities as strategies for achieving inclusive and sustainable improvements in welfare across all regions of Indonesia.

Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between green accounting and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. A total of 847 articles were identified from Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases (2019–2024), of which 45 articles met the selection criteria for final analysis. The findings indicate that the implementation of green accounting significantly contributes to SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 15 (Life on Land). Companies implementing green accounting demonstrate better sustainability performance (β = 0.42–0.72), a more positive reputation among investors, and greater contributions toward achieving the SDGs. This study integrates legitimacy theory, stakeholder theory, and institutional theory into a single conceptual framework to explain the underlying mechanisms of these relationships.

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as an increasingly autonomous technology has raised new legal challenges, particularly concerning its legal status within the legal system. This study aims to analyze the position of Artificial Intelligence in the Indonesian legal system, examine the possibility of AI as a legal subject, and explore the juridical implications of its classification as either a legal subject or a technological instrument. This research employs a normative juridical method with statutory and conceptual approaches. The results indicate that within the Indonesian legal system, Artificial Intelligence is not recognized as a legal subject but is instead positioned as a technological instrument or legal object. AI does not fulfill the essential elements required of a legal subject, such as free will, legal consciousness, and the capacity to bear rights and obligations independently. Consequently, legal liability arising from the use of AI remains attributed to human actors, including developers, users, and corporations. The notion of recognizing AI as a legal subject remains largely theoretical and is not yet applicable within the Indonesian legal context, particularly in criminal law, which requires the element of fault (mens rea). This study recommends the need for legal reform through comprehensive regulations governing the use of AI, as well as the development of adaptive liability models, such as risk-based liability, to ensure legal certainty, justice, and legal utility.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) in regional financial management in Sidoarjo Regency and its implications for the transformation of public accountability in the digital era. The research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive analysis technique consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of SPBE has encouraged changes in regional financial governance to become more systematic, well-documented, and data-based. SPBE contributes to improved process traceability, data consistency, monitoring efficiency, and the preparation of financial reports. However, the implementation has not been fully optimal due to several constraints, including limited human resource competence, suboptimal inter-system integration, a bureaucratic work culture still adapting to digital systems, and technical operational obstacles. This study concludes that SPBE plays an important role in promoting the transformation of public accountability, although the resulting accountability remains more dominant in internal administrative dimensions than in participatory public accountability. Therefore, stronger system integration, improved government personnel capacity, and broader public access to information are necessary.

Abstract

The specialty coffee industry in Bangli Regency, particularly Kintamani Arabica Coffee, is currently facing the challenges of the global market in the Fourth Wave Coffee era, which demands traceability and high efficiency. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital transformation and supplier collaboration in improving coffee supply chain capabilities in Bangli Regency, Bali Province. By integrating the Resource-Based View (RBV) and Dynamic Capabilities theories, this study positions technology and strategic partnerships as key drivers of regional competitiveness. The research method used is a quantitative explanatory survey technique with 100 business actors in the coffee supply chain in Bangli Regency. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) through SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results reveal that digital transformation fundamentally improves operational visibility and agility through real-time data synchronization. In addition, supplier collaboration based on trust and knowledge sharing within the Subak Abian system has been shown to strengthen supply stability and consistent raw material quality. Digitalization also plays a crucial role in strengthening the legitimacy of Geographical Indication (GI) certification through a digital traceability system. Overall, supply chain capabilities act as a strategic mechanism that converts digital and relational resources into sustainable competitive advantage. This study recommends strengthening digital infrastructure in rural Bangli and improving technological literacy among smallholder farmers to minimize information asymmetry in the international market.
