Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of online consumer reviews, online customer ratings, and influencers on purchase decisions among Shopee consumers. The sampling was conducted using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling approach. The study was carried out in November 2022, with a total sample size of 160 respondents. The criteria used to select respondents for this study were females who are Shopee account holders, have made fashion product purchases on the platform, and are aged between 18 to 25 years old. The data analysis technique used for this study was multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicates that: online consumer reviews have a positive effect on purchase decisions, online customer ratings also have a positive effect on purchase decisions, and Shopee influencers also have a positive effect on purchase decisions.

Abstract

This study set out to ascertain how solvency and profitability impacted financial performance. Using a purposive sampling technique, a mining business in the coal subsector that will be listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2016–2022, serves as the research sample. The debt to equity ratio (DER) is used to assess the solvency variable. Total assets turnover (TATO), a measure of asset utilization, and net profit margin (NPM), a measure of operating performance, are used to measure the profitability variable. Return on total assets (ROA) is a metric used to assess financial performance. The findings of this study show that all independent variables—DER, TATO, NPM, and ROA—affect the dependent variable of financial performance simultaneously and partially.

Abstract

Environmental sustainability in recent years has become the focus of discussion in many media, no longer it is merely the problem of physical environmental damage such as waste, forest damage and global warming, but has evolved towards discussing changes in human behavior in consuming products concerning to the consumption of environmentally friendly products/green products. Green purchasing behavior is buying behavior that in the purchasing decision process, it considers environmental sustainability. The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit the world has an impact on various sectors of human life, including changing people's buying behavior. This study aims to analyze the influence of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Environmental Knowledge, Perceived Seriousness of Environmental Problems, Consumers Attitudes toward The Environment, Green Product Oriented and Social Influence on Green Purchasing Behavior. This research type is a quantitative research with 7 variables and 111 respondents. The population in this study is the people of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Data were collected from September to November 2022. The sampling is using nonprobability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. Hypothesis testing used t-test (partial test) and F-tes (simultaneous test). The results of the study conclude that partially Environmental Knowledge, Consumers Attitudes toward The Environment, and Social Influence have a significant effect on Green Purchasing Behavior, while the Covid-19 Pandemic, Perceived Seriousness of Environmental Problems and Green Product Orientation variables have no significant effect on Green Purchasing Behavior. Overall, all variables have an effect of 37.3% on the Green Purchasing Behavior variable.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of governance on Cyber Supply Chain (CSC) Performance, which is mediated by Cyber Supply Chain (CSC) Visibility to achieve effective and efficient cyber supply chain risk management (CSCRM) practices for the supply chain management (SCM) process. The population of this research is all manufacturing companies on the island of Java, Indonesia, that have used computerized systems in their supply chain processes with qualifications or certifications ISO 27001, ISO 28000, ISO 28001, or other certifications that are management information system standards. This research will reveal the strengths or weaknesses of the mediating role of CSC Visibility on CSC Performance in manufacturing companies. This study also found empirical evidence that having a dedicated governance team consisting of technical and non-technical personnel is important in CSCRM in the manufacturing industry, especially Java Island in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the ability of MSMEs to implement PSS and provide recommendations to MSMEs in terms of strategies for utilizing PSS in MSMEs. This research was conducted on four MSMEs, two in the South Jakarta area and two in the Depok area. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The type of research method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative analysis. The data analysis method was carried out using the PSS Matrix analysis method by inputting the results of the questionnaire data. The results of this study indicate that MSME A qualifies for the use-oriented category, MSME B qualifies for the product-oriented and use-oriented categories, MSME C qualifies for the product-oriented and use-oriented categories, and MSME D qualifies for the use-oriented and result-oriented categories.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of supervisor support on job satisfaction and turnover intention in the workplace. Supervisor support is considered a key factor in creating a positive work environment and motivating employees. The study involves the analysis of direct effects of supervisor support on job satisfaction and its influence on employee turnover intention. The research methodology includes surveys and data analysis from respondents PT. Polywood Industry Sinar Wijaya Surabaya. Statistical analysis results show a positive relationship between supervisor support and employee job satisfaction. These findings illustrate that supervisors who provide effective support tend to enhance employee job satisfaction in the workplace. Furthermore, the study explores the mediating role of job satisfaction in the relationship between supervisor support and employee turnover intention. Mediation analysis results indicate that job satisfaction partially mediates the positive impact of supervisor support on turnover intention. This suggests that through the enhancement of job satisfaction, supervisor support can effectively reduce employees' desire to quit their jobs. In conclusion, these findings imply the crucial role of supervisor support in increasing employee job satisfaction and reducing turnover intention. The practical implications of this research suggest that organizations can enhance efforts to improve supervisor support as a strategy to minimize turnover intention and enhance employee job satisfactionThe study provides in-depth insights into the dynamic how support from supervisors affects job satisfaction and the desire to leave the company in today’s modern work environment.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of Digital Banking on risk-taking and sustainability reporting in banks registered in Indonesia by analyzing panel data from 55 banks in Indonesia for the 2018-2021 period, thus collecting 220 observations. The research results show that Digital Banking is proven to reduce risk-taking and improve the quality of sustainability reporting of banks in Indonesia. Future research is expected to use data over a longer period and requires confirmation from independent parties who have expertise in this field so that they can combine quantitative and qualitative approaches so that the quality of the research is better. This research provides something new in examining the role of Digital Banking in making bank decisions as represented by risk and sustainability reporting.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of board diversity in the form of the presence of female directors, the presence of foreign directors, the age of directors and the size of the board of directors against the risk of financial distress by conducting logistic regression testing on energy sector companies in Indonesia during 2018-2022. The results showed that the presence of female directors and the size of the board of directors negatively affected the risk of financial distress. Further research can test separately the period before the pandemic and after the pandemic so that the characteristics of each can be known in more detail. In addition, it can add cognitive diversity factors  such as education, expertise and tenure of directors. This research can be used as a reference to determine non-financial factors that can affect the possibility of financial distress experienced by the company.

Abstract

Uncertain situations are very vulnerable for organizations maintaining their activities. Organizations must have a strategy to maintain the availability of human resources. One of the strategies carried out by the organization is to create flexible work arrangements which are predicted to be a solution in the future to increase job satisfaction, commitment, and work-life balance and encourage employees to provide higher performance and innovation. This study used PLS (Partial Least Square) analysis tools and a sample size of 117 respondents. The results showed that flexible work arrangements affect work-life balance, loyalty, and innovative work behavior. Furthermore, work-life balance mediates the relationship of flexible work arrangements towards loyalty as well as mediates the relationship of flexible work arrangements towards innovative work behavior. This study was conducted to determine work flexibility and its relationship towards loyalty and innovative work behavior with the object of research of lecturers at Qamarul Huda Badarrudin University, Central Lombok.

Abstract

This research discusses the crucial role of media communication in ensuring effective communication for the continuity of business negotiation processes. Utilizing a qualitative research method, the study delves into factors influencing effective communication, the concept of effective communication in negotiations, and methods for determining effective communication media. The analysis incorporates the implications of media richness theory, emphasizing the need for negotiators to thoughtfully consider the complexity of negotiation issues when selecting communication channels. The study also addresses limitations acknowledged in the literature, particularly challenges associated with the dynamic nature of technology and cultural diversity. By synthesizing insights from qualitative research and literature review, this study offers comprehensive guidance for negotiators and practitioners, facilitating a deeper understanding of the intricate dynamics surrounding effective communication and media selection in the context of business negotiations.The objective is to understand the importance of communication media and the types of communication media used by negotiators in both small and large-scale business negotiation activities. In this research, a qualitative approach is employed, characterized by data that is presented in its natural context and as it is.
