Abstract

Social studies of UPPKS programs in Ngampilan Subdistrict are rarely held. The incomes of female group members of UPPKS depend on the program activities. The government policy which involves the increasing prices of daily needs and other household commodities causes the low ability of women in overcoming their life problems so that they are susceptible to poverty. It is a descriptive qualitative research, a research which collects and describes data and presents the real results without trying to make conclusion for public or generalization. The data collection has been through in-depth interviews, observations and document studies. The research will describes the household social economic condition of female group members of UPPKS in Ngampilan Sub district of Yogyakarta City and the strategy of survival. Identify the vulnerability indicators in building the strength of UPPKS female members in Ngampilan Sub district in Yogyakarta City,identify the institution models which is potential to decrease the vulnerability and identify risk types in any program activities.

Abstract

Diversification of post-havesting of coffe managed by the coffee farming group in the Sidoharjo district, Kulonprogo has several problems in post-harvest handling and processing coffee, especially in processing of coffee powder  with good manufacturing process (gmp) as well as conventional marketing management. Through the Community Partnership Program (PKM), the service team provide solutions to outcome problems through several methods; 1) training and assistance in post-harvest handling  2) training and assistance in the production of ground coffee in a natural process and 3) training and assistance in marketing management with digital marketing. The results of the assistance are the post-harvest handling and processing of coffee properly and correctly by producing ground coffee with the brand name "Lemon" as well as better managed marketing, not only in a conventional manner but also by using marketing based technologoy (www .kopilemon.com). With this Community Partnership Program, it has an impact on increasing the competitiveness and welfare of coffee farmers in the Menoreh area

Abstract

Efforts to develop MSMEs are currently the focus of the government. The ability of these business units is strongly influenced by entrepreneurial aspects. The ability of innovation and courage to face risks play a role in the development of MSMEs. Therefore, for small industries to develop, the development of entrepreneurial aspects for MSMEs is a very important factor to consider. Research on these tempe artisans units uses descriptive analysis by integrating qualitative and quantitative approaches. The variables of entrepreneurship consist of vision, planning, and courage to face risk. Data collection is conducted using structured interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results of the analysis provide clues to various efforts that need to be carried out to develop entrepreneurship for tempe artisans. This study concludes that tempe artisans are still very weak in the aspects of planning, namely marketing, production, HR and financial planning. While the aspects of vision and courage to take risks are good enough. The role of other parties, both government and private, is needed in the planning aspect. to assist the development of these business units. The role of this party is in the form of easiness in capital, training in planning and management and assistance, so that the tempe business unit as part of the creative industry in Sleman Regency can develop well.

Abstract

Kelompok usaha tani kopi di kawasan Bukit Menoreh Kelurahan Sidoharjo Kulonprogo mengalamibeberapa permasalahan dalam pengelolaan hilirisasi pascapanen kopi. Permasalahan yang adaadalah manajemen SDM dan pemasaran yang belum dikelola secara profesional, penangananpascapanen buah kopi, pengolahan produk primer, kendala lingkungan akibat meningkatnya hasilsamping dari kulit buah kopi, dan legalitas hukum dari produk kopi,. Melalui Program KemitraanMasyarakat (PKM), diberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan yang ada melalui beberapa metodependampingan; 1) pelatihan dan pendampingan pemberdayaan kelompok usaha tani kopi 2)pelatihan dan pendampingan produksi kopi bubuk, 3) pelatihan dan pendampingan produksi teh kulitkopi "cascara",4) pelatihan dan pendampingan terkait izin usaha perdagangan produk kopi danpemasaran usaha. Hasil dari kegiatan pendampingan adalah terwujudnya penanganan pascapanenbuah kopi dan pengolahan buah kopi dengan baik dan benar serta mengurangi kendala lingkungandengan mengolah produk turunan kulit buah kopi menjadi teh cascara. Hasil lainnya adalahterwujudnya produk kopi yang tersertifikasi Pangan Industri Rumah Tangga (PIRT) denganmanajemen SDM dan pemasaran yang dikelola dengan lebih baik, serta mendapatkan izin usaha.Dengan adanya program pendampingan ini berdampak pada meningkatnya daya saing dankesejahteraan petani kopi di kawasan Bukit Menoreh.

Abstract

The study aims to make effective model of empowerment of SMEs that can improve competitiveness and support the creative economy, so as to increase enterpreneurs that are oriented to product innovation. The specific target of the research is to obtain design and prototype of lurik weaving modification with natural fiber. The research was conducted with quantitative and qualitative approach, with Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. The research phase begins with the identification of human resources and product potentials, identifies the constraints faced by SMEs, followed by guidance and innovation development through design and prototype of lurik weaving modification with natural fiber. Based on the potential of human resources and products by considering the constraints faced by craftsmen, as well as based on the potential of natural resources (natural fiber) owned by the surrounding area, the researchers succeeded in making the design as the basis for creating prototype of the Lurik Abstract I Design, Lurik Abstract II , Lurik Dashed Lines Design, Lurik Mendong Combination Printing Design, Bamboo Lurik Feed Design and Lurik Combination Design.  Keywords: empowerment of SMEs, creative economy, lurik  Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat model pemberdayaan UKM  secara efektif yang dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan mendukung ekonomi kreatif, sehingga mampu meningkatkan pelaku usaha yang berorientasi pada inovasi produk. Target khusus penelitian adalah memperoleh desain  dan prototype modifikasi serat alam pada tenun lurik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan  pendekatan kuantitatif dan  kualitatif, dengan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Tahapan penelitian dimulai dengan pengidentifikasian potensi Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dan produk, pengidentifikasian kendala yang dihadapi UKM, dilanjutkan pembinaan dan pengembangan inovasi melalui pembuatan desain dan prototype tenun lurik modifikasi serat alam. Dengan mendasarkan pada potensi SDM dan produk dengan mempertimbangkan kendala yang dihadapi perajin, serta mendasarkan pada potensi sumber daya alam (serat alam) yang dimiliki daerah sekitar, maka peneliti berhasil membuat  desain  sebagai dasar untuk membuat prototype, yaitu Desain Lurik Abstrak I, Desain Lurik Abstrak II, Desain Lurik Garis Putus-Putus, Desain Lurik Mendong Kombinasi Printing, Desain Lurik Pakan Bambu, dan Desain Tenun Lurik Kombinasi. Kata Kunci: pemberdayaan UKM, ekonomi kreatif, lurik.

Abstract

The national economy experienced a slump at the beginning of 2020. The Covid-19 pandemic has reduced economic activity which has an impact on a decline in economic growth. SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) as the backbone of the national economy during the 2018 monetary crisis experienced a sharp decline in growth due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The revival of SMEs has a big role in the revival of the national economy. This study aims to analyze the right marketing strategy for woven fabric SMEs in Kulon Progo Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses qualitative descriptive analysis of 32 business actors who were selected as informants with certain criteria. The type of data collected is primary data. The data analysis method used in this study is SWOT which consists of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. The results of the analysis show that the most appropriate marketing strategy for woven fabric SMEs in Kulon Progo Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic is a turn-around strategy through increasing human resource capabilities in the use of information technology media; increasing digital marketing through the use of social media such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and website in promoting products; utilizing and improving communication links to form partnerships between business actors in various fields; and improving management for business units.

Abstract

The government's concern in solving environmental problems is manifested by the launching of an environmental development program. The success of this program is highly influenced by people's behavior in choosing and consuming environmentally friendly products (also known as green consumers’ behavior). This study aims to examine the effects of environmental knowledge, environment attitude, recycle behavior, and political action on green consumers’ behavior in Yogyakarta Special Province, Indonesia by using a quantitative descriptive analysis of a sample of 100 respondents who were randomly selected. The type of data used in this research is primary data. The research variables consist of a dependent variable, namely green consumers’ behavior (GCB), and independent variables, namely environmental knowledge, environment attitude, recycle behavior, and political action. The data is processed and analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 24. The method of this analysis used multiple linear regression. The analysis results showed that environmental knowledge and environment attitudes have not significant effects on green consumers’ behavior. While recycling behavior and political action have positive and significant effects on green consumers’ behavior.

Abstract

Independence of a region can be seen from the ability of the region to meet its own needs by optimizing the Regional Revenue. Local Revenue (PAD) in Sleman is one of the sources of local revenue, although there are still some other sources of revenue. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness and contribution of PAD Sleman to Sleman Local Revenue for the period 2012-2016 and projected PAD Sleman in 2017-2018. The method used in this research is quantitative. Data obtained from the Office of Revenue and Financial Management Sleman District Year 2012-2016. The process of data processing using the formula of analysis of effectiveness, contribution and trend with the Least Square method. The results show that 1) The highest percentage of PAD effectiveness in 2013 is 150.55% and the lowest of 2014 is 104.35%. 2) The contribution of PAD to Regional Income in Sleman Regency is the largest in 2016 of 30.79% and the lowest of 2012 is 18.93% .3) The projection of PAD in 2017 is 809,970,380,800 and in 2018 is 947,199,851,200.
