Abstract

AbstractThis research is aimed to know the influence of the Realistic Mathematic Education approach on student learning outcomes in algebraic operating material in VII the grade of SMP Pancasila Sungai Kakap. The method is used in this research is an experimental the one shot case study. For looked at the consistency of learning outcomes, so after two week later would be given delayed-test. From the result of the research obtained the average student learning outcomes on the posttest is 77.25 and the average student learning outcomes on the delayed test is 72.05. Based on the analysis result by using t test the average one sample is obtained that t count (3,89) > t table (2,09) so, there was a significant differences between the average value of students at posttest and delayed test. With the differences in the results of posttest and delayed test then there is inconsistency between the value of posttest and delayed test. It is means that the application of the Realistic Mathematic Education approach to in algebraic operating material does not influence of on students learning outcomes. Keywords: Influence, Realistic Mathematic Education, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis study wasaimed to know how students? participation in learning recount text improved through peer review technique. The study was conducted through Classroom Action Research which was done in two cycles. The subjects of the research were the English teacher and 16 students of class X MIPA 1 at MA Al-Ma?arifSintang in academic year 2017/2018. The writer used observation checklists and field notes as instruments of data collection. The finding showed that applying Peer Review technique improved students? participation from cycle to cyle. In the first cycle, the students actively participated in learning simple past tense (was/were) in recount text. However, the students? participation in the first cycle was not good enough and most of students were still get low result of participation, the writer conducted the second cycle. In the second cycle, the students improved their participation in learning regular and irregular verbs. In conclusion, students? participation on learning recount text specifically in simple past tense improved through Peer Review technique. Keywords: Students? Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the feasibility of class X biodiversity material magazines from morphology, nutrient content and fruit fiber of baladok (Burasaia congesta Decne), jempari (Ixora lobbii Loudon) and titidan (Nephelium cuspidatum Blume) that was carried out in Tembawang forest, Bengkayang District. This research was descriptive method using purposive sampling technique. There were two stages of validation, namely instrument validation and media validation. Magazine media was validated by five validators consisting of two lecturers of  biology education FKIP Tanjungpura university, one biology teacher in Pontianak City and two biology teachers in Bengkayang District. Assessment of instrument validation and magazine validation consisted of three aspects and 10 criteria which were calculated using the analysis method of Lawshe Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Content Validity Index (CVI). Based on the results of the study, instrument validation was said to be feasible to use and corrected, while magazine validation obtained CVR and CVI of 0.99 values on aspects of language, content and construction in accordance with Lawshe's minimum CVR value for five validators so that the magazine was said to be valid and feasible to used as a learning media on material biodiversity in class X high school.Keywords: magazine, biodiversity, baladok, jempari, titidan

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe the enhancement Student Learning Result by using Cooperative Model techniques exchange of pairs in Social Studies learning Class V SDN 68 Pontianak Barat. The method used is a descriptive method with class action research (CAR) and is collaborative. Data collection techniques used is the direct observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is to use an average calculation formula (Mean). This research was conducted in 3 cycles with the results 1) the average ability of teachers to plan learning, namely as follows, in cycle 1 was 3.15, in cycle II was 3.70, in cycle III was 3.91. 2) the average ability of teachers to carry out learning, namely as follows, in the cycle I was 2.41, in the cycle II was 3.49, in the cycle III was 3.71. 3) the average students learning outcomes are as follows, in the cycle I was 71.18, in the cycle II was 80 and in the cycle III was 90.78. Abstract

AbstractOral literature is one of literary work made and recited orally as a part of art performances as well as in ordinary occasion. It tells about occurring events or the culture of a society. The general problems in this research was the environment of the recited spells, the meaning of the spells, and the function of the spells as an oral literature. Theories and studies used in this research were oral literature in features, forms and functions, environment of recited spells, heuristical and heumaristical reading, functions of spells, interpreting theory, semiotical structures, study planning in schools, and literature study. This was a descriptive method research in form of qualitative study with semiotical approach. The main source of this research was the reciter of the spell, and the data were the recited spells in form of words.The analysis results of the healing spells of Melayu Belitang people found that there were twenty environments of recited spells, twenty spells meanings of three religious interpretation, self trait meaning, and society meaning. It also discovered that there were fourteen functions of healing spells such as belief, social, cultural, educational, communication, and the literary function itself. Hopefully, the suggestions of this research can be beneficial for future research and learning material in schools. Keywords: meaning, function, healin spells.

Abstract

AbstractSelf-concept of X Akuntansistudents at SMK Panca Bhakti Sui Rayawere still unsatisfied. This research wasconductedto determine whether therewas an effect on students?self-concepts taught using concept mapping method of cooperative learningcompared toconventional learning model or not, and to determine effectsize of concept mapping method of cooperative learning towardstudents? self-concept. This research usedquasi experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample wasclass X Akuntansi. The data collection tool used is self-concept questionnaire consist 12 statement. Based on pre-questionnaire and post-questionnaire data analysis using the Linear Regression Analysis, the correlation coefficient obtained was 0.4478 and measured significant. The linear regression equation obtained was  means that the effect was linear and positive. The effect size was calculated from the determination coefficient (0.2005) so the method gave 20,05% effect to students? self-concept. Concept mapping method of cooperative learninggave1.79% effecttowardacademic confidence indicator and 1.12% toward academic effort indicator. Keywords:  Concept Mapping Method, Coperative Learning, Self-Concept

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to know and describe the teacher?s class management, student?s learning activities, student?s respond and student?s outcomes in the implementation of reciprocal teaching approach in the operation of fraction topic at class VII SMPS LKIA Pontianak. The research method is descriptive method. The form of research is preexperiment with One Shot Case Study design.The research subjects are 15 students. Based on data analysis that review four aspects, the results are : (1) the teacher?s class management categorized very good with an average score 3,94; (2) student?s learning activities categorized active withan average percentage score 83%; (3) student?s respond categorize positive with percentage score 81%; and (4) student?s outcome is not reached classical completeness with only 67% of student can achieve the criteria of minimum completeness. Because only three out of four aspects that achieved, the conclusion of this research is the implementation of reciprocal teaching approach is not effective to apply in the operation of fraction topic at class VII SMPS LKIA Pontianak. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of the study was to document and describe of taboo word in BMDKS based the classification on the opinion of Frazer and describe of reference euphemism based on the opinions Wijana and Rohmadi. The method used in the study is descriptive  the with of qualitative research. Using the sociolinguistic approach. Techniques data collection in the research this is techniques direct observation. Collection data tools in this research is recorders voice,  stationery to take notes, and researchers as the main instruments. The data source of this research is three informants  speech BMDKS. Based on the results of the research found 58 the words taboo BMDKS. The units linggual language a divided in  two the types, namely words and phrases that can be grauped to several categories such as: 1) the word based on the verb, Nouns, and adjectives,  2) the phrase in the units grammatical consisting of two or more words classified based phrase the category apositive the phrase type verbs, Adjectives,  and nouns. Based classification taboo that is; name of people and animals, parents name, name relatives, and taboo certain words the which elaborated again to be eight categories that is taboo the mention; genitals, sexual activity,  profession, physical functions, spirit, objects or circumstances, and diseases. Abstract

AbstractThe goal of this research was to investigate the extent of the influencebetween the learning environtment at school toward the year-11 students learning motivation at "SMKN 1 Pontianak". The method used in this research was descriptiove in the form of a correlative study. The tools of data collection were questionnaire, observation sheets, interview guidance and documentation. The population of this research were154 year-11 accountancy studentsand 36 as the samples. The result of this research showed that learning environment in the school was in high category with 72,88%. The year-11 accountancy students' motivation to learn was also in high category with 77,88%. Based on the analysis data, there was a resemblance 33,,814+0,44x. Due to the high regression value, or (R) effect  was 0,583 which categorized as average.The result of t test showed that t value > t table was (5,596>2,001). Therefore Ha was acceoted and Ho was rejected, so that it could be conluded that the learning enfironment affected the motivation of year-11 accountancy students at "SMKN 1 Pontianak". Coefficient determination (R2) result was 0,339 which meant the contribution percentage of the environment learning effect at school toward the year- 11 accountancy students' motivation at "SMKN 1 Pontianak  was 33,9% meanwhile the rest was 66,1 % which affected with another factors such as: family and social environment. Keyword: School Learning Environment, Students Motivation to Learn, Accounting Major

Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this research is to determine the  literacy movement SekolahDasar Negeri 1 Mempawah Hilir (the stages arein habituation, development, and learning) through reading interest in Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Mempwah Hilir 1 in terms of the aspects of literacy planning, literacy implementation, and literacy evaluation. The research was carried out at SekolahDasar Negeri 1 Mempawah Hilir. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this research were principals, teachers, and students while the data collection was done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis is done through stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Techniques for checking the validity of data using triangulation. The results of this research showed that literacy (habituation, teaching, and learning) through reading interest in the planning, implementation, supporting factors, inhibiting and evaluation stages of learning already done it. The character planningon learning by incorporating elements of literacy and designing the implementation of learning. The implementation of learning is done by the teacher with applying school literacy and reading interest that is carried out through literacy, teachers and is carried out every day by all school residents. The evaluation of learning is assessment of the process and assessment of learning outcomes.Keywords :literacy, reading interest, learning
