AbstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of the process skills approach in thematic learning on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 66 Pontianak Kota. The research method used is the experimental method. Quasi experimental research design with a nonequivalent control group design. The population is all students of class IV 66 Pontianak Elementary School, 41 students. Sampling using simple random sampling technique, the sample obtained is class IV A consisting of 21 students and class IV B consisting of 20 students. In the selection of the experimental and control class is done by lottery that is making two rolls of paper that reads the control class and the experimental class, which is selected as the experimental class is class IV A and as the control class is IV B. The data collection technique is measurement with research instruments in the form of an optional test. double to measure learning outcomes. Based on the calculations obtained, the average post-test learning outcomes of the experimental class 75.45 with the average post-test learning outcomes of the control class of 63.90, then a tcount of 4.284 and ttable (a = 5%) and (dk = 21 + 20 - 2 = 39) equal to 2,023, which means tcount (4,284) ˃ ttable (2,023), then Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the calculation of the effect size obtained by 0.97 which includes high criteria so that the process skills approach gives an effect in thematic learning towards the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at 66 Pontianak Elementary School. AbstractThis study aims to describe the Existence of Raddat Koko Dance. The problem of this research is related to the development of Raddat Koko Dance from the ginning of it creation until now it can survive today and describes the factors that influence the development of Raddat Koko Dance. Descriptive method with qualitative research form and using historical approach by carrying out several steps, namely heuristics, linkages, interpretation, and historiography. Sources of data obtained by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity testing technique uses extension of observation, source triangulation and techniques. Raddat Koko Dance is a traditional dance originating from the Sekuduk Village of Sambas Regency. At first this dance was used to trick the Dutch invaders, so that peple who were practicing the martal arts movements were not suspected. From 1928 to 2019 the exixtence of Raddat Koko Dance still existed among the people. Usually this dance is welcoming ceremony, wedding, and Independence day celebrations. AbsractThis research is based on the willingness of the researcher to find out the polymetric in music?s acompaniment of Ngeruai Kenemiak dance of Dayak Kantu? tribe, Kapuas Hulu. Polymetric is the use of two different time signature signs of each instrument that played simultaneously in one composition. The purposes of this research are: 1) The descriptioning of the structure of music?s acompaniment of Ngeruai Kenemiak dance of Dayak Kantu? tribe, Kapuas Hulu, 2) The analysis of the polymetric in music?s acompaniment of Ngeruai Kenemiak dance of Dayak Kantu? tribe, Kapuas Hulu. A method used in this research is analysis descriptive method with musicological approachment. The data is analyzed qualitatively. According to the data analysis, music?s accompaniment of Ngeruai Kenemiak has four parts: tebah bujang berani in the opening, tebah kumang gaga in the middle?, and tebah ansing-ansing in the ending. The polymetric used in the composisition composed by the use of time signature signs in gerumong instrument 5/4 and 3/4 are different with what used in bebenai, tawak, and ketebong instruments (4/4). AbstractThis study aims to improve the ability to tell storiesthrough free drawing in group B TK LKIA II Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive. The research approach uses a qualitative appoarch and the form of this research is action research assisted by the class teachers as collaborator. The subjects of the study were children of group B (5-6 years) totaling 16 people consisting of 3 women dan 13 men. Data collection techniques used in this study were observastion and documentation, while data collection tool was an observation sheets and documentation. This research was conducted in two cycles with assessment criteria, namely to tell pictures that were made and express words clearly. The abilty to tell pictures made in the first cycles was 12,5%, then increased in the second cycle to 81,25% and the ability to express word clearly in the first cycle by 25%, then increased in the second cycle to 87,5%. Based on the study an increase in the ability to tell stories through free drawing in group B TK LKIA II Pontianak. So the implication is that the teacher can apply free drawing activities to improve chilldren’s storytelling abilities. Keywords:Storytelling Ability, Free Drawing, Children Aged 5-6 Years

Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine the application of character education in learning history which has a strategic meaning in the formation of Indonesian human character with a sense of nationalism and love for the homeland. This study used a qualitative approach by discussing the results of data processing in the field about the implementation of character education, starting from observations, interviews and realistic results. The implementation of character education in Madrasah Aliyah Hidayatus Shibyan Kubu Raya is adjust to the institutional curriculum reference on the Yellow Book ‘Alim Mutaálim which teaches the exemplary of a student with a teacher, so that all teachers can implement character education properly in accordance with the local content reference. Then the history teacher also integrates in every syllabus and RPP in implementing character education in class XII in particular. The character education is adjust to the conditions during the learning process. AbstractThe problem discussed in this study is how big is the level of student discipline in participating in football extracurricular activities at the Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak High School. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of student discipline in participating in football extracurricular activities at the Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak High School. The approach in this study is a quantitative approach, because this research is presented with numbers. With survey research forms. The population in this study were students who took part in the extracurricular football activities of SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak, amounting to 40 people. The sampling technique in this study uses saturated sampling. The number of samples used is in accordance with the total population of 40 people. In a research data collection technique used is indirect communication techniques.The results of this study indicate there is a level of discipline of students in joining football extracurricular activities at the St. Francis Asisi High School Pontianak reaching an actual score of 1039 from an ideal score of 1400 meaning reaching 74.21% of what it should be, thus belonging to the "Good" category. This can be interpreted that in all aspects of the level of student discipline in following the football extracurricular activities at the Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak High School, including both. AbstractEnhancing moral behavior through hadith learning is a way to improve children's moral behavior by using a hadith that is delivered using audio-visual media. In this case the researcher wants to see and examine how teachers improve and plan learning through hadith learning that utilizes audio-visual media as a source of learning in children aged 5-6 years. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning of hadith learning, how the implementation of hadith learning and the improvement of moral behavior in children through the learning of hadith children aged 5-6 years at RA DWP Regional Office of Ministry of Religion in Pontianak. This research was conducted using descriptive methods by conducting class action research, the research data are presented in the form of words and numbers. As for the source of the data is group B children aged 5-6 years, totaling 34 people. Data collection techniques used in this study were non-test techniques. While the data collection tool is in the form of direct observation. From the results of researchers show that the learning model through hadith learning has been going well and implemented in accordance with the RPPH that was made. In real media learning that researchers have prepared in accordance with the themes and development of children aged 5-6 years in RA DWP Pontianak Regional Office of Ministry of Religion. Starting from the results of the study, then there are a number of suggestions given namely relating to (1) the media used, (2) classroom settings, (3) plans in learning. Keywords: Behavior, Hadith, Moral

AbstractThis research is conducted on eighth grade students of SMP Pertiwi Pontianak in academic year 2013/2014. The researcher concerned on improving students’ speaking skill in term of accuracy in pronouncing the words and fluency in delivering the dialogues. Those were students’ problems in transactional conversation covers the expressing of asking and giving information, like and dislike, and asking, giving and refuse service. Role-playing technique by using hand puppet in form of dialogue facilitates students to have a chance in preparing, practicing and reflecting their speaking skill. The method of this research was classroom action research. The data on this research were collected by the use of observation and measurement technique. The observation checklist and field note were used to help the researcher in observing everything happened in teaching and learning activity. This research was done in three cycles. After applying role play technique by using hand puppet in form of dialogue, the students improved their accuracy in pronouncing the words and fluency in delivering the dialogues from cycle to cycle. Based on the research findings, the mean score of students’ speaking skill in the first cycle was 47.62 which was categorized as poor, in the second cycle was 56.85 which was still categorized as poor to average and finally in the third cycle was 71.73 which is categorized as average to good. In conclusion, role play technique by using hand puppet helped the teacher to teach her students to speak in English and encourage students to speak up in the classroom. AbstractThe title of these research was “The Internalization of analysis of clean and healty living behavior values in the children of Panti Asuhan Aisyiyah Tunas Harapan Pontianak. The general problem in this research is the internalization process about clean and healty living behavior values in children of Panti Asuhan Aisyiyah Tunas Harapan Pontianak. The purposes in this research is to know the internalization process about clean and healty living behavior values in term of exemplary, habituation, dan socialization aspects. The approach in this research is qualitative approach and descriptive method. The technique of data collection in this research is passive pasrticipation observation, interviews, and documentary studie. The tools of this research is in the form of observation guides, interview guides, field notes, and camera. The technique of data analysis is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion retraction. The alaysis in this research presented descriptively by using 5 informants consist of Mr. RB the caretaker of the Panti Asuhan Aisyiyah Tunas Harapan Pontianak and YN, SN, AN, and DN as the children of the Panti Asuhan Aisyiyah Tunas Harapan Pontianak. The results from this research indicate that the internalization process about clean and healty living behavior valeus in children of Panti Asuhan Aisyiyah Tunas Harapan Pontianak form the caretaker of the Panti Asuhan is already done. This is proven in examples and socialization from the 6 indicators PHBS that is 1) using the clean water 2) wash their hands with clean water and soap 3) use healty latrines 4) eradicate mosquito larvae 5) eat the vegetables and fruits 6) doing some physical activity. While in the aspect of habituation, children of the Panti already done clean and healty life behavior in their daily lives. Keywords: Internalization, Values, PHBS Â

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of Novick's learning model in remediating student's misconceptions on harmonic vibration material in class X SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak. The form of research used was pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test design. The data collection tool in the form of 12 multiple choice questions with 3 alternative answers accompanied by open reasons. The sample of this research is the students of class X MIA 1 which consists of 32 people selected as sample saturated with intact group techniques. The results of the test reliability test of 0.68 (strong category). The decrease in the average of misconceptions per student by 73,2%. By using the McNemar test, there was a conceptual change in students with a significance test obtained by average x2hitungrata-rata (162,86) > x2tabel (3,84) for the value of α = 5%, db=1. The effectiveness of applying the learning model Novick in remediating misconceptions is moderate (ΔS = 0.6739). This research is expected to be used as an alternative remediation activity in overcoming misconceptions experienced by students.Keywords: Misconception, Novick Learning Models, Remediation, Vibration of Harmony
