Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of the discovery model in thematic learning on thelearning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 09 Pontianak Barat.The research methodused is the experimental method. Quasi experimental research design with a nonequivalentcontrol group design. The population is all students of class V SDN 09 Pontianak Barat, 149students. Sampling using simple random sampling technique. The sample used was 61students consisting of 31 students of class VA as the experimental class and class VCof 30 students as the control class. The data collection technique is measurementwith a research instrument in the form of multiple choice tests.Based on thecalculations obtained, the average post-test learning outcomes of the experimental class78.13 with the average post-test learning outcomes of the control class of 70.30, then a tcountof 4.595 and ttable (=5%) and (dk=31+30-2=59) equal to 2.001, which means tcount (4.595)˃ ttable (2.001), then Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the calculation of the effect sizeobtained by 0.69 which includes medium criteria so that the discovery model gives an effectin thematic learning towards the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 09Pontianak Barat.Keywords: Influence, Discovery Model, Learning Outcomes, Thematic Learning.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims was to understand the effect of guided discovery learning model to student learning’s result in natural science . The method was used in this research was experimental method, with type nonequivalent control group design. Population in this research is all students grade III of elementary school 66 Pontianak City. Sample in this research were students of grade III B (31 students) and III A (32 students). Data collecting technique used was measurement technique while data collecting tool is the test. Based on the results of data analysis, average student learning result of the experimental class was 72,72 while the control class was 68,43. Result of hypothesis test (t-test) using t-test separated varians obtained thitung 2,31 and ttabel 1,67 (significant level (α) = 5% and dk = 61) that indicated thitung was bigger than ttabel, so hypothesis research accepted. In this research the effect size is 0,49 . It means that guided discovery learning model give effect to student learning result in natural science on grade III of elementary school 66 Pontianak City. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe interactive multimedia teaching materials, analyze the feasibility of interactive multimedia teaching materials, and analyze students' learning motivation levels during the use of interactive multimedia teaching materials in class IV MIN 3 Pontianak students. The research method is Research and Development adapting by Thiagarajan 4D design development model. Data sources of this research are the results of the validation of media experts, the results of the validation of the material experts, the results of students’ responses, and the results of observation during the use of interactive multimedia teaching materials. Observation and documentation questionnaire on the validation process of material experts, media experts, and documentation during the use of the materials by students. The results showed that during the process it through 5 stages namely the preliminary study stage, the define stage, the design stage, the development phase, and the dissemination stage. The feasibility of the materials has the average percentage of aspects of the media by 89% valid category, from the aspect of the material percentage of an average of 88.5% valid categories. Learning motivation of students during the use of the materials for six days has an average percentage of 96% categorized as very good.Keywords: Development, teaching materials, interactive multimedias, motivation

Abstract

Abstract.This study aimed to analyze how much influence the Scientific Approach has on the Learning Outcomes of Students on Class IV Thematic Learning in Pontianak Bawamai Elementary School. Using the experimental method with the form of research that is pre-experimental design with the experimental design of one group pretest-posttest design. Using a sample of the population because there is only one class, class IV, which amounts to 40. Research instrument used to measure student learning outcomes in the form of knowledge tests. The data collection technique in this study was a measurement technique. The research obtained an average experimental class pretest was 76.58 and the post-test average of the experimental class was 83.70. Hypothesis test results using t-test obtained t_count = 6.104 for dk = 39 and α = 5% obtained t_table = 2.023, which means t_count (6.104)>t_table (2.023), then Ha thus accepted. So, it can be concluded that there were differences in student learning outcomes at the pretest and posttest. From the results of the calculation of the effect size (ES) of 0.97 (high). Thus the process approach to thematic learning has a high influence on the learning outcomes of Grade IV students at Pontianak Bawamai Elementary School.Keywords: Contextual Learning, Influence, Poetry.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to examine how much the influence of applying STAD type cooperative model on learning outcomes in the thematic learning  of fifth grade  SDN  66 Pontianak Kota. The method used was a Non Equivalent Control Group Design experimental design. The technique of data collecting used was the measurement technique. The tool of data collecting used was a written test in the form of multiple choice. Based on the data analysis, obtained the average results of the experimental class post-test was 73.62 and the average post-test control class was 67.44. Hypothesis test results using t-test (Polled Variance) obtained tcount = 3.224 while (dk = 36 + 37-2 = 71) with a 5% significance level obtained ttable = 1.99, which means tcount >ttable, then Ha is accepted, this proved there are the effect by applying STAD type cooperative model on learning outcomes in the thematic learning of fifth grade. The calcullation results of of Es obtained = 0.52, including as medium criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the STAD type cooperative model in Thematic learning has a moderate effect on student learning outcomes of fifth grade  SDN  66 Pontianak Kota.Keywords: Influence, Learning Outcomes, STAD Type Cooperative Model, Thematic Learning.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to produce a product in the form of a validated powerpoint-based learning media. The research method used is research anddevelopment (R&D) by adapting the Borg and Gall design developmentmodel. The data sources of this research are the results of observations,interviews, expert validation, student responses, and documentationduring the use of powerpoint-based learning media. Data collectiontechniques in this study were observation, interviews and questionnaires.The results showed that the powerpoint-based learning media developmentprocess had gone through 7 research steps, namely potential andproblems, data collection, product design, product validation, revision,trial, and final product revision. The feasibility level of the developedlearning media is very good in terms of design and material aspects withan average value of 3.76 and 3.77, and the results of product trials arevery good with an average value of 3.58.Keywords: Development, Microsoft Powerpoint-based Learning Media

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to analyze the effect of science technology society model to fourth grade students' thematic study result atSekolah Dasar Negeri 12 Pontianak Kota. This research used experimental method with a quasi experimental form and nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was all fourth grade students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 12 Pontianak Kota with total 47 students. The sampling technique used probability sampling with simple random sampling type. Data collection techniques used measurement techniques. The research instrument used was a written test with multiple choice form.Based ondata analysis result, average score of post-test in the experiment class and the control class were 65 and 57,826.The result of t-test obtained tcount = 2,043 and ttable = 2,0105 (α = 5%; db = 44). Because tcount (2,043) > ttable (2,0105), its mean Ha accepted and H0 rejected. The effect size result was0,57 with medium criteria. The conclusion in this study was the science technology model effected to fourth grade students’ thematic study result at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 12 Pontianak Kota. Keyword:           The Effect, Science Technology Society Model, Study Result, Thematic Learning

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of the process skills approach in thematic learning on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 66 Pontianak Kota. The research method used is the experimental method. Quasi experimental research design with a nonequivalent control group design. The population is all students of class IV 66 Pontianak Elementary School, 41 students. Sampling using simple random sampling technique, the sample obtained is class IV A consisting of 21 students and class IV B consisting of 20 students. In the selection of the experimental and control class is done by lottery that is making two rolls of paper that reads the control class and the experimental class, which is selected as the experimental class is class IV A and as the control class is IV B. The data collection technique is measurement with research instruments in the form of an optional test. double to measure learning outcomes. Based on the calculations obtained, the average post-test learning outcomes of the experimental class 75.45 with the average post-test learning outcomes of the control class of 63.90, then a tcount of 4.284 and ttable (a = 5%) and (dk = 21 + 20 - 2 = 39) equal to 2,023, which means tcount (4,284) ˃ ttable (2,023), then Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the calculation of the effect size obtained by 0.97 which includes high criteria so that the process skills approach gives an effect in thematic learning towards the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at 66 Pontianak Elementary School. Keywords: Influence, Learning Outcomes, Process Skill Approach, Thematic Learning.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to analyze and prove the influence of the problem- based learning models in thematic learning on student learning outcomes in fifth grade of the Mujahidin Elementary School South Pontianak. The research method used was an Experiment, a form of Quasi Experimental type of NonEquivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used Purposive Sampling. The techniques used in data collection are measurements with research instruments in the form of multiplechoice test to measure cognitive domain, affective domain using attitude assessment sheets, and psychomotor domain using psychomotor assessment sheets. The results of data analysis are, cognitive domain the average score of the learning outcomes experiment class 71,36 and the control class is 65,50. After the t-test is obtained tcount (2,8761) > ttable (2,0042) then Ha is accepted. Affective domain the average score of the learning outcomes experiment class 76,28 and the control class is 75,4. After the t-test is obtained tcount (1,6714) < ttable (2,0042) then Ho is accepted.  Psychomotor domain the average score of the learning outcomes experiment class 75,8957 and the control class is 73,00. After the t-test is obtained tcount (4,4829) > ttable (2,0042) then Ha is accepted. From the calculation of the effect size obtained at 0.52. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to produce teaching materials based on pictorial stories on thematic learning in class II theme 4 sub-theme 2 Clean and Healthy Living in Schools. This type of research is a development research using a model ADDIE with analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation steps. Data quantitative data comes from the score of the product assessment results by the validator as well as from the results of filling out a questionnaire on the practicality of teaching materials by teachers and students. Qualitative data obtained from suggestions and notes by the validator. The level of validity of teaching materials based on the results of assessments by experts design and material experts while the practicality of teaching materials is based on the results of the assessment by students and teachers of class II Public Elementary School 35 South Pontianak. Results validation of teaching materials design experts obtained an average of 4.1 with the "valid" category. Results expert validation of teaching materials obtained an average of 3.8 in the "valid" category. Results the practicality of teaching materials by students obtained an average of 3.6 with the category "very" practical". The results of the practicality assessment of teaching materials by teachers obtained an average of 3.4 with the “very practical” category.Keywords: Comic, Development, Teaching Materials
