Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine the application of character education in learning history which has a strategic meaning in the formation of Indonesian human character with a sense of nationalism and love for the homeland. This study used a qualitative approach by discussing the results of data processing in the field about the implementation of character education, starting from observations, interviews and realistic results. The implementation of character education in Madrasah Aliyah Hidayatus Shibyan Kubu Raya is adjust to the institutional curriculum reference on the Yellow Book ‘Alim Mutaálim which teaches the exemplary of a student with a teacher, so that all teachers can implement character education properly in accordance with the local content reference. Then the history teacher also integrates in every syllabus and RPP in implementing character education in class XII in particular. The character education is adjust to the conditions during the learning process. The implementation of character education experienced several obstacles including time, environment, and electronic media. Keywords: Character Education, History Learning, Implementation

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to examine the usage effectiveness of picture and picture learning models towards the learning outcomes of 11th grade students in Senior High School Number 10 (SMAN 10) in Pontianak. The research methodology used in this study is static-design experiment with 2 groups. The research subject was 11th grade students in SMAN 10 Pontianak. Further, XI IPS 2 consisted of 31 students serves as the control class, while the experiment class was XI IPS 3 (30 students). Research procedures consist of planning, implementation, and final stages. The data collected was in form of post test result from both control and experiment classes. Data collection techniques utilized in this research were direct observations, measurement, and documentary study techniques. Data collection instruments encompassed learning outcome test, observation sheet, and documentations. Data analysis used validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, and independent sample T-tests. The use of picture and picture model found a difference in learning outcomes from control and experiment classes. The analysis result of hypothesis testing by using independent T-test shows a significant value in post test score, 0.000< 0.05. Thus, it can inferring that H0 is rejected, while Ha is accepted. This study concludes that the use of picture and picture model is effective toward the learning outcomes of history subject of students in SMAN 10 Pontianak. Keywords: Effectiveness of Picture and Picture Learning Model Usage, Learning Outcomes, History Subject

Abstract

AbstractPresent study aim to develop a pop-up book learning media sub-discussion of early humans in Indonesia in class X. Early human sub-discussion in Indonesia is material that studi abstract objects for students so that students find it difficult to understand ancient human material in Indonesia. Moreover, in conveying of material, the references are using still lacked in the form of several historical package books and several LKS. The research method used was the 4-D model development (R & D). However, researchers were only research only up to the third D. Present  results showing validity and practicality in the material aspects of 81.6% with good criteria and revised as needed. Students responses to the pop-up book media carry out on a small scale of 12 people and a large scale of 25 consecutive people who receive a percentage of 79.2% (with strong criteria) and 85.7% (with very strong criteria). Based on the measurement of media effectiveness based on the results of the assessment of the pretest and posttest in the form of multiple choice questions with the number of 30 items obtaine n-gain 0.6 with moderate information. Keywords: Pop-Up Book?s Media, Sub-Discussion of Early Humans in Indonesia

Abstract

AbstractThis research for knowing by the application of learning models in the teaching and learning process, besides that conventional learning with the lecture method makes students less interested until the motivation of students to follow the teaching and learning process is reduced. This study aims to determine the effective or not use of Examples Non Examples learning models on student learning outcomes in historical subjects in MAN 1 Pontianak. The research method used an experimental method with pre-experimental design and the research design used One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. The subject of the research was the X IPS 3 MAN 1 Pontianak class. The process of determining the class that is the subject of research is based on the lowest student learning outcomes. The data collection tool used consist of interview guides, observation sheets, documents and learning outcomes tests. Based on the data analysis used using the t-test the results obtained by the significance value (Sig.2-tailed) were 0,000. Hypothesis testing Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted because 0,000 <0,05 so there are differences in learning outcomes after using Examples Non Examples learning models and the effect size of student learning outcomes is 1,29 categorized as high class. Thisresult  that the use of Examples Non Examples learning models is effectively for teaching and learning in historical subjects in MAN 1 Pontianak.  Keywords:Effective, Learning Outcomes, Learning Models Examples Non Examples, Historical Subjects.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana urgensinya Pendidikan karakter dan bagaimana guru mengimplemntasikannya dalam pembelajaran sejarah di SMK Cahaya bangsa yang barkaitan dengan tiga aspek pembelajaran yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan (strategi dan metode pembelajaran) dan evaluasi pembelajarannya selama masa pandemic covid 19. Metode Penelitian yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada semester Ganjil tahun ajaran 2021-2022 di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Cahaya Bangsa Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat. Ada dua sumber data yang peneliti gunakan yakni data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini menjukan era globlisasi dan moderniasi yang berdampak negative terhadap moral dan pergaulan peserta didik menunjukan urgensi Pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran sejarah pada masa pandemic covid 19 sehingga peserta didik mampu belajar dari sejarah. Sedagka Implementasinya guru sejarah membuat Perencanaan pembelajaran yang diturunnkan dari silabus yang telah dibuat oleh pemerintah. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran sejarah masa pandemic ini guru harus memaksimalkan strategi dan metode pembelajaran terutama dalam memanfaatkan media dan sumber pembelajaran sejarah. Evalusi pembelajaran perlu dilakukan sejak awal untuk melihat keberhasilan implementasi Pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran sejarah selama masa pandemic ini. Evalusi pembelajran sejarah dapat dilakukan guru dengan tes kelompk atau tes induvidu guna melihat perubahan hasil belajar afektif peserta didik

Abstract

Pemblajaran Daring menuntut guru untuk memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, salah satunya adalah google classroom namun tidak sedikit guru-guru yang belum mengetahui seluruh fitur pada aplikasi Google Classroom. Sebagaimana yang terjadi di SD Negeri 32 Pontianak Utara yang merupakan sekolah yang berada di wilayah perkotaan. Hanya sebagian guru-gurunya yang menggunakan google classroom. Kegiatan pertama yang dilakukan pada pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu dalam bentuk pelatihan dengan metode ceramah dilanjutkan dengan Tanya jawab,  diskusi dan praktek penggunaan aplikasi google classroom pada guru-guru SD Negeri 32 Pontianak Utara. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini terdiri: (1) Orientasi kegiatan PKM, yaitu pengenalan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang akan dilakukan kepada Kepala Sekolah dan guru-guru SD Negeri 32 Pontianak Utara. (2) Pelatihan, yaitu kegiatan interaktif dengan masyarakat sasaran untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan, mendiskusikan pemecahan masalah, dan penjelasan materi yang terkait dengan Aplikasi Googe Classroom. Dan (3) Konsultasi atau pembimbingan penggunaan Aplikasi Google Classroom. Adapun hasil PKM ini yakni PKM ini diikuti 11 guru SDN Pontianak Utara, ketercapaian PKM dapat dikatakan terlaksanana secara baik, ini merujuk pada pemehaman guru setelah mengikuti pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi google classroom sebagai media pembelajaran daring. Guru lebih paham cara menggunakan dibandingkan sebelum pelaksanaan pelatihan.

Abstract

This research aims to  analyze  the symbolic meaning of the Tumbang Apam Traditional Tradition of the Malay Tribe of Suhaid Village, Suhaid District, Kapuas Hulu Regency. The type of research used  qualitative with an ethnographic approach. Data collection  used  bservation, interviews and documentation. The stages of data analysis include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification/concluding. The research results show that (1) The process of implementing the Tumbang Apam  Traditional Tradition starts from the preparation stage, implementation, to the closing stage. (2) The symbolic  meaning contained in each stage in the Tumbang Apam Traditional Tradition starting from the preparation stage such as selecting the place, calling, making the Apam cake to making Tumbang Apam, the implementation stage namely plain flour and Penumbangan Apam, the closing stage is reading prayers and eating together. (3) In its preservation, the Tumbang Apam Traditional Tradition has been passed down from generation to generation by traditional leaders in Suhaid Village, Suhaid District who also collaborate with the community there so that the Tumbang Apam Traditional Tradition in Suhaid Village, Suhaid District is still being carried out to this day.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop the Indonesian Prehistoric Virtual Museum as a learning medium for students of the History Education Study Program at FKIP UNTAN. Geographical barriers are one of the reasons why the development of this virtual museum is necessary. This study employs a research and development method that adapts from the Allesi and Trollip model, consisting of the stages of Product Planning, Product Design, Product Development, Product Validation, and Product Testing. Based on the analysis of needs, students require an interactive platform that facilitates access to various types of Indonesian prehistoric collections. Adjustments to the design according to user needs resulted in a virtual museum design that includes features such as: Multiplayer, 3D Object Display, Voice Chat, Text Chat, Character Customization, Profile Customization, Graphic Settings, Audio Settings, Audio Description, Third Person POV, First Person POV, Quiz, and Puzzle. Feasibility testing was conducted through expert validation and group trials with positive results: Media Expert 81%, Content Expert 80 percent, Small Group Test 82 percent, and Large Group Test 81 percent. Based on the results of expert validation and group trials, this museum meets the feasibility requirements as a medium that facilitates access and has features aligned with user needs. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Museum Virtual Praaksara Indonesia sebagai media pembelajaran untuk mahasiswa Prodi Pendididkan Sejarah FKIP UNTAN. Hambatan geografis menjadi salah satu alasan pengembangan museum virtual ini perlu dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang mengadaptasi dari model Allesi and Trollip, yang terdiri dari tahapan Perencanaan Produk, Desain Produk, Pengembangan Produk, Validasi Produk, Uji coba Produk. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan mahasiswa membutuhkan platform interaktif yang memudahkan akses ke berbagai jenis koleksi praaksara Indonesia. Penyesuaian desain terhadap kebutuhan pengguna memperoleh desain museum virtual yange memiliki fitur: Multiplayer, 3D Object Display, Voice Chat, Text Chat, Character Customization, Profile Customization, Graphic Settings, Audio Settings, Audio Settings, Audio Description, Third Person POV, First Person POV, Quiz, dan puzzle. Uji kelayakan dilakukan melalui validasi ahli dan uji coba kelompok dengan hasil positif: Ahli Media 81 persen, Ahli Materi 80 persen, Uji Kelompok Kecil 82 persen, dan Uji Kelompok Besar 81 persen. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli dan uji coba kelompok museum ini memenuhi kelayakan sebagai media yang memudahkan akses dan memiliki fitur-fitur sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna.

Abstract

The Dayak tribe, as a tribe with a large number of sub-ethnic groups and a diverse culture, has one community group that still maintains a tradition passed down through generations of weaving activities, namely the Village Dayak Tribe who live in South Rentap Hamlet. The aim of this research is to determine the value of local wisdom contained in Village Dayak ikat woven fabric motifs. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive-ethnographic approach. Based on the research results, it shows that the process of designing Village Dayak ikat woven cloth motifs is called the ngebat process. Ngebat is a way of designing ikat woven fabric motifs by tying certain parts of several pieces together using neat rope or plastic. The local wisdom values contained in every Dayak Desa ikat woven cloth motif have very strong values and philosophies in the lives of the people in Ensaid Panjang Village. Through the motifs in ikat fabrics, people are taught how we as humans should position ourselves in social life and how we can meet various daily needs. Forms of preserving local wisdom in Dayak Desa ikat woven fabric include promoting it on social media, exhibiting it in museums, having its motifs recorded, selling it and using it at official or unofficial events.
