Abstract

Writing skills may be defined as an activity for delivering messages (communication) by using written language as a medium or device. In the world of education especially in elementary school writing skills are the last of the skills in the process of learning language skills after those of listening, speaking, and reading. Of the four language skills, a student must master, most are experienced by the student with the difficulty of mastering writing skills. Difficulty writing will hinder students from pouring ideas, ideas, and thoughts through the medium. The study is intended to know, analyze, and describe the difficulties experienced by students in writing the speech text in class VI SDN Karodangan class 2020/2021 and create a learning media of animation videos based on difficulties experienced by students. The method used is the method of content analysis aimed at analyzing phenomena based on documents obtained from research. The subject of this study is a document of a student's eulogy. The data-gathering techniques of this study are participant observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results of this study are the students' difficulties in repeating ideas, difficulties in choosing appropriate words/diction, difficulties in shaping themes, and difficulties in completing systemic speech.

Abstract

The background of this research was that Civics Education learning about joint decisions has not achieved satisfactory results and there were still many students who scored below the Minimum Completeness Criteria. Most students had difficulty in understanding the notions of joint decisions and were less active in learning activities so that students had not fully mastered the material of joint decisions. This study aimed to improve students' understanding and learning outcomes about joint decisions by creating a conducive learning situation by applying the discussion method. The subjects of this action research were fifth grade students of State Elementary School of 1 Cikukulu semester II for the 2021/2022 academic year. Research data obtained by means of observation, documentation and field notes. From the analysis of research data, the following conclusions are drawn: 1). The learning planning carried out by the teacher by applying the discussion method can be a guide for the teacher in the implementation of learning so that learning is directed and student activities are guided. 2). The learning process carried out by the teacher by applying the discussion method can increase student activity in participating in learning activities so that students are active in digging up information about learning materials and have implications for increasing students' understanding of learning materials. 3). With the implementation of the discussion method in learning about joint decisions at State Elementary School 1 Cikukulu, it can increase the conduciveness of learning because learning occurs in multiple directions, learning is not focused on the teacher alone, students become active in participating in learning activities.

Abstract

Children aged 5 to 6 years have motor skills based on their level of development. Children's fine motor skills cannot develop by themselves but must be developed and trained regularly. One effort that can improve children's fine motor skills is that it can be done by the teacher using creative and fun media. The media used to improve children's fine motor skills is by making collages. From previous research, patchwork media has been proven to be able to increase the attractiveness of students to create something new with better results. The problem in this study was that the researcher wanted to find out how to increase the ability to stick pictures using patchwork media for group B children at Pertiwi 2 Padas Kindergarten with the aim of research to improve children's ability to stick. The research subjects were conducted in group B with a total of 20 children and an age range between 5 to 6 years. With a total of 9 male students and 11 female students. Data collection was obtained from observation and documentation. From empirical data, the initial conditions for the ability to stick to group B children were at an average percentage of 20 in 1 class of 43.75% with the criteria for Starting to Develop (MB) in cycle I increased to 71.46% with the criteria for Developing According to Expectations (BSH). by taking action using patchwork and increasing in cycle II to 86.67% with the criteria of Very Good Development (BSB). So it can be concluded that patchwork media can increase the ability to stick pictures in group B children in Pertiwi 2 Padas Kindergarten

Abstract

Education functions to empower human potential to preserve positive cultural values, and create changes in a more innovative direction. Early Childhood Education plays an important role in developing children's creativity and skills. Developing children's creativity, especially painting creativity, children can express their imagination and can also learn to control their hands, coordinate their thoughts, eyes and hands, and express themselves through art. along with the development of the era, painting activities developed using unconventional media, one of which was painting with the technique of tasting with bottles. The research conducted was collaborative class-based Classroom Action Research, which is research that is practical, situational and contextual based on problems that arise in daily learning activities in Kindergarten. The research was conducted in 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were group B students of Pertiwi 1 Bonagung Kindergarten with a total of 31 children consisting of 16 boys and 15 girls. By utilizing used bottles, it is hoped that children will be able to improve their understanding of painting. Based on these data it shows that the activities of each cycle the average percentage obtained by children in 1 class has increased, for this reason researchers have been successful and achieved mutually agreed indicators and it is proven that painting with used bottles can increase the creativity of group B children in Pertiwi 1 Kindergarten Bonagung.

Abstract

Technological developments, especially in the field of education, are generally aimed at advancing student motivation to be superior and more advanced in the use of technology so that education will be more advanced. From the statement above, many educators try several technologies to facilitate learning. Likewise in this study which has the aim to determine the effect of applying the PjBL (project-based learning) learning model on learning outcomes in Software and Games Development (PPLG) vocational major in State Vocational School of 1 Wadaslintang. This study used a qualitative approach with observational method. The form of qualitative is taken by observing the activities during practicum class with creativity project. The research sample consisted of 34 students with 14 groups, each group consisting of 2 to 3 students from class XI PPLG 1 as an observational class. Data analysis in this study used an animated video project. Based on the results of data analysis, there were results of student projects with high creativity different in those groups. This result indicated that in learning video making, project-based learning successfully inhibits the learning outcomes and students' creativity. It should be from the mix matching the project-based approach with the alternative activities. This is can be a basis for educators to implement similar approaches for other project-based activities

Abstract

Learning sciences in State Elementary School of 2 Pagerageung had low learning outcomes. This was inseparable from the learning system implemented by the teacher. This was related to the main problem to be answered in this research to what extent a contextual approach improves the science learning outcomes of plant reproduction materials in sixth-grade students of State Elementary School of 2 Pagerageung in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research was Classroom Action Research which is carried out through two cycles, namely, cycle I and cycle II. Each cycle has four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results obtained in this study were an increase in learning outcomes in science sixth-grade plant reproduction material. Through a contextual approach, there was also an increase in learning outcomes that can be seen from the initial conditions from the results of the discussion. The average value of student learning outcomes before the implementation of the action was 19% who have completed fulfilling the KKM, which increased in the first cycle to 65%, then increased again in the second cycle to 85%. The class average also increased from 73.1 to 83.7. Teachers’ activity has increased from cycle I to cycle II, marked by an increase in the average score, namely in the first cycle with an average predicate of good (3.3), then in the second cycle, it increases to a very good predicate (3.6). It can be concluded that a contextual approach can improve science learning outcomes for plant reproduction materials in grade VI students of State Elementary School of 2 Pagerageung, Tasikmalaya Regency in the 2021/2022 academic year.

Abstract

Children's fine motor skills are very important to develop and games can be an alternative. Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Suwatu Kindergarten also needs development because there are still some students who have not developed their fine motor skills optimally. The purpose of this learning improvement is to improve children's fine motor skills through cutting and pasting pictures. This research is in the form of collaborative class action research with actions in the form of cutting and pasting activities. This learning improvement took place at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Suwatu Kindergarten, which was held in April 2019. The research subjects were students of Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Suwatu Kindergarten Group A, where there were 30 students, 20 boys, and 10 girls. Learning improvement activities were carried out in 2 cycles. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation, while technical data analysis used data tabulation. The results achieved in cycle 1 were not maximized so to achieve the indicators that had been determined, the improvement activities were continued in cycle 2. And in the learning improvement activities in cycle 2, the results achieved were very good, as expected and the indicators that had been determined. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that children's fine motor skills can be improved through cutting and pasting pictures.

Abstract

Educators are expected to be able to apply learning models that can motivate students to be more active, responsible, respective and cooperative to others and can improve student learning outcomes. One of the learning models that can be used is the talking stick type cooperative learning model. This research is expected to be able to solve problems related to students' thematic learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the talking stick model and audio visual media on the thematic learning outcomes of students. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with a non equivalent control group design. This study uses a saturated sample technique. The instruments used in this study are tests and non-tests, while data analysis uses simple regression tests and multiple regression tests. The results of the study concluded that there was an effect of the application of the talking stick model and audio media on the thematic learning outcomes of students as well as an increase in N-gain of 0.59 in the "Medium". So it is hoped that the application of the talking stick model and audio-visual media to the thematic learning outcomes can be used as a reference for elementary school class teachers

Abstract

Developing children's creativity, especially painting creativity, children can express their imagination and can also learn to control their hands, coordinate their thoughts, eyes, and hands, and express themselves through art. Children can be as creative as they wish in arranging colors when painting. Based on this background, this research problem can be formulated, namely: "how to increase painting creativity through Cotton Bud media in group B children at TK Pertiwi Karangasem, Tanon District, Sragen Regency?" The research subjects of this class action were carried out in group B with a total of 15 children and an age range between 5.5 to 6 years. With a total of 7 male students and 8 female students. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation and documentation. Based on data from a study on group B children at TK Pertiwi Karangasem, Tanon District, Sragen Regency. Recapitulation of pre-action children's painting creativity, cycle I and cycle II above the average percentage in the pre-cycle of 42.00% with the Starting Development (MB) criteria, in cycle I increased by 70.22% with the Expected Developing criteria (BSH), and in cycle II it experienced an increase of 87.67% with the criteria of Very Good Development (BSB). After seeing the results of the data on children's painting creativity ability above, it can be seen that painting activities using Cotton Buds provide opportunities for children to express their creativity, and put forward ideas in making works that are original according to the wishes of the child. The process of learning activities through painting activities with Cotton Bud media is more interesting and fun for children. The materials used encourage children to express themselves in the form of works made by children.

Abstract

In the phenomenon of the learning process that occurs in the classroom, not infrequently students are given the assumption of being an empty container that is mandatory and can be filled with various teaching materials whatever the teacher wants. There are few teachers who are sensitive and considerate to the feelings or emotions of students even to their readiness in learning, this is contrary to the expectations of the quality of education that occurs. The existence of variations in teaching and learning makes expectations of the quality of education perfect to aspire to. This study intended to explore more deeply the variations in teaching and learning of Islamic Religious Education teachers in order to achieve maximum core competencies at Junior High School of Muhammadiyah 6 Yogyakarta. In this research, the subject is the Islamic Religion teacher, and the information was obtained from other subject teachers. The data was collected by the method of observation, and interviews. Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing become the validity of the data collected. The results of this study indicate that there are 2 variations of teaching and learning in the context of achieving spiritual and social core competencies with the lecture method containing advice and awareness of life. For core competencies, knowledge and skills are carried out with variations in project methods, video analysis, practice, and variations in learning during a pandemic with online learning.
