Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase students' online learning activities by using a problem-based learning model in science subjects with material on diseases attack human respiratory organs in class V MIN 15 Langkat T.A 2019/2020. This type of research is "Classroom Action Research" (CAR). The study was conducted in class V MIN 15 Langkat T.A 2019/2020, totaling 30 students, consisting of 17 boys and 13 girls. This research consists of two cycles and is divided into four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. Data collection technology was carried out by observing teacher and student activities, as well as questionnaires about student learning activities. The results showed that the use of problem-based learning models can improve student learning activities, namely the results of data analysis obtained from the learning activity observation sheet in the first cycle of 30 students, namely there are inactive categories as many as 22 students with a percentage (73%), and active categories. as many as 8 students with a percentage (27%). Then it increased in the second cycle with the inactive category of 1 student with a percentage (1%), and the active category as many as 29 students with a percentage (99%).

Abstract

Higher Order Thingking Skill (HOTS) merupakan salah satu penilaian yang sudah banyak digaungkan pemerintah di abad 21 ini, tidak terkecuali pendidikan tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui prosedur pengembangan soal HOTS matematika untuk siswa kelas IV SD yang telah tervalidasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan desain modifikasi Model Wilson, Oriondo dan Antonio. Prosedur pengembangan meliputi tiga tahap, yakni tahap perancangan, ujicoba tes, dan pengukuran tes. Pada artikel ini dibatasi pada tahap perancangan dan validitas instrument tes. Instrument HOTS matematika dikembangkan dengan soal pilihan ganda beralasan sebanyak 15 butir. Soal dibuat dengan materi pecahan yang diperuntukan untuk siswa kelas IV SD. Pembuktian validitas instrumen HOTS dilakukan oleh 3 orang ahli di bidang matematika dan dilanjutkan dengan perhitungan dengan rumus indeks Aiken V. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa 15 butir soal semuanya valid dengan rerata indeks aiken 0,87. Soal yang telah divalidasi siap untuk diujicobakan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to be able to parse and find problems in scientific literacy activities through online media so that they can be improved and developed further and better in the future. . The research subjects were students of Class V SD Negeri 132415 Tanjungbalai City. The instrument used is a scientific literacy test tool developed by the author with reference to the indicators contained in the development of the TOSLS test. The data collection technique is by observing the activities of teachers and students and a questionnaire containing 20 questions concerning student learning activities. Results of Students' Science Literacy Ability Based on the TOSLS Indicator with Good Category there are 5 indicators, then with Enough Category there are 2 indicators and Poor Category there are 2 indicators. With a total of all categories included in the assessment of “PAIR”

Abstract

This short story or often shortened to a short story is always related to the world's children. Likewise with fairy tales. Whether it is read only for children's own entertainment or also as teaching material for children's language and literature learning at school. There are also those in the children's short stories and fairy tales, which have differences with the criteria in short stories and tales of adolescents as well as adults. In this study, there is a location to describe the themes, plot, characters and backgrounds contained in children's literature in the form of a collection of short stories and tales of Indonesian beverages. This study uses a noninteractive qualitative research approach with content analysis methods. Then for the data procedure technique itself in this study using document analysis. The object in this research is a collection of short stories and tales of Indonesian beverages As for the instrument in this study is the researcher himself. As for analyzing the data, the researcher used the data analysis model of Miles and Huberman. Based on the results of the analysis on the collection of short stories and tales of Indonesian beverages, it has been found that the themes used in the six short stories and the fairy tales in it are the beauty of sharing, friendship, two stories with the same theme, namely love, and there are two more stories that have similar themes. beautiful colors are good. The plot used in the five forward plot stories where in each of the short stories and fairy tales there is no story that is repeated. Then there is one story that has a mixed plot, where in the story there is an event of the character reminiscing about what happened a few days ago. The characters in every short story and fairy tale mean humans, dwarves and fairies. Then for the background contained in each short story and the fairy tale itself about everyday life, namely in the palace, in the forest, at home, in the city, in the village and in a shop. Next, it is hoped that the results of this analysis can become a reference for literary research that analyzes themes, plot, characters and settings. Besides that, it can also be a reference as a teacher's teaching material in teaching short story analysis and fairy tales. Especially for teachers in elementary schools.

Abstract

Technological advancements are inescapable at this point. As we all know, in the technology era, we now have easy access to the internet. Before starting learning activities, an educator should establish a pleasant atmosphere for students, to advoid boredom, tedium, or fear. An educator can tackle this problem by implementing ice-breaking activities before the learning session. One of the technological conveniences that educators can use is the ice-breaking website on the internet, one of which is the Baamboozle website. As a result, the purpose of this article is finds out how to use ice-breaking on the Baamboozle website in learning activities. The author uses a qualitative method in conducting research on the usage of ice-breaking on the Baamboozle website in learning activities. The literature technique is used to obtain data in this article. The literature technique entails a set of procedures that include gathering library data, reading and taking notes, and organizing research resources. The results and discussion suggest that using ice-breaking activities on the Baamboozle website can assist educators in providing the best atmosphere for students to achieve their learning objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the steps effective learning by applying the role-playing learning model, (2) describe the increase in student learning activity in playing the role of economic actors in the role playing model, and (3 describe students' responses to the application of the role-playing learning model. The subjects in this study were class V students, totaling 13 people and teachers who teach in the class. The object of this research is the steps of implementing the role-playing learning model, improving results, and responding students to the application of the role-playing learning model. This research using qualitative research. The method of data collection that used in this study is the method of observation, interview method. The results of this study indicate that from the results of discussions and evaluations of the role-playing activities that have been carried out, students get a very good response to social studies learning. Students are very enthusiastic in doing role playing activities. Although there are some students who have not dared to play their roles, the learning activities went smoothly, and students were actively involved in learning activities.

Abstract

Online learning has limited space and time between teachers and students. To get around these limitations, it is necessary to have a tool to be able to eliminate the dimensions of space and time between teachers and students. These tools are called learning media. Learning Media is everything that can be used to convey messages or information in the teaching and learning process so that it can stimulate students' attention and interest in learning. Learning media is the most important part to be able to make online learning successful, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. learning media by utilizing technology as a solution to online learning problems. based on the author's experience when implementing kampus mengajar in remote areas, it was found that there are still online learning that does not utilize learning media. This research is expected to be a reference in the selection of media when learning online. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The findings of this study are the popular learning media used when online learning, including whatsapp, Google classroom, powerpoint, and youtube. They are often used because they are easily accessible, economical, and effective for online learning.

Abstract

Positive character is a good attitude or behavior that is carried out by someone. To show good behavior, one must instill these values from an early age. If children are used to being bad, it is likely that these attitudes or behaviors will carry over into adulthood, making things that are not good in a person. On the other hand, if children are taught and instilled good behavior from an early age, it is hoped that in the future when they grow up, these behaviors will stick with them. The most prominent positive characters in the story are the attitude of maintaining good manners towards others, carrying out God's commands by being religiously obedient, loving each other to others, loving peace and not liking violence, finally being persistent in one thing to bring us to the goal that is right for us positive. Generally, children need an interesting way of delivery so that the message can be well received, through folklore it is hoped that learning will reach the goal so that teaching and learning activities are carried out properly.

Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran di beberapa sekolah dasar cenderung dianggap membosankan bagi sebagian siswa dikarenakan pembelajarannya terpusat pada guru. Jika guru kurang kreatif dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran dan hanya mengunakan metode ceramah maka pembelajaran dikelas cenderung pasif. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan siswa kurang memiliki keberanian untuk menyampaikan pendapat dan kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif sehingga siswa kurang tertarik terhadap pembelajaran yang disampaikan oleh guru dan mengakibatkan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa yang ditandai dengan nilai dibawah KKM. Penerapan metode atau model pembelajaran yang tepat dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Salah satu model pembelajaran kooperatif learning tipe TGT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian literatur terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif learning tipe TGT (Teams Games Tournament) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di sekolah dasar. Penggunaan metode pada penelitian ini adalah metode SLR (Systematic Literature Review). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan dan meriview artikel yang berkaitan dengan pembelajaran cooverative learning Tipe TGT yang diterbitkan pada kurun waktu 2017-2021. Artikel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 3 artikel jurnal yang diperoleh dari database Google Schooler. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini bahwa menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT (Teams Games Tournament) dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar dapat meningkatkan aktifitas siswa, motivasi siswa dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Pengembangan media pembelajaran merupakan bentuk kreativitas dan peningkatan inovasi siswa dalam mengembangkan kognitif dan motorik pada siswa Sekolah Dasar. Hal ini pun sebagai upaya melindungi bumi dari sampah yang tidak ditangani dengan bijak sehingga menimbulkan dampak buruk bagi penghuni bumi dan masyarakat sekitar. Media pembelajaran yang diberikan memiliki daya cipta yang inovatif dan memiliki daya pengembangan kreativitas yang baik. Siswa diharapkan mampu menciptakan berbagai media interaktif dari setiap barang bekas yang digunakan dan sehingga mampu membantu dalam memudahkan pemahaman pada pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan. Hal ini menjadi bahan pengalaman baik bagi peserta didik dalam memperoleh pengetahuan luas. Analisis dokumen pada pendekatan kualitatif menjadi metode yang peneliti gunakan dalam proses penelitian ini, dimana pada prosesnya terdapat pengumpulan data, pengolahan data, pengorganisasian data serta memilih dan memilah data yang akan dianalisis pada penelitian kali ini. Banyaknya bahan pembelajaran dikelas yang terbengkalai menjadi hal yang ironis dan tentunya hal ini perlu adanya pembaharu yang melibatkan siswa agar selain terpecahkan masalah yang ada dikelas juga mampu menimbulkan rasa empati siswa pada lingkungan dan ruangan kelas tempat dimana mereka belajar yang seharusnya nyaman digunakan. Pada pemanfataan ini aspek yang diharapkan yaitu bentuk kreativitas siswa, bentuk kepedulian siswa pada lingkungan sekitar dan bentuk kerja sama dengan temannya.
