Abstract

Corona virus disease 2019 (Covid-19) and its rapid spread pushes all of us to live in a condition known as new normal. The government’s advice to work, study, and pray at home is indeed to creating a new system on the education field in Indonesia. Distance learning becomes an alternative solution to apply during the pandemic. However, there are still many teachers in Indonesia who are not familiar with distance learning sytem, because of implementing the teaching strategies, may be successful with sufficient creativity needed by the teachers to design the learning. In this case, this study aims to develop a mathematics learning media. “FunMath” is developed by using Thiagarajan modification development consisting of define, design, and development. Based on the validation results of media and material experts, the “FunMath” application is feasible with the score of 88.5 for media validation and 95 for material validation. The positive response also comes from the primary school students who completed the questionnaire distributed in Sumenep while learning at home or school with 83.8%, resulting a very good category. “FunMath” is considerably compatible as an alternative to provide ease for teachers, students, and parents, in guiding them to study at home during the pandemic.

Abstract

IPA merupakan mata pelajaran yang sangat erat kaitannya pada kehidupan manusia, pada pembelajaran IPA harus dapat memanfaatkan sumber daya yang ada dilingkungan sekitar sehingga membuat siswa mudah memahami pelajaran yang disampaikan karena erat kaitannya dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. penggunaan alat bekas dapat digunakan dalam pelajaran IPA seperti kaleng susu dapat digunakan sebagai alat media pembelajaran untuk mengetahui gelombang bunyi yang dihasilkan oleh tali dan kaleng yang diletakan ke kuping sebagai alat komunikasi pada zaman dulu. Gelombang yang dirambatkan membutuhkan medium perantara. Gelombang bunyi misalnya, tidak dapat kita dengar bila tidak ada medium perantara. Demikian pula tanpa adanya tali, maka tidak mungkin ada gelombang yang merambat. Pada tali dengan tegangan semakin besar, gelombang akan merambat dengan kecepatan rambat yang semakin besar pula. Telepon kaleng dengan menggunakan tali lebih jelas terdengar dibandingkan dengan kawat hal ini terbukti dari hasil percobaan yang telah dilakukan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of the think-pair-share (TPS) learning model can increase the activities and learning outcomes of elementary school students' PPKN. This was done because before using the think-pair-share (TPS) learning model there was a score gap between students who received high scores and students who scored below the KKM, namely 70. This type of research was a quasi-experimental study, totaling 24 students. The instrument for collecting data on learning outcomes of PPKn using learning outcomes tests and the instrument for collecting data on learning activities is observation sheets. The results showed that the class average initial ability test score was only 57.5 with class completeness of 20.83% and students who scored ≥ 70 were 5 students. In the implementation of the pretest, the class average score was 67.91 and grade completeness 45.83% and students who obtained a value> 70 were 11 students. Furthermore, in the posttest there was an increase in the class average to 75.20 and class completeness to 83.33% (an increase of 37.5%) and students who obtained a grade of> 70 were 20 students. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the TPS learning model can improve the activities and learning outcomes of PPKn class V SD Negeri 105269 Sei Beras Sekata

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether there is a significant and positive impact of learning kinesthetic intelligence rhythmic gymnastics against a kid u worth 4-5 t cope in kindergarten Methodist El - Sadday Perbaungan. The child has not been able to perform basic movements according to the stage of development. When the child was told to lift one foot still many children who had fallen, the child was still confused when asked to lift the right leg and left foot alternately subsequent children are still disturbing fellow n yes when activity gymnastics . The research method used is a quasy experimental study with a One Group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were children aged 5-6 years with a sample of 13 children. The research technique used was observation with the kinesthetic intelligence rubric and documentation, with treatment procedures at the initial stage, the treatment stage and the final stage. So the conclusion from the results of this study is that there is a positive and significant effect of learning rhythmic gymnastics on the kinesthetic intelligence of children aged 4-5 years at the El Shadday Perbaungan Methodist Kindergarten. The level of kinesthetic intelligence of children who are given a higher education level is higher than that of children who are not treated. This can be seen from the pre-test average score of 5.76 in the low category or still on progress, while the post-test average score of 13.8 is high or has progressed as expected. In addition, based on the results of the t test, it is known that t count > t table (3.4035 > 2.160), it can be stated that Ha rejected and Ho accepted

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has a direct impact on the transformation of the implementation of education from face-to-face into Learning From Home (LFH). Various surveys and studies show many limitations on it, ranging from issues of zoom fatigue, socio-economics, to student interest in learning. The learning implementation guide published by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture has not helped overcome problems in LFH. This descriptive qualitative research describes the use of board games in science learning for primary students. The research method used surveys and in-depth interviews with 20 students, 10 parents and 5 primary teachers. The results showed a positive response to solve the LFH problem, especially in zoom fatigue, increasing socio-economic aspects between student-parent-teachers and fostering interest in learning. Thus, board games can be an alternative media for learning science in elementary schools.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran ini bertujuan untuk memperluas wawasan guru tentang media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan informasi (IT). Hal ini tidak terlepas dari dari pentingnya media dalam penanaman pemahaman materi kepada siswa.Powtoon merupakan nama sebuah aplikasi berbasis IT yang berguna untuk membuat video animasi kartun secara ringkas dan bebas bayar. Media ini mampu membuat siswa lebih mudah menerima materi karena materi terlihat lebih menarik. Kelebihan media Powtoon adalah adanya fitur animasi yang beragam serta efek transisinya lebih menggugah. Selain itu, pengaturan timeline pada aplikasi dapat dianggap lebih mudah dibandingkan aplikasi-aplikasi lain yang sejenis

Abstract

Pembelajaran merupakan salah satu aktifitas yang berlangsung di sekolah dasar serta merupakan pendukung bagi seorang guru yang sadar akan tujuan atau kompetensi dasar disamping standar kompetensi yang dapat di rumuskan dan di tetapkan sebelum berlangsungnya proses pembelajaran yang termuat dengan jelas pada silabus. Salah satu masalah terbesar dalam proses pembelajaran yang banyak di pertimbangkan adalah rendahnya mutu pembelajaran yang tercermin dari rendahnya rata-rata prestasi belajar yang diperoleh pada mata pelajaran. Media pendidikan merupakan suatu alat atau perantara yang berguna untuk memudahkan proses belajar mengajar, dalam rangka mengefektifkan komunikasi antara guru dan murid. Salah satu media yang di gunakan dalam pembelajaran yaitu dengan menggunakan gambar. Gambar merupakan suatu media visual yang hanya bisa dilihat saja.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic had a major impact in almost all countries, including Indonesia. Especially in the world of education, Covid-19 was also affected. The government issued a policy that requires every school to stop teaching and learning activities directly to minimize the spread of the dangerous Covid-19. This research was motivated by the researchers' curiosity about the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the effectiveness of student learning. The difference in learning methods that usually take place in class and face-to-face by the teacher, during the Covid-19 pandemic, teaching and learning was changed to online learning. Where teachers and students cannot study offline as usual in the classroom. The method used is interviews to find out the opinions of students, parents, and teachers. The results of interviews with students, namely students better understand learning when at school because the material at school will be delivered by the teacher. The results of interviews with the parents of students, namely when the students were at home, the parents could not always accompany them, because the parents had jobs that could not be left behind. The results of the teacher interview, namely the teacher explained that not all students have electronic devices that support learning, then the teacher applies thestrategy home visit (direct visits to students) or group study which is held once a week by paying attention to and implementing applicable health regulations

Abstract

Along with the spread of COVID-19 where physical contact is limited, social interactions have shifted from offline to online, all forms of activity have become digitalized. The development of professionalism of educators is one of the fields that should not be hampered by physical or social restrictions. The educational process continues and requires educators to become more competent in their fields. So far, many studies, research, and literature discuss various things about what needs to be done to support the student learning process, however, publications that discuss teacher professional development are still minimal. A search of various teacher training models leads to a discussion of the peer coaching method, which is a professional development model that can be used to develop the teaching process. Peer coaching requires teachers to reflect on their teaching practices, share what works and useful suggestions, as well as learn from or with colleagues, both seniors and beginners, to establish collaborative and professional relationships to discuss various problems and challenges related to teaching. in the new normal era. This study exposed the result of conducting peer coaching models for professional development of teachers in new normal era and it’s further applicability based on benefits obtained by the teachers. Data was analyzed using qualitative inquiry, described descriptively and discussed based on the theory and experiences of both coach and coachee. According to the results of this study, peer coaching was found to be an prospective tool for professional development of teachers in K-6 Grade particularly in the new normal era, because it offers teachers with the opportunity to be involved in a small group of people, obtaining new skills for teaching practices, assures self-reflection, sharing experience, and mutual growth among members

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of guided inquiry learning model toward student learning outcomes at adaptation of living things of elementary school. The first group taught by using guided inquiry learning and the second group taught by conventional models. Data were analyzed with t-test of significant level α = 0.05. The result of the research shows that the result of t-test analysis ( analisis uji–t) is t-hitung bigger than ttabel (t-hitung 4,193 > t-tabel 2,145) with 5% significant level, this means there is significant difference of IPA learning result between student which is taught by guided inquiry learning models assisted concept mapping with students who were taught by direct instruction model. The results show that there is no influence of guided inquiry learning models on student learning outcomes
