Abstract

One of the educational problems faced today is that it has not succeeded in realizing a culture of literacy. Weak reading skills, perhaps this is because education still emphasizes aspects of routine skills and mere memorization. So, a learning model is needed that can facilitate students to have a literacy culture. To overcome this problem, it was developed through the Read-Answer-Discuss-Explain-and-Create (RADEC) learning model. This study aims to describe the improvement of students' literacy culture through the implementation of the Read-Answer-Discuss-Explain-and- Create (RADEC) learning model. The research method used is a Quasi-Experimental Research One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design with the research subjects of 26 fifth grade students of Pondoksari Sukaresik State Elementary School, Tasikmalaya, West Java, Indonesia. The results showed that literacy culture can be improved through the implementation of the RADEC learning model of 5.1.

Da'wah is absolute as the duty of a Muslim. The goal is to bring others to better things. To achieve that goal, one must pay attention to how one communicates da'wah. The science of preaching must begin to be given from an early age. Later, children can become a person who can preach by Islamic Sharia. Based on this, this study aims to introduce da'wah early on, especially in elementary school-aged children. If taught early on, children can make da'wah a good habit when they grow up. Over time, da'wah is considered a difficult thing to do. Therefore, it is very important to instill religious values in children so that later they become a generation with commendable morals. In introducing da'wah to children, several ways can be done. One of them, using Android-based application media. Like our product, namely RuBer PAI application or Ruang Belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam. In this study, the authors used the Design and Development (DD) method.

Abstract

ABSTRAKIn their intellectual development, elementary school students are at the concrete thinking stage. Everything that the teacher conveys must be realistic and can develop all the abilities that exist in children. There needs to be a solution, namely by using flashcard image media. In particular, graphics also function to attract attention, clarify presentation of ideas, illustrate or decorate facts that would be quickly forgotten or ignored if not graphically. Flashcards are very suitable for practicing spontaneous speaking skills by using certain sentence patterns so that learning objectives will be achieved optimally, especially in student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The inability of students to divide material into fractions for mathematics subjects is the background for research on the effect of the Example Non-Example learning model on mathematical abilities in class II student fractions. This research uses a quantitative approach, the Quasi-Experimental Design method. The result of the research is that there is an influence of the Example Non-Example learning model on the mathematical ability of fraction material for second grade elementary school students. It has been proven that there is an influence from the Example Non Example learning model used in the experimental class on the ability to divide fractional material as seen from the t-test results.

Abstract

Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) is one part of the National Assessment (AN). The Minimum Competency Assessment focuses on two aspects of basic competence, namely reading literacy and numeracy literacy. Reading literacy does not only refer to students' reading ability, but also refers to students' reasoning power and critical thinking power. While numeracy literacy refers to the ability to think using concepts, procedures and facts to solve problems faced by student. One of the obstacles experienced in implementing this assessment program is the lack of readiness of elementary school teachers to face the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM). Teachers need the right strategy to implement the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM). Therefore, researchers conducted a study that aims to help teachers in overcoming these problems. This study aims to motivate elementary school teachers regarding the strategies used in dealing with the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM).

Abstract

One effort to make it easier for students to understand thematic material is to include the content of their own local wisdom in learning. Unfortunately, at this time, there are no accompanying textbooks that contain local wisdom content. The purpose of this research and development is to produce a complementary textbook product based on Bangkalan local wisdom that is valid, effective, and practical to improve students' cognitive outcomes. This research procedure uses a 10-step design from Borg and Gall. The results of expert validation of the developed textbooks were 86%, while the validation from practitioners was 93%, each indicating that the products developed were classified as very valid and feasible to use. The effectiveness of the product is seen from the classical learning outcomes that is equal to 100%, indicating complete and effective learning. The practicality of the product is assessed from the average value of the student and teacher questionnaire responses, which is 93% and the observation of the implementation of teacher and student learning with the results of 94%, each of which shows very practical criteria. The results of the study indicate that the companion textbook product based on Bangkalan local wisdom that was developed is very valid, effective, and practical so that it is suitable for use in classroom learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of low mathematics learning achievement, students who are slow in reading, writing or calculating will make the learning process ineffective which will cause problems that cannot be solved. The main purpose of this study was to determine the effect before and before the application of the RWC Book learning media and to find out how much influence the RWC Book learning media had. The research method used in this study is quantitative, the type of method used is the Pre-Experimental method. The survey design used in this survey is One Group Pretest-Posttest. The results of this study indicate a significant influence on student achievement. this is evident from the results of calculations that show the results of the t test obtained Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 0.05, it can be said that there is an average influence on student learning achievement for the Experiment Class Pre Test with the Experiment Class Post Test after being given treatment.
