Abstract

This study aims to improve students' science process skills through the children learning in the science model in class IV. This research method uses classroom action research. The CAR was carried out for 2 cycles, each consisting of 2 learning meetings with one friend and one learning implementation plan. The subject of this research is class IV SDN 1 Kritig totaling 21 students consisting of 11 female and 10 male students. This research data collection tool uses science process skills tests, student activity observation sheets, and teacher activity observation sheets. The results of this CAR show that learning using the children learning in the science model can improve science process skills in grade IV SDN 1 Kritig. Students experienced an increase in each cycle in the first cycle, obtaining a total score of 23.76 with an average of 2.97 poor criteria. In contrast, in the second cycle, they obtained a total score of 36.96 with an average of 4.62 obtaining very good criteria.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the implementation of SD Preneur at SD Muhammadiyah Cipete Cilongok after the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses qualitative research methods with descriptive design. Collecting data in this study using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The data analysis procedure goes through data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing and verification. The validity of the data is using triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. The results show that to improve the welfare of school residents, SD Muhammadiyah Cipete is not enough to organize entrepreneurship conventionally but also implement entrepreneurship with the SD-Preneur model. The SD-Preneur model entrepreneur is the principal as person in charge. The implementer, namely the principal and SD Preneur at SD Muhammadiyah Cipete, Cilongok, has taken the form of BUMS or School-Owned Enterprises.

Abstract

AbstractThe learning video medium is one of the audiovisual media that presents audio and visual to help the teaching-learning process and achieve learning objectives. This research aimed to describe the teachers' skills in making and utilizing learning video media inSD Muhammadiyah Cipete using a qualitative approach. The participants included the first to sixth-grade teachers, students, and the school principal. The data were collected using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that all teachers were able to make and utilize learning video media to help deliver learning materials during online learning. This research concluded that teachers should have a good skill in using information technology to make and use video learning media. They could join a training about making, editing, and accessing the learning video to improve their skills.

Abstract

Facing an increasingly complex and dynamic world, mastering High Order Thinking Skills is a must and is still a challenge for the world of education. This classroom action research aims to improve the high-level thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Mandiraja Wetan through the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The subjects of this study were all fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Mandiraja Wetan. Data collection techniques using tests, non-tests, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data used technical triangulation, and the collected data was then analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques, including data collection, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the use of the PBL model can improve the high-level thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Mandiraja Wetan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of audio-visual assisted PBL on the critical thinking of grade V elementary school students in science subjects at MI Muhammadiyah 5 Surabaya. This research uses Quantitative research methods with the type of research used, namely pre-experimental research (Pre-experiment). The design used by researchers is the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design with one class as the subject of research. Data analysis techniques in this study are a normality test and one sample T-test using the one sample test method with the help of SPSS. The results showed that the data analysis of one sample T-test using the one sample T technique shows a significance value of 0.05 at 0.0 00. So it can be concluded that the audio-visual assisted PBL model affects the critical thinking skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is currently demanded to be even better about what students have received. The researcher made this article to provide a new idea related to learning natural sciences in general. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive model. On this occasion, the researcher only got a number of learning models that can be described based on the results of observations that have been made, namely the lecture learning model by providing material orally and in practice, but only in the environment around the school. Through the results of the observations that have been made, it can be seen that science learning is real or factual learning about the universe and everything in it.

Abstract

This research is to analyze the Role of Reading Corner on Student Literacy at SD Negeri 238 Palembang. The subjects used were grade 2 students. This study used a qualitative descriptive method of observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Reading Corner has a very important role in the development of Student Literacy. Reading is an important activity in the teaching and learning process, because reading is the ability to transfer knowledge through text or reading material. Reading corner activities are carried out as an effort to increase students' interest in reading which is applied as a habit and aims to develop a culture of literacy in schools through reading corner activities. Through the Reading Corner, students can add extensive knowledge and insight through reading in the Reading Corner. The Reading Corner is placed in the corner of each class, which contains several fairy tale books or story books, etc. Students can read in the Reading Corner during their free time.

Abstract

Reflection in learning is one of the most important activities for both prospective teachers and teachers. The existence of reflection makes an improvement in how he should teach, finds real problems and ways to overcome them, and reviews methods, models, and approaches that are appropriate to the conditions of students. The purpose of this study was to find out the results of reflection on the implementation of teaching practices by researchers as part of the process of implementing English learning courses in elementary schools. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of this study show that the learning process in class IV at SDN 1 Cigembor runs smoothly according to the lesson plans. The implication of this research is that the practice of teaching English in elementary schools can train and hone the abilities of prospective teachers so that they can prepare themselves to become real teachers so that they become real images for subsequent teaching.

Abstract

The rise of problems related to environmental issues makes it urgent to inculcate the character of caring for the environment from an early age. Various programs and initiatives have been launched to create a sustainable environment. One program that has attracted much attention to study is the Adiwiyata program. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Adiwiyata program in cultivating the character of caring for the environment at SDN Bayangkari, Serang City. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data validity uses triangulation of sources and techniques. The collected data were then analyzed using qualitative techniques, including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Implementing adiwiyata at SDN Bhayangkari, Serang City is carried out through habituation activities, integration in learning, and extracurricular activities.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the limitations of learning media used by teachers in the learning process at MI Hamka Kalibeber. The research approach used in quantitative with a Pre-Experimental model in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The total population in this study was 20 students and all of them were used as samples. The results of this study indicate that the use of pop-up book media in learning can be effective, this is evidenced by the N-Gain test score of 0.664 and the caculation of the effect size test of 79.62. The use of pop-up media is proven to improve learning achievement, this is evidenced by an increase in the average pre-test of 50.00 and post-test of 83.25. Thus there is an increase of 33.25. This study’s results are expected to benefit teachers, students, and further researchers.
