Abstract

The problem that is often experienced by children aged 1-5 years is that it will become difficult to eat. Difficulty eating conditions is a problem in providing food as an effort to meet nutritional intake in children and toddlers. One of the causes of children having difficulty eating is digestive problems. Vomiting, spilling food and brushing off bites are symptoms of a child not having an appetite. One of the actions to overcome children who do not have an appetite is by doing Tui Na Massage. Tui Na massage is a massage technique to overcome eating difficulties in toddlers by improving blood circulation in the spleen and digestion. This type of research is a Pre-Experimental Design with One Group Pretest-Postest Design, namely by comparing 1 group with 2 treatments, namely observing the frequency of appetite for toddlers before and after being given Tui Na massage. The sample in this study were toddlers who met the inclusion criteria as many as 20 toddlers. The results of statistical tests obtained p-value of 0.000 so it can be concluded that Tui Na massage is effective for overcoming the problem of difficult eating in toddlers. The frequency of eating in toddlers increases after the Tui Na massage. Parents are expected to apply Tui Na massage once a day for 6 consecutive days on their toddlers to overcome appetite problems so that toddler growth and development can be achieved optimally.

Abstract

Coding is the assignment of codes by using letters in numbers that represent data components. Activities and actions as well as diagnoses contained in the medical record must be coded and then indexed to facilitate services in presenting information to support the functions of planning, management and research in the health sector. This study aims to determine the application of the 4th character code to the diagnosis of Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus (IDDM) based on ICD 10 in inpatient medical records at RSAU dr Siswanto Lanud Adi Soemarmo in 2020. The research method uses descriptive. The approach used is retrospective with observation and interview data collection. The sample used was 117 inpatient medical record documents with a diagnosis of Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus (IDDM) with a sampling technique using saturated samples. The procedure for implementing the coding is not yet in accordance with the SPO and the SPO for the application of the 4th character code does not yet exist. The accuracy of the application of the 4th character code in the diagnosis of Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus (IDDM) was 57% (67 documents) and 43% (50 documents) incorrectly due to an error in selecting the 4th character code. The factors causing the 4th character code inaccuracy based on ICD 10, namely medical personnel factors and medical record personnel (coder). Researchers suggest that hospitals should socialize to medical personnel about writing a diagnosis, this will minimize errors in the 4th character code. Coder officers should be more careful in coding and check again on ICD 10 volume 1 to provide the right code.

Abstract

Elderly is an age that is vulnerable to a problem, both economic, health, psychological and social problems. Anxiety is a psychological problem faced by the elderly in their life experiences. Anxiety has a range of responses, namely adaptive to maladaptive responses. Quality of life is thought to be one of the problems that exist in the elderly, including anxiety. Anxiety is a psychological problem faced by the elderly in their life experiences. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between anxiety and quality of life in the elderly. This study uses quantitative methods with descriptive correlation. The approach used is cross-sectional. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a sample of 37 respondents. Analysis of the data in this study using Spearman rank. The results in this study showed that most of the anxiety in the elderly was in the category of severe anxiety as much as 17 (42.5%). The quality of life in the elderly is mostly good as many as 16 (40.0%). There is a relationship between anxiety and quality of life in the elderly with a correlation value of -0.413, the relationship between variables in the moderate category, with a p value of 0.011. The conclusion of this study shows that there is a relationship between anxiety and quality of life in the elderly. The relationship between the categorical variables is the opposite, the higher the anxiety, the lower the quality of life, this is because the average elderly experience severe anxiety even though their quality of life is good.
