Abstract

This international community service activity represents a concrete form of educational diplomacy, positioning academic engagement as a medium for the exchange of knowledge, values, and culture between nations. Unlike locally oriented programs, international-based service initiatives facilitate direct interaction among educational institutions, lecturers, university students, and secondary school students from diverse cultural backgrounds. This activity was conducted at MAN 9 East Jakarta on October 20, 2025, by lecturers and students from Universitas Krisnadwipayana in collaboration with the Embassy of the Russian Federation. The program involved all students of MAN 9 East Jakarta as participants. The service method was implemented in three main stages: pre-activity preparation, activity implementation, and post-activity evaluation. The program focused on introducing the Russian language, culture, and education system through interactive presentations and discussions. The results indicate a significant increase in students’ understanding of Russian studies, as reflected in their enthusiasm and active participation throughout the sessions. Direct engagement with international academic representatives provided a meaningful global learning experience and stimulated students’ interest in pursuing higher education and international collaboration. Institutionally, this initiative strengthened the role of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Krisnadwipayana, as a facilitator of internationally oriented community service and reinforced sustainable cooperation with Ural State Pedagogical University. Student involvement also contributed to the development of organizational and intercultural competencies.

Abstract

The leadership of student organizations (OSIS) is often confined to formal and technical aspects, creating a gap in emotional intelligence development and increasing the risk of unhealthy organizational dynamics such as groupthink and blind loyalty. This community service program aimed to strengthen the leadership capacity of OSIS members at Pah Tsung School, Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia, through the cultivation of organizational loyalty integrated with human values and empathy. The program involved 29 participants, consisting of 28 OSIS student members and 1 OSIS advisor teacher. A participatory training approach was employed through four main stages: needs identification, module development incorporating case studies, interactive workshops, and comprehensive evaluation. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of healthy organizational loyalty and empathy-based leadership. Evaluation data from 28 student participants showed a high level of program effectiveness, with an average score of 3.4 out of 4.0. Participants particularly appreciated the clarity of material delivery (3.50) and its relevance to real organizational challenges (3.46). Beyond increasing knowledge, the program produced practical outcomes in the form of enhanced critical thinking, greater awareness of the importance of balancing organizational commitment with empathy, and the establishment of a more humane student leadership framework. This initiative contributes to the development of student leaders who are not only organizationally responsible but also emotionally intelligent and capable of fostering healthy organizational cultures.

Abstract

This community service (PKM) activity was conducted to address the limited public awareness regarding the economic and health benefits of ginger plants, particularly as a productive investment opportunity. Ginger, as a widely available medicinal plant, has significant potential to be developed into a sustainable small-scale business. Therefore, this program aimed to increase community understanding and motivation to utilize ginger cultivation as a source of income and entrepreneurship. The PKM was carried out at the Pamulang Orphanage Foundation, South Tangerang, on April 18, 2026. The activity involved six lecturers from Pamulang University and was attended by 26 participants, consisting of children and teachers. The implementation methods included material presentation, hands-on practice, interactive discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. The program was conducted in three stages: preparation, implementation, and reporting. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ knowledge and interest in ginger cultivation and its economic value. Participants were actively engaged and demonstrated enthusiasm during practical sessions. They gained insights into simple cultivation techniques and business opportunities related to ginger-based products. In conclusion, this PKM activity successfully enhanced community awareness and provided practical knowledge on utilizing ginger as a productive investment.

Abstract

This community service activity (PKM) is motivated by the need to improve community welfare through sustainable small-scale agribusiness while integrating professional accounting ethics. Many communities, including orphanages, have limited knowledge of ethical financial management and business development, which can hinder the growth and sustainability of their economic activities. Therefore, this program aims to enhance participants’ understanding of accounting professional ethics and its application in developing a water spinach (kangkung) cultivation business. The PKM was conducted at a foundation for orphans in Pamulang, South Tangerang, on April 19, 2026. The activity involved five lecturers from Universitas Pamulang and was attended by 24 participants, consisting of children and teachers from the foundation. The implementation methods included material presentation, hands-on practice, discussion, and question-and-answer sessions. The stages of the activity consisted of preparation, implementation, and reporting. The results of the activity indicate an increased understanding among participants regarding ethical financial practices and improved skills in cultivating and managing a small-scale kangkung business. Participants showed enthusiasm and active engagement throughout the program, suggesting the effectiveness of the applied methods.

Abstract

The marketing of citrus fruit products in local communities faces challenges related to limited promotion strategies and low consumer awareness which impact sales performance and community welfare especially in small scale community based agricultural marketing in rural settings contexts. Objective: This community service program aims to develop effective citrus fruit marketing strategies to increase sales and improve the welfare of the community through training and community engagement activities and sustainable development goals. Methods: The PKM activity was conducted at the Pamulang Orphan and Yatim Foundation in South Tangerang on April 11, 2026, involving five lecturers from Universitas Pamulang and 23 participants consisting of children and teachers from the orphanage foundation using presentation practice discussion and question and answer methods through preparation implementation and reporting stages and interactive evaluation to ensure effective understanding with pre and post evaluation assessments of knowledge gain results. Results: The program increased participants' understanding of marketing concepts and practical skills in promoting citrus products fostering enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and contributing to potential improvements in sales and community welfare leading to increased motivation among participants demonstrating improved marketing awareness practical application skills in real contexts.

Abstract

The utilization of salak fruit has potential to increase farmers' income and improve compliance with final income tax obligations in Indonesia especially rural farmers in processing local agricultural commodities. This community service program aims to enhance knowledge and skills of participants regarding value-added salak processing and tax awareness and strengthening awareness of tax obligations among informal sector communities. Methods: The PKM activity was conducted at Yayasan Yatim dan Piatu Pamulang, South Tangerang, on April 11, 2026, involving five lecturers from Universitas Pamulang and 23 participants consisting of children and teachers as part of community empowerment program. Activities were implemented through presentation practical training group discussion and question-and-answer sessions following preparation implementation and reporting stages to improve understanding and participation in collaborative learning. Results showed increased understanding of salak-based product development improved awareness of income generation opportunities and enhanced understanding of final tax compliance among participants in supporting household economy of participants families through improved value addition practices. The program also strengthened engagement between lecturers and community members particularly children and teachers of the orphanage foundation and provided practical insights into small-scale entrepreneurship opportunities based on local resources approach.

Abstract

This community service program was initiated in response to the need to enhance community economic resilience through sustainable agricultural practices. Limited utilization of residential land and lack of knowledge about integrated cultivation systems have hindered local economic potential. Therefore, this program aimed to empower the community through carrot cultivation integrated with economic improvement strategies. The activity was conducted on April 11, 2026, at Pamulang Permai Housing, West Pamulang, South Tangerang. The program involved 10 lecturers from Universitas Pamulang and was attended by 20 local residents. The implementation methods included lectures, hands-on practice, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. The program was carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and reporting. The results showed an increase in participants’ knowledge and skills in carrot cultivation, including land preparation, planting, maintenance, and harvesting techniques. Participants also gained insights into simple business strategies and product value enhancement. Enthusiasm and active participation indicated the program’s positive reception, with potential for sustainable application to support household income. In conclusion, this program successfully contributed to community empowerment by integrating agricultural practices with economic development, fostering both self-sufficiency and entrepreneurship among residents.

Abstract

Food security remains a critical issue, particularly in urban areas where limited land availability restricts agricultural activities. One practical solution is the cultivation of fast-growing vegetables such as mustard greens (sawi), which can be grown in small spaces using simple techniques. This community service program aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of local residents, especially women, in cultivating mustard greens as an alternative strategy to strengthen household food security. The program was conducted at Pamulang Permai Housing, West Pamulang, South Tangerang, on April 11, 2026. It was implemented by 10 lecturers from Pamulang University and involved 20 participants from the local PKK women’s group. The methods used included lectures, hands-on practice, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. The implementation followed three main stages: preparation, execution, and reporting. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of mustard green cultivation techniques and their ability to apply these practices independently at home. Participants showed high enthusiasm during practical activities and demonstrated readiness to utilize limited yard space for food production. This activity contributed positively to increasing awareness of household-level food security and promoting sustainable urban farming practices.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the financial literacy of housewives in managing household finances wisely in order to enhance family welfare. The main problems faced by the community include low financial knowledge, lack of cash flow recording habits, consumptive behavior, and dependence on informal loans. This activity was conducted in RW 01, Cinangka Village, Sawangan District, Depok City, involving 20 housewives as participants. The methods used were counseling, training, and mentoring through direct interaction. The materials covered basic financial management, budgeting, income and expenditure recording, debt management, as well as emergency fund and basic investment planning. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding and awareness of the importance of financial literacy, along with their ability to prepare and implement simple household financial records. In addition, there was a positive change in participants’ mindset in distinguishing between needs and wants, as well as in making financial decisions. Therefore, this activity contributes to strengthening family economic resilience and promoting sustainable household welfare.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) focuses on education regarding spinach processing as a healthy food source in contemporary society, especially for households. Spinach is widely available but its utilization in daily diets remains limited despite its high nutritional value in Indonesia. The objective of this activity is to increase community knowledge and skills in processing spinach into nutritious food products through community training. The PKM was conducted at Pamulang Permai Housing, Pamulang Barat, South Tangerang on April 11, 2026, involving 10 lecturers from Universitas Pamulang and 20 PKK women participants through preparation, implementation, and reporting stages with coordinated team planning, active community involvement, and structured program execution to ensure effective outcomes and sustainability of activities results. The implementation used presentation, hands-on practice, discussion, and question-and-answer sessions, following preparation, implementation, and reporting stages to enhance understanding supported by practical demonstrations and interactive learning media that encouraged participant engagement and motivation improvement. The results showed increased understanding and enthusiasm among participants in processing spinach into various healthy food innovations and practical skills. Participants were able to apply simple processing techniques and showed interest in continuing healthy food practices at home in future.
