Abstract

As technological developments become more advanced, more and more universities are emerging with computer technology-based study programs. One of them is the Computer Science (Software Engineering) Study Program at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT). In this study program, students gain several skills and one of them is the ability to carry out data analysis, where these skills have great opportunities in work and business. In running a business, participants need to gain knowledge of management and financial management both in theory and practice, so that the data analysis business they run can achieve profits. Pamulang University and UMT have collaborated in the field of Tridharma of Higher Education with number: 041033/MOU/2021/4158. Based on this, Pamulang University and UMT carry out Community Service (PkM) activities. In this activity, participants gain insight into the key to success in running a data analysis business as well as skills in making simple financial report books consisting of: cash book, income statement and balance sheet.

Abstract

Social contribution is one of the Independent Student Exchange programs in the Nusantara module course which is carried out at the end of the Nusantara module activities. This Social Contribution Contribution was carried out at the Attafakur Orphanage which aims to build the spirit of the orphanage children in making their dreams and aspirations come true. In the implementation method there are three stages, namely opening, implementation and closing. It is hoped that the results of implementing this social contribution activity will provide enthusiasm to realize their respective dreams.

Abstract

Increasing Human Resources Towards MSME Independence through Quality Education in Realizing Sustainable Development Goals in Ciwalat Village, District. Pabuaran, Kab. Sukabumi. This service was carried out on Sunday, June 2 2024, which was attended by 20 students and 6 supervisors from Pamulang University. The general aim of this community service activity is to socialize that the way to achieve MSME independence and improve human resources is through quality education so that sustainable development can be achieved in Ciwalat Village. The methods used are survey methods and direct delivery of material as well as simulations and discussions regarding management, HR management, marketing of MSME products. This service activity succeeded in providing understanding to the community, especially the importance of quality education in improving human resources and developing MSMEs in an effort towards sustainable development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how effective the savings education program is for primary school students in SB Kampung Bharu, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The program involved students from grade 1 to grade 6, to introduce the concept of money and the importance of saving early on. The methods used in this activity include material provision, discussion, and hands-on practice. Educational activities include the introduction of currency, symbols, and heroes on rupiah money, as well as education on how to save and protect money. Students were also taught about the importance of saving money through interactive discussions and practice making piggy banks from used materials. The results showed that students had an increased understanding of various aspects of finance, including the value of money, the history behind the symbols on currency, and the importance of keeping their money safe. Discussions about saving money succeeded in instilling positive habits and an understanding of the importance of having spare money for urgent needs or long-term goals. The practice of making piggy banks not only enhanced students' creativity but also strengthened their understanding of the concept of saving money.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology have opened up vast opportunities for MSMEs to expand their marketing reach and improve their competitiveness. However, many MSMEs still do not optimally utilize the potential of digital technology. One of the MSME groups facing this challenge is the KEDUEMAS MSME in Kelapa Dua District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to improve the ability of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Kelapa Dua District, Tangerang Regency, to implement effective digital marketing strategies. This is very important considering the development of technology and the shift in consumer behavior that is increasingly digital. Through this PKM program, training and mentoring will be provided to KEDUEMAS MSME players related to digital marketing strategies, such as the use of social media, websites, search engine optimization (SEO), and marketing via email. The goal is for MSMEs to increase their knowledge and ability to utilize technology to expand market reach and increase sales. In addition, this PKM program will also help KEDUEMAS MSMEs increase their competitiveness in the digital era through the use of technology and effective digital marketing strategies. We will identify the needs and problems of KEDUEMAS MSMEs, design appropriate digital marketing strategies, and assist them in implementing them. By achieving these goals, it is expected that KEDUEMAS MSMEs can increase their marketing reach, brand awareness, and ultimately increase product sales and competitiveness in the midst of increasingly fierce digital market competition. This will also contribute to regional economic growth and empowerment of MSMEs as the backbone of the national economy.

Abstract

This community service activity is entitled “Application of Human Resource Management in Improving Worker Competencies in the Digital Age at the KEDU EMAS Starter MSME Group in Kelapa Dua District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province”. This activity was carried out on Sunday, July 14, 2024 and was attended by 22 students and 6 Pamulang University assistant lecturers. The general objective of this community service activity is the application of human resource management knowledge to improve competencies in the current digital era in KEDU EMAS MSMEs, Kelapa Dua District. The methods applied include surveys, direct material delivery, as well as consultation and discussion regarding the application and management of human resources. This community service activity succeeded in providing an understanding to KEDU EMAS MSME players regarding the management, training and development of human resources in an effort to develop community businesses in Kelapa Dua District.

Abstract

Bullying or negotiation is a word that has a meaning as an unpleasant action verbally or non-verbally. In the world of education, negotiation is a dynamic thing because it is a challenge for educators to shape the character of students. This negotiation problem often occurs in the school environment with students as the main actors. Therefore, this research is aimed at examining the socialization carried out on class 4C students at SD Negeri 75 Bengkulu to prevent the behavior of negotiation actions that occur in the school environment. As a result of this negotiation which is also a very detrimental victim, learners who are victims of negotiation are more likely to close themselves, feel insecure, and are not eager to go to school. The method of implementing socialization includes: preparation, implementation and presentation. This socialization is supported by the class teacher because it is considered as one of the character education for students and adds insight to students related to the material. It is expected that students who are victims of negotiations will be more courageous to voice their complaints to their class teachers.

Abstract

Education regarding how to calculate COGS is very important so that MSMEs can maximize their business development potential. Errors in determining COGS can result in business losses. Therefore, education about COGS calculations is vital to help MSMEs achieve competitive advantage and maximize business development potential. MSMEs are independent productive economic enterprises, usually carried out by individuals or business entities that are not subsidiaries or branches of companies owned, controlled or part of directly or indirectly. The business actors in this activity are the Pamulang Estate UMKM Women's Kube. This Community Service activity aims to provide education regarding calculating the cost of goods sold to increase MSME sales. The method developed in this activity involves socializing the calculation of cost of goods sold to increase sales at the Pamulang Estate UMKM Women's Kube. The problem faced by MSME players is related to a lack of knowledge regarding calculating the cost of goods sold in their business so that MSMEs are inaccurate in determining the cost of goods sold and determine the selling price incorrectly. MSME players argue that they do not have knowledge regarding calculating the good and correct cost of goods sold. So that this activity regarding calculating the cost of goods sold can provide business actors with insight, knowledge and skills in understanding the correct calculation of the cost of goods sold and can directly apply it in their business.

Abstract

Household financial management is the process of achieving goals through structured and appropriate finances. Many households do not yet have planning and management to achieve their financial goals. Therefore, this activity aims to transfer knowledge and knowledge in managing the household finances of the Mothers of the Nurul Ikhsan Taklim Council, so that the Mothers can be independent in keeping simple household financial records. The method used is in the form of delivering material and how to use household financial applications. The activity showed that before the PKM, the mothers did not have enough knowledge about financial management and making simple financial records, but after carrying out the activity it was discovered that the mothers of the Nurul Ikhsan Taklim Council were able to know how to make simple household financial reports and knew the application. can help record digital-based finances. PKM activities indirectly play a positive role in increasing participants' knowledge and skills in making simple financial reports.

Abstract

The Community Service Program titled "Strategy for Identifying Business Opportunities through the Utilization of Digital Marketing in Tegal Village, Bogor" was initiated due to the urgent need for MSMEs to adapt to digital technological advancements to enhance their business competitiveness. The goal of this activity was to equip participants with knowledge and skills in digital marketing, which could be used to identify and develop business opportunities. The method employed involved interactive counseling and training sessions covering the use of social media, search engine optimization (SEO), and content marketing. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding and application of digital marketing, with many reporting improved customer interaction and sales. Post-activity survey results also confirmed the program's success, although there remains a need for further training to support more effective and sustainable implementation in the future.
