Disastri adalah jurnal ilmiah bahasa dan sastra Indonesia yang diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa (dan Sastra) Indonesia Universitas Hasyim Asyari. DISASTRI (Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Program Studi) berfokus pada studi bahasa, sastra dan pengajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Jurnal ilmiah ini adalah kumpulan studi ilmiah dari komunitas akademik Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa (dan Sastra) Indonesia Universitas Hasyim Asyari dan komunitas akademik dan peneliti yang memiliki studi sesuai dengan fokus dan ruang lingkup jurnal Disastri. Jurnal Ilmiah ini diterbitkan tiga kali dalam satu tahun yaitu bulan April, Agustus dan Desember. Tim editor dan pengulas adalah personil yang sesuai dengan bidangnya, sehingga menjamin konten artikel yang substansial dan diterbitkan. Abstract

This research aims to reveal that self-expression in the song lyrics can influence people's views on the issues they experience contained in the lyrics of Yura Yunita's song "Tenang". In the meaning of the song, the lyrics of the song "tenang" represent the life experiences experienced by Yura Yunita when she felt the anxiety that hit her. The method used in this research is using a qualitative descriptive method. This research uses data collection and analysis techniques by looking at the song lyrics on the website, then using Spotify to listen to a calm song and then watching the music video on Yura Yunita's YouTube account. In the process of data analysis, the lyrics of the calm song were absorbed and then the results were presented which were linked to Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis theory. This research uses Van Dijk's theory of critical discourse analysis which consists of macro structure, superstructure and micro structure which includes (semantics, syntax, stylistics and rhetoric). This discourse analysis also analyzes social cognition and social context in the lyrics of the song "tenang ” Yura Yunita. The result of this research is an explanation of self-expression in the lyrics of Yura Yunita's song "Tenang".

Abstract

This research aims to examine the use of sarcasm in the depiction of Ferdy Sambo objects in Tempo magazine. Pierce's semiotic approach is used as a theoretical framework to analyze the visual signs used to convey sarcasm. This investigation categorizes various types of signs in semiotics, including icons, indices and symbols, which appear in Ferdy Sambo's depiction of objects. In addition, this research explores the role of sarcasm as a communication strategy in expressing criticism of Ferdy Sambo's actions or attitudes regarding relevant social or political issues during that period. The research methodology used is qualitative analysis of two covers of Ferdy Sambo's special edition of Tempo magazine. The data collection process uses documentation methods, recording techniques, and screen capture methods. Based on the analysis findings, it appears Tempo magazine uses sarcasm when describing the Ferdy Sambo object, which shows a critical response to existing social and political problems. Sarcasm functions as a means of communication to express disagreement and criticism of Ferdy Sambo's behavior.

Abstract

This research aims to describe objective reality, dialectical movements and emancipatory critical expressions in the novel Kereta Semar Lembu using Georg Lukacs' socialist realism theory. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with the literary sociology approach of Georg Lukacs. Data collection techniques used include reading, taking notes and conducting literature studies. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive analysis. The results of this research found that there is social reality 1) objective reality is reflected through the phases of oppression during colonial rule, Japanese colonialism and the era of independence, with people suffering as a result of inhumane colonial policies, 2) the dialectical movement in this novel plays a crucial role in understanding the dynamics of history and social change, seen through workers' resistance, the struggle for independence, and the difficulty of achieving peace between the Republic of Indonesia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, 3) emancipatory critical expressions are reflected in various forms of resistance, showing the critical spirit of the figures in facing colonialism and inequality at that time.

Abstract

The research entitled "Semiotic Analysis of the Song Nasida Ria: Representation of Global Themes" aims to describe the use of diction and the meaning contained in the lyrics of the song "Perdamaian". The data used in this research is one of the lyrics of Nasida Ria's song. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, the qualitative research was carried out naturally, and was not manipulated by the author and the presence of a writer did not influence the object under study. The research was carried out by collecting data by listening and note-taking techniques. The data is collected in the form of text that has been carefully and carefully selected, which is then classified based on categories and recorded on a data card. The theory used includes the theory of Charles Morris's semiotic analysis. The results of the research entitled "Semiotic Analysis of the Song Nasida Ria: Representation of Global Themes have three parts, namely, first, semantic, discussing the meaning of the language in the song's lyrics, second, pragmatic, also to find out what is meant by the speech in the song's lyrics. And the three syntaxes discuss the language contained in the song so that we can see that there is a meaning or purpose that is intended in the song.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the educational values ​​of the Siti Kalasun kaba using a sociological study of literature. The educational values ​​in question are the values ​​of faith and piety, aesthetic values, and the value of living together. The data source was obtained directly from Kaba Siti Kalasun herself. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive research methods. This research promotes understanding of the empirical interactions between the concepts being researched. This research reveals the educational values ​​in Kaba Siti Kalasun: as individuals, they demonstrate qualities such as love, patience, gentleness, and a life-oriented mindset; as members of society, they are characterized by their relationships with the environment and other people, along with a marked concern for the well-being of the environment and other people.

Abstract

This research aims to explore: (1) The physical and psychological representation of Minangkabau women in the kaba "Siti Risani" by Sutan Nasarudin, (2) The role of Minangkabau women in the family context in the kaba, (3) The role of Minangkabau women in the context of society in the kaba "Siti Risani." The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, using the book "Siti Risani" by Sutan Nasarudin as a data source. The data collection steps involved understanding the image of Minangkabau women, literature study, character identification, and data recording. Triangulation techniques were used to validate the data. The research results reveal two aspects of the image of Minangkabau women, namely physical and psychological. Physical image is divided into women who emphasize beauty and gentleness, and those who show strength and grace. Psychic image involves five aspects, including firmness, good manners, steadfastness, discipline, perseverance, patience, and compassion. The role of Minangkabau women in the family includes three main roles, namely as wife, mother and family member. The role of Minangkabau women in society is divided into two, namely as Limpapeh Rumah Gadang and Bundo Kanduang. The keywords of this research include image, Kaba, and women

Abstract

Pasambahan dining is a unique tradition that symbolizes the rich culture and local wisdom of the local community. In this ceremony, various types of typical food are served on banana leaves and traditional kitchen utensils, symbolizing respect for ancestors and harmony with nature. This tradition also illustrates the values of solidarity, mutual cooperation and brotherhood that are unique to the Nagari Tandikek community. Even though times are developing, the essence of the Pasambahan eating tradition is still maintained and preserved as a regional cultural identity. This article discusses the details and philosophy contained in the pasambahan eating tradition, as well as its development in modern life.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the comparison of formative and summative evaluations implemented in schools. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects in this research were grade 12 students at Tunas Harapan High School. The data in the research is in the form of student answers in a questionnaire which has been distributed by the author using GForm. The data collection techniques applied in this research are observation techniques and distributing questionnaires. The research results show that in learning Indonesian, Tunas Harapan High School carries out formative evaluations and summative evaluations in the form of questions and final projects. Formative and summative evaluations are interrelated and important in measuring student understanding and helping teachers adjust developments in learning system design.

Abstract

Women play a crucial role in society because they have wombs that give birth to future generations of humans. However, the birth of children in Bali is still influenced by customs based on the father's line. This research was conducted to reveal the forms of feminism in the poems "Rumah Rahim", "On the Owner of the Womb", and "Ucearat" by Oka Rusmini, based on libertarian feminist studies which support Kate Mille's theory of sexual politics. The research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection technique used was the technique of reading, listening and taking notes using documentation studies. The analyzed data is then presented descriptively. Research results: There are social norms that force women to play certain roles, giving rise to gender injustice, there is unfair treatment of women so that women's roles and rights are reduced, injustice towards women causes minimal appreciation.

Abstract

The phenomenon of third language acquisition has spread rapidly in recent decades, as one of the multifaceted effects of the current era of globalization. In a world where multilinguals outnumber monolinguals, the study of third language (L3) acquisition has become an area of ​​interest for many researchers. This article aims to provide an overview of reviews of several studies regarding third language acquisition.A systematic review method was used in this study, based on research questions that govern which studies will be included for review. This study aims to investigate research trends on third language acquisition. The results of this research show that several studies after 2020 only focused on transfer errors due to cross-linguistic influences at the morphosyntactic level.
