Abstract

Experts agree that character education should start at an early age. However, implementation is often found irregularities. The Ministry of Education and Culture has appointed a number of kindergarten as a pilot project for the implementation of character education. This article reports how the management of character education in kindergarten to be the pilot project. By using a qualitative approach, which attempts to understand the specific situation with the case study method, it was found that kindergarten pilot project has been implemented in an integrated character education in learning through the development of habituation and specialized in the development of a learning theme. Planning the character education program is integrated in the weekly planning (RKM) and daily planning (RKH) and not in the form of an independent program. Implementation of the the character education program conducted through the internalization of the values of the characters in the learning activities using the model in groups with children as a center of learning (student centered). Assessment being applied on character education programs in kindergarten pilot project have not been using special instruments, but still combined with the assessment of child development in general (moral and religious, physical and motor, cognitive, linguistic, social and emotional child). One of the recommendation of this study is the kindergarten should start developing assessment instruments which are specialized in assessing development of learners.

Abstract

Pasambahan dining is a unique tradition that symbolizes the rich culture and local wisdom of the local community. In this ceremony, various types of typical food are served on banana leaves and traditional kitchen utensils, symbolizing respect for ancestors and harmony with nature. This tradition also illustrates the values of solidarity, mutual cooperation and brotherhood that are unique to the Nagari Tandikek community. Even though times are developing, the essence of the Pasambahan eating tradition is still maintained and preserved as a regional cultural identity. This article discusses the details and philosophy contained in the pasambahan eating tradition, as well as its development in modern life.

Abstract

Studi ini mengkaji tentang tingkat kepuasan belajar mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan aplikasi zoom cloud meeting. Adapun pokok permasalahannnya yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa dalam belajar menggunakan aplikasi zoom cloud meeting di Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan Institut Agama Islam Negeri Manado.         Penulis dalam penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey, sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan random sampling sejumlah 51 mahasiswa yang ada di kelas pendidikan agama islam (PAI) semester lima. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Instrumen ini sebelum digunakan untuk menjaring data, maka terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Selanjutnya untuk teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif yaitu mendsekripsikan dan memaknai data dari masing-masing komponen yang diteliti.         Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dilihat secara umum bahwa tingkat kepuasan belajar mahasiswa memiliki tingkatan kepuasan yang cukup dari responden yang memberikan jawabnnya dengan pertanyaan angket yang diwakili 5 indikator pelayanan yaitu indikator reability (2,8), tangible (2,6), ressponsiviness (2,6), assurance (3) dan emphaty (2,65) dan untuk nilai rata-rata dari keseluruhan indikator yaitu sebesar (2,7). Nilai ini masuk kategori cukup yang artinya tidak puas jika dilihat dalam tabel konsultansi perhitungan WMS, Jadi dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan zoom cloud meeting tidak puas

Abstract

Local taxes are an important source of local revenue which is useful for financing regional government administration. BPHTB, PBB, and Resto Tax are local taxes that have an effect in every region, as well as in Malang Regency. The contribution of local taxes in each region varies. This study aims to analyze the influence of BPHTB, PBB, and Resto Tax on PAD Malang Regency in the 2017-2019 period from an Islamic economic perspective. This type of research uses quantitative methods. The results of this study indicate that BPHTB has a positive effect on PAD, while PBB and Resto Tax have a negative effect on PAD in Malang Regency. This research is in line with the opinion of the Islamic figure Abu Yusuf who argues that kharaj (land tax) is allowed with the aim of applying taxes as state revenue to bring benefits to the community.

Abstract

Abstract. This research is focused on the application of Dhuha Prayer as a habit to shape student character, especially in the aspects of discipline and worship in the school environment. Discipline is considered key in achieving the goals of the school's Code of Conduct, with awareness of school rules as an important foundation for achieving maximum potential in the teaching process. The concept of discipline involves establishing students' exercise and self-control by teaching appropriate behavior. Dhuha prayer is considered a significant component in learner growth, ensuring regular habits of worship. The main goal is to form individuals with strong beliefs, piety, and noble behavior in the future. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, involving a comprehensive analysis of individuals. The results showed that the habituation of Dhuha Prayer at Kartika Junior High School succeeded in shaping the character of students, seen from their discipline in maintaining prayer and interacting with teachers. Nevertheless, there is a weakness in the aspect of responsibility, especially related to the habit of leaving class during free time and gathering in the canteen before the time. This limitation is due to the lack of affirmation and supervision from the picket teacher. This study provides insight into the important role of Dhuha Prayer in shaping students' character, while highlighting the need for a more active role from the school authorities in controlling students' habits. Abstrak. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada penerapan shalat dhuha sebagai kebiasaan untuk membentuk karakter siswa, terutama dalam aspek disiplin dan beribadah di lingkungan sekolah. Kedisiplinan dianggap kunci dalam mencapai tujuan Tata Tertib sekolah, dengan kesadaran terhadap aturan sekolah sebagai landasan penting untuk mencapai potensi maksimal dalam proses pengajaran. Konsep disiplin melibatkan pembentukan latihan dan kendali diri siswa dengan mengajarkan perilaku yang sesuai. shalat dhuha dianggap sebagai komponen signifikan dalam pertumbuhan peserta didik, memastikan kebiasaan beribadah yang teratur. Tujuan utamanya adalah membentuk individu dengan keyakinan kuat, takwa, dan perilaku luhur di masa depan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melibatkan koonfirmasi analisis komprehensif terhadap individu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan shalat dhuha di SMP Kartika berhasil membentuk karakter siswa, terlihat dari kedisiplinan mereka dalam menjaga shalat dan berinteraksi dengan guru. Meskipun demikian, terdapat kelemahan dalam aspek tanggung jawab, khususnya terkait kebiasaan keluar kelas saat jam kosong dan berkumpul di kantin sebelum waktunya. Keterbatasan ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya penegasan dan pengawasan dari guru piket. Studi ini memberikan wawasan tentang peran penting shalat dhuha dalam membentuk karakter siswa, sambil menyoroti perlunya peran lebih aktif dari pihak sekolah dalam mengontrol kebiasaan siswa.

Abstract

Abstract. The learning process that occurs in a person is an important thing in education. Through learning, a person can get to know his environment and be able to adapt and adjust to the times. the general phenomenon that emerges shows that the learning achievement of Class VIII students is still low. The low learning achievement of students is reflected in the value of Islamic Religious Education subjects that are not in line with expectations. From here it is clear that learning readiness is an important activity in the effort of growth and development. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. This method is also called confirmative method, because this method is suitable for proof/confirmation. This method is called a quantitative method because the research data is in the form of numbers and analysis using statistics. Thus quantitative methods can be interpreted as research methods based on the philosophy of positivism, used to research on certain populations or samples, data collection using research instruments, quantitative data analysis, with the aim of testing predetermined hypotheses.From this t test it is known that t count t table, namely, 2.231 2.02 and the significance value is 0.031 0.05, which means that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of learning readiness (Variable X) on student learning achievement (Variable Y).For future researchers who are sustainable about student readiness, they must be more careful about what factors can make students so ready or not ready to face learning. Abstrak. Proses belajar yang terjadi pada seseorang merupakan suatu hal yang penting dalam pendidikan. Melalui belajar, seseorang dapat mengenal lingkungannya dan mampu beradaptasi serta menyesuaikan diri dengan perkembangan zaman. fenomena umum yang muncul menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar siswa SMPN masih rendah. Rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa tercermin dari nilai mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam yang belum sesuai dengan harapan. Gambaran capaian prestasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di salah satu SMPN kota Bandung dalam kurun waktu tiga tahun terakhir. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode ini juga disebut metode konfirmatif, karena metode ini cocok digunakan untuk pembuktian/konfirmasi. Metode ini disebut metode kuantitatif karena data penelitian berupa angka-angka dan analisis menggunakan statistic. Dengan demikian metode kuantitatif dapat diartikan sebagai metode penelitian yang berlandaskan pada filsafat positivisme, digunakan untuk meneliti pada populasi atau sampel tertentu, pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument penelitian, analisis data bersifat kuantitatif, dengan tujuan untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah ditetapkan.Dari uji t ini diketahui bahwa t hitung t tabel yakni, 2,231 2,02 dan nilai signifikansinya 0,031 0,05, yang mana ini bermakna bahwa Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak. Sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh secara signifikan kesiapan belajar (Variabel X) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (Variabel Y).Untuk para peneliti selanjutnya yang berkesinambungan tentang kesiapan siswa harus lebih teliti faktor apa saja yang dapat membuat siswa bisa begitu siap atau tidak siap nya menghadapi pembelajaran.

Abstract

The objective of this article is to examine the categorization of student’s comprehension of religion within two Indonesian universities, namely Universitas Islam Bandung and Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, due to the presence in promoting Islamic values by offering Islamic religious education subject and religious mentoring programs in the curriculum that have a significant impact on student’s religious beliefs. The research employed a cross-sectional survey with descriptive analysis and utilized a sample of 139 students from both universities. It identified three typologies of Islamic identities within the students: first, the Puritans, who are identical to the Indonesian Salafist local leader Yazid bin Abdul Qadir Jawas; second, the moderate Islam, influenced by Yusuf al-Qardhawi's teaching; and third, the liberal, associated with Ulil Abshar Abdala's Jaringan Islam Liberal movement. The findings are: The students enrolled in the Islamic Religious Education at Universitas Islam Bandung showed a predominant inclination towards the Puritans (50-53.3%), the moderate (30%), and the liberal (16.7-20%), respectively. Within Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia's student reveals a trend towards the Puritans (30-43.3%), the moderate (26.7- 50%), and the liberal (20-30%), respectively. This shows there is a strong inclination towards the Puritans within both universities, and it is recommended that both universities formulate policies and strategies for strengthening religious moderation.

Abstract

Pendekatan Sains, Teknologi, Rekayasa, Seni, dan Matematika (STEAM) dan Game Based Learning (GBL) berperan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kolaborasi, berpikir kritis, dan pemecahan masalah siswa, sambil merangsang kreativitas mereka untuk menghadapi tantangan di era Society 5.0. Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran membawa banyak keuntungan, tetapi penggunaannya perlu dilakukan secara bijak untuk menghindari dampak negatif. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan anak usia dini dengan memberdayakan guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) dalam merancang pembelajaran berbasis permainan, mengintegrasikan pendekatan STEAM, serta mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Program ini diharapkan mampu menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif, kreatif, dan sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan anak. Pendekatan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang STEAM dan Game Based Learning dilakukan melalui metode Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), dengan mengidentifikasi masalah dan berkoordinasi dengan pihak terkait di Kecamatan Astanaanyar. Program ini bertujuan memberdayakan guru PAUD dengan mengembangkan game edukasi berbasis STEAM menggunakan MS-PowerPoint. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukan ada peningkatan pemahaman guru PAUD tentang Kurikulum Merdeka dengan pendekatan STEAM dan keterampilan teknologi informasi. Guru dapat membuat game edukatif menggunakan PowerPoint, yang meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran dan memotivasi anak-anak dalam pembelajaran TIK.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of nutritional intake on the performance of futsal athletes of Makassar State University class B class 2022. Futsal activities require prime physical condition, which is influenced by proper nutritional intake. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach and experimental design, as well as data collection through the Fat Secret application and BMR Calculator to calculate the nutritional intake of athletes. The subjects of the study were 10 active futsal athletes who underwent regular training programs and rest patterns. The results showed that 6 out of 10 athletes experienced a lack of daily calorie intake, which had an impact on their performance in training and matches. Factors causing this calorie deficiency include the economic and environmental limitations of students. Based on these results, it is recommended that athletes be more disciplined in maintaining a balanced and nutritious diet, and receive better education from coaches and universities regarding the importance of nutritional management. Further research is needed to explore other factors that may affect the performance of futsal athletes.

Abstract

Abstract. To be able to carry out learning in the digital era, teachers must be literate in technology and information. We are currently in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, which demands harmony between humans and information technology in finding solutions to various problems and creating creative and innovative opportunities. One of the competencies of 21st-century teachers is to develop interactive learning media based on digital technology. However, the reality in the field is that there are limited facilities and infrastructure, so there needs to be another motivation to develop ICT in the learning process of early childhood education (PAUD). This activity uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which is a transformative approach that aims to solve problems and fulfill the orientation on empowerment and practical needs of community change. The training participants are representatives of PAUD teachers in the Astanaanyar sub-district, under the coordination of the POKJA Bunda PAUD Astana Anyar sub-district. The result of this training is the increased ability of teachers to develop learning media in the form of games using the PowerPoint program, commonly known as a presentation application.
