Abstract

The Ampera LRT Station is located in the center of Palembang City and on the banks of the Musi River. This area is a center of community activity, with the presence of hospitals, offices, restaurants, hotels, and shopping centers. The existence of the Palembang LRT is intended to overcome congestion and accommodate the mobility needs of the community in Palembang, especially in the Ampera area. However, there are several issues related to pedestrian facilities in the Ampera LRT Station area, such as the misuse of sidewalk functions, the presence of many side barriers in the form of street vendors and on-street parking, as well as the lack of safe and comfortable crossing facilities for pedestrians, especially for people with disabilities. This study analyzes the pedestrian facility needs in the Ampera LRT Station area of Palembang. The method used in this study is the calculation of the level of service (LOS) based on the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (MKJI) 1997 and the empirical formula calculation of pedestrian conflicts based on the pedestrian flow and vehicle traffic flow (PV2) using quantitative data. The research results show that it is necessary to repair and add pedestrian facilities under the concept of walkability, such as providing sidewalks that can be used according to their function, providing crossing facilities such as pelicans with waiting platforms on Merdeka Street, Sudirman Street, and Tengkuruk Permai Street, while on Masjid Lama Street and Palembang Darussalam Street, zebra crossings or pedestrian platforms are needed. The results of this study are expected to be input for the Palembang City Government to improve the quality of pedestrian facilities in the Ampera LRT Station area so that it can support the station's function as a center of community activity and movement in the area.

Abstract

The modal split model can be varied to other model in the concept of four step models transportation. This approach model can be varied depending on the purpose of transport planning, such as the modal split planning process which is carried out at the trip generation calculation stage, and in this process the movement of public transport can be directly separated from private transport with the assumption that someone who will travel can choose the model that is influenced by socioeconomic valiable. The model combined experiment (G-MS) was carried out on the route to and from Jambi’s Sultan Thaha Airport, which is one of the transportation nodes that plays an important role in regional development in Jambi City. The aim of this research is to analyze potential demand using a combination of the Trip Generation-Modal Split (G-MS) model. Based on the results of the analysis using the binomial ratio logit model with the value Y = Proportion of passengers/days. The passenger distribution area is devided base on zones where the zones that have the potential to be passenger gathering point are zone 9, zone 10 and zone 11. Calculation of the chi-square test (goodness of fit test) shows that the calculation X2 value is 11.583 and the table X2 is 14.067 because X2 count <X2 table, then H0 is accepted which means the observation results are the same as the average model results so that model validation is declared successful, so this research can be used to calculate passenger demand to plan airport buses.

Abstract

For more than five years of operation, the South Sumatra light train (LRT) occupancy rate has not yet reached the target, so it is necessary to evaluate the program and realize the costs per passenger for South Sumatra LRT transport operators. The implementation methods that will be carried out at the completion of the research are the preparation stage, data collection, analysis and document preparation, evaluation and assistance, and refinement. This results in macro and micro costs for operating the South Sumatra LRT pilot.

Abstract

The role of public transport as a community choice in mobility is determined by public interest, it is the Government's goal to make people switch from private vehicles to public transport to continue to be improved. Surakarta City has 2 (two) adequate transportation nodes with Tirtonadi Terminal and Solo Balapan Station which are now integrated with a connecting bridge to facilitate the community to travel. Batik Solo Trans Surakarta is a feeder transport service that serves 6 (six) corridors in 2020 which are determined through the Decree of the Mayor of Surakarta. The Batik Solo Trans bus model is ¾-shaped and can carry 20 passengers, with facilities for passengers with disabilities, the elderly, pregnant women and mothers carrying children. Every year the number of Batik Trans Bus service corridors increases but inversely proportional to the occupancy rate of the number of passengers decreases, therefore a competitive strategy is needed with on line transportation that already exists in the community. Based on the results of previous research, it was found that the decline in user interest in Batik Solo Trans Bus was caused by the lack of optimal service of Batik Solo Trans Bus in Surakarta City and the decline in people's purchasing power determined by ATP and WTP. The research objective is to analyse the strategy to increase the interest of public transport users in Surakarta City. The research method is to conduct a literature study technique with analysis using SWOT. Strengths and weaknesses are in terms of strengths, namely 1) The rate of economic growth is increasing; 2) The unemployment rate is decreasing, and the weaknesses are 1) Public transport users are declining; 2) Competition with online transport is increasing.

Abstract

Pangandaran one of the leading area in West Java which known famous for it’s natural beauty coastal scenary. Tourist favorite destinations in Pangandaran are West And East Coast Beach Pangandaran. They often travel to Pangandaran for holiday using private vehicles which can cause traffic congestion, especially during peak season. Therefore, bike-sharing system can make a new alternative mobility option. The most important thing in managing bike-sharing system is to plan optimal location bike-sharing station and determine bicycle lane route. Data collection techniques used primary data, consist of AHP methode and road inventory survey, while secondary data used road network, land use, terminal distribution and bus stop maps. The analysis technique used is SMCA (Spatial Multicriteria Analysis) to determine the potential location of bike-sharing stations and analysis of determining bicycle lane routes by considering the technical guidelines in bicycle lane planning, road conditions from road inventory surveys, and potential location points of bike-sharing stations. The purpose of this research is to know which areas in West and East Coast Pangandaran are potential for planning bike-sharing stations and route bicycle lane. Based on the results SMCA, seven potential locations of bike-sharing stations was proposed and for bicycle lane route, eight road sections selected with the various considerations from the techinal requirements, but some of the existing road sections need to re-design with recommendations for road geometric conditions and traffic engineering so that the technical requirements meet the minimum road width for bicycle activity as mention in technical guidelines for bicycle lane planning.

Abstract

Abstrak: Jalan tol Jakarta-Tangerang adalah ruas jalan tol yang menghubungkan Jakarta dengan Tangerang yang dikelola oleh PT. Jasa Marga Tbk dan merupakan salah satu jalan tol yang cukup sibuk di Indonesia dikarenakan lokasinya yang menghubungan tempat penting yang dapat diakses melalui jalan tol Jakarta – Tangerang. Melihat pentingnya peran jalan tol ini, maka pada penelitian ini mengkaji penentuan penanganan kerusakan jalan yang ditinjau berdasarkan metode PCI serta membandingkan hasil yang didapatkan dengan hasil metode IRI pada proyek pemeliharaan jalan tol Jakarta – Tangerang. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan menggunakan metode PCI pada ruas jalan tol Jakarta-Tangerang STA 18+400 – 21+300 ditemukan bahwa kerusakan yang terjadi teramati didominasi oleh tingkat medium. Adapun hasil perhitungan didapatkan rata-rata sebesar 80,3 dengan kondisi sangat baik dan sebesar 74,6 dengan kondisi sangat baik. Untuk penanganan pemeliharaan ruas jalan tol Jakarta-Tangerang STA 18+400 – 21+300 baik menggunakan metode PCI (Pavement Condition Index) dan metode IRI (International Roughness Index) memberikan rekomendasi dilakukan pemeliharaan rutin. Hal ini dikarenakan hasil penilaian kedua metode tersebut mendapatkan rata-rata nilai yang baik. Kata Kunci: Kerusakan Jalan, Pavement Condition Index (PCI), International Roughness Index (IRI)

Abstract

Kota Yogyakarta menjadi salah satu kota dengan pertumbuhan kendaraan bermotor tertinggi di Indonesia. Rasio jumlah kendaraan terhadap jumlah penduduk di kota Yogyakarta pada tahun 2022 sangat tinggi yaitu sebesar 1,52 dibandingkan DIY sebesar 0,84 dan Nasional sebesar 0,54. Sistem pergerakan lalu lintas sebagian besar adalah pergerakan untuk bekerja dan sekolah yang merupakan pergerakan rutin harian. Data penumpang bus Trans Jogja dari jenis pekerjaan ASN/POLRI/TNI tahun 2022 hanya sebesar 4%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui karakteristik perjalanan, mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi minat menggunakan angkutan umum untuk perjalanan kerja, dan mendapatkan model yang dapat menjelaskan pengaruhnya. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode analisis deskriptif, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), dan Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Tahapan penelitian ini terdiri dari penyusunan variabel dan hipotesisnya menjadi model konseptual yang selanjutnya dilakukan pengumpulan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 334 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar ASN Pemerintah Kota Yogyakarta tidak pernah menggunakan angkutan umum untuk perjalanan kerja. Kendaraan yang digunakan untuk perjalanan kerja sebagian besar kendaraan pribadi/dinas. Dari hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan Aksesibilitas dengan dimensi/faktor Mobilitas, Cuaca, dan Kemudahan serta Kualitas Pelayanan dengan dimensi/faktor Informasi dan Keamanan dan Kebersihan mempengaruhi minat ASN dalam menggunakan angkutan umum untuk perjalanan kerja.

Abstract

Transportation infrastructure and networks play a very large role in serving the movement of human activities, goods and services. Therefore, it is necessary to have a transportation network with good conditions and service levels that can connect each other between regions quickly and easily. One solution to overcome this condition is to build toll roads to pass traffic safely, comfortably, smoothly and even economically. The Cibitung-Cilincing toll road section is part of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road II (JORR II) located in a North-South direction corridor, starting from the Cibitung Interchange on the Jakarta - Cikampek Toll Road KM 25, heading north in Babelan sub-district and continuing to West direction meets the North Outer Ring at the Cilincing interchange. This research was conducted as a reference and recommendation for the current Cibitung - Cilincing toll road tariff. The number of respondent samples used was 100 respondents in class 1 vehicles, and 120 respondents in class 2 vehicles. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires and direct interviews related to the socio-economic characteristics and travel characteristics of the respondents. The tariff recommendation that will be obtained is by using the Ability to Pay (ATP) and Willingness to Pay (WTP) approaches. The results of the study can be seen the socio-economic characteristics and travel characteristics of toll road users. The average ATP value in group 1 was Rp. 2,233/Km and for group 2 is Rp. 2,408/Km. The average WTP value in group 1 is Rp. 1,863/Km and for group 2 is Rp. 2,775/Km

Abstract

Driver fatigue significantly contributed to traffic accidents, especially in countries with complex road characteristics like Indonesia. The research emphasized the importance of raising public awareness, developing improved detection technologies, and enforcing strict regulations. Various methods, including computer vision and physiological monitoring, were evaluated to detect driver fatigue and enhance safety through early warnings and advanced detection systems in vehicles. A systematic literature review (SLR) analyzed recent advancements, identified relevant articles, and synthesized findings to highlight current trends, gaps, and potential improvements in driver fatigue detection technology. The study found that driver monitoring systems had played a significant role in reducing traffic accidents, highlighting the importance of enhancing public awareness, advancing monitoring technologies, and enforcing strict regulations. Various methods, including computer vision and physiological monitoring, had been evaluated for their effectiveness in monitoring drivers and improving safety through early warnings and advanced detection systems in vehicles. The SLR identified current trends, gaps, and potential improvements in driver monitoring technology. Future research needed to focus on integrating various evaluation metrics, enhancing physiological monitoring techniques, optimizing overall system performance, and improving user experience. Additionally, interdisciplinary approaches and real-time data analysis and integration with existing vehicle systems were required to create more effective, efficient, and reliable driver monitoring systems, ultimately enhancing driving safety.

Abstract

Pertanggungjawaban pidana dalam konteks kecelakaan lalu lintas adalah aspek penting dalam menjaga keamanan dan kepatuhan hukum di jalan raya. Dalam implementasi Undang-Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan, salah satu problematika yang diatur dalam Undang-Undang tersebut adalah berkaitan dengan over dimension dan overload terhadap kendaraan angkutan barang, yang tidak jarang menimbulkan kecelakaan lalu lintas, namun yang menjadi permasalahan adalah pertanggungjawaban terkait over dimension dan overload yang berlaku saat ini adalah hanya kepada pengemudi, sedangkan permasalahan over dimension dan overload merupakan pelanggaran pengangkutan barang yang tidak jarang juga melibatkan keterlibatan perusahaan jasa angkut maupun perusahaan pada umumnya selaku pemilik kendaraan, sehingga diperlukan kajian lebih jauh mengenai permasalahan tersebut, dimana penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana penerapan sanksi pengemudi angkutan barang yang berspesifikasi ODOL yang mengancam keselamatan pengguna jalan lain di wilayah Bekasi, dan terkait pertanggungjawaban pidana vicariousliability pengemudi dan pengusaha yang melakukan pelanggaran terhadap angkutan barang dengan spesifikasi ODOL di wilayah Bekasi, yang akan diteliti dengan metode penelitian yuridis normatif, dengan menggunakan data sekunder, berupa bahan hukum primer, sekunder, dan tersier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, Penerapan sanksi pengemudi angkutan barang yang berspesifikasi ODOL yang mengancam keselamatan pengguna jalan lain di wilayah Bekasi, bila hanya berkaitan dengan permasalahan kendaraan angkutan barang yang Over Dimension, dan Over loading, pada dasarnya penerapan sanksi pengemudi hanya berupa tilang dan denda, dan Pertanggungjawaban pidana vicariousliability pengemudi dan pengusaha yang melakukan pelanggaran terhadap angkutan barang dengan spesifikasi ODOL seharusnya dapat dilakukan, dan bukan hanya mengedepankan permasalahan kecelakaan lalu lintas akibat kendaraan yang Over Dimension, dan Over loading, maupun pertanggungjawaban hanya diutamakan terhadap pengemudi
