Abstract

This research aims to describe efforts to increase the learning interest of fourth grade students in learning social studies using image media at SDK Roworeke 2 East Ende. This type of research is qualitative, namely the researcher describes how to increase the learning interest of fourth grade students in social studies learning using image media at SDK Roworeke 2 Ende Timur through in-depth interviews with research information supported by observation and documentation processes. The research subjects were the principal, class IV teacher and 4 class IV students. The results of the research show that the teacher's strategy in using image media can increase the learning interest of fourth grade students learning social studies by using image media at SDK Roworeke 2 East Ende, namely; adapting the material to the images that will be used, designing the image media that will be used considering the limitations of the media, compiling steps in using image media, adjusting learning steps based on lesson plans, references and learning objectives that have been prepared previously

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation, impact and supporting and inhibiting factors of Islamic Religious Education learning in building religious character in students of SMP N 1 Bringin and SMP N 3 Bringin. There are main discussions in this study, namely: (1) the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning in building religious character (2) the impact of the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning in building religious character (3) supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning in building religious character. The researcher uses a qualitative approach through interview, observation, and documentation methods. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses qualitative data analysis with procedures for collecting, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions which are then verified. The findings of this study are: 1) The implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning in building religious character in SMP N 1 & 3 Bringin students is carried out through the process of planning, implementation and evaluation; 2) The impact of the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning at SMP N 1 Bringin includes: (1) Fostering Self-Discipline; (2) Increasing Tolerance Attitudes; (3) Increasing Social Awareness; (4) Increasing Spiritual Awareness; (5) Ethical and Moral Development.

Abstract

An indicator of the success of a school principal's leadership that can be guaranteed to achieve school goals is leadership that is based on the leadership of the Prophet Muhammad. The success achieved by the Prophet Muhammad SAW during his leadership is strongly thought to be because the pattern that was built was based on love, example, faith and devotion to Allah SWT. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological type involving informants from Foundation Management, School Committee Management, school principals, teachers and staff. Data collection used was observation, interviews and document study. The results of the research found that the Principal's Prophetic Leadership in Teacher Performance at Jamiatul Tholibim Kandangan Temanggung Middle School was adapted to the grand design that had been prepared by the Principal including, communicating the school's vision and mission, organizing activities based on the school's strategic plan, entrusting the work team to work in accordance with their fields. responsibility, enlivening and cultivating faith values, holding joint evaluations in accordance with mutual agreement, to reflect and internalize the meaning of each activity that has been carried out. Driving factors are the Principal's Vision and Commitment, Support from the School Committee and Foundation, Teacher Involvement in Positive School Culture Decision Making. The inhibiting factors are resistance to change and lack of resources.

Abstract

This research aims to find out: (1) the effectiveness of lesson study in increasing the economics learning motivation of class XII students at Mutmainah High School; (2) the effectiveness of lesson study in improving the economics learning achievement of class XII Mutmainah High School students; (3) differences in motivation to learn economics using lesson study and those not using lesson study among class XII students at Mutmainah High School; (4) differences in economic learning achievement that use lesson study and those that do not use lesson study in class XII Mutmainah High School students. This research is quasi-experimental research with a research design of one factor, two samples and one covariable. The population of this study were class XII students at Mutmainah High School. The sample for this research was students in class XII A (control class) and XII B (experimental class). The techniques used to analyze data are normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test (test). The results of the research on the first hypothesis test show that lesson study is effective in increasing learning motivation with an average increase value of 13.22% and a significance level (I-tailed) of 0.001 or <0.05 which shows that students' final learning motivation is better than learning motivation. beginning in the experimental class. The second hypothesis shows that lesson study is effective in increasing student learning achievement with an average increase of 83.95% with a significant level (I-tailed) of 0.001 or <0.05 and a tcount of -17.681 which shows the post-test score is better than post-test scores in the experimental class. test the third hypothesis

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of differentiated learning in increasing student interest in Civics subjects at BNKP Gunungsitoli Christian Private Junior High School, this research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The tools used by researchers in collecting data are recordings, pictures, and field notes. Based on the results of the research found that the implementation of differentiated learning in increasing students' interest in learning Civics Subjects at BNKP Gunungsitoli Christian Private Junior High School teachers make observations, interviews and give questionnaires to students to find out what the interests of students are in the classroom with teachers knowing students' learning interests, teachers use learning strategies, namely content differentiation that adjusts learning materials according to student interests. Process differentiation is a learning strategy that adjusts the way teachers deliver material or provide instructions to students, product differentiation is a teacher strategy in providing varied learning methods, and differentiation of the learning environment learning methods outside the classroom (outdoor). The impact of the implementation of differentiated learning has succeeded in increasing student interest in Civics subjects at BNKP Gunungsitoli Christian Private Junior High School. In addition, differentiated learning increases students' passion for learning the material, adds experience, provides actual examples, and learning is more fun so that students do not feel bored in learning.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is: Is there an influence of parental parenting on the learning achievement of class IV students at SDI Onekore 5? The aim to be achieved is to determine the influence of parental parenting on the learning achievement of class IV SDI Onekore 5 students. The respondents in this research were 30 class IV SDI Onekore5 students. The research method used in this research is quantitative expos facto type. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and are supported by documentation. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS version 23 program. The results of the research show that there is a positive and significant influence of parental parenting variables on the learning achievement of class IV students at SDI Onekore 5 as indicated by a coefficient of determination of 0.299, which means that parental parenting has an influence on student learning outcomes by 29.9%.

Abstract

Education is the main pillar in the self-development of individuals and society. Education serves to transfer knowledge, skills and values from the younger generation. In this context, learning motivation is very important because it is an internal drive that encourages students to be able to actively participate in the learning process. However, during observations at one of the SMKs in Kediri Regency, it was shown that the learning motivation of students in class XI- DPIB (Building Modeling and Information Design) was still relatively low, with many students doing activities irrelevant to the lesson. The selection of appropriate learning methods is needed to be able to provide learning motivation for students.

Abstract

Learning motivation is the overall driving force within student that intiates learning activities, ensures the continuity of these activities, and provides direction to learning activities so that the objectives desired by the subject can be achieved. In elementary school, learning motivation becomes an important factor influencing students’ academic success and personal development. This study aims to identify the factors that influence the learning motivation of fourth grade students at SDS Unwanus Saadah. This study uses a qualitative case study approach. This approach allows the researcher to gain an in-depth understanding of the issues being studied through various data collection techniques, including structured interviews and FGD. The number of students involved in this study was six students. The collected data were then reduced through a coding process and conclusions were drawn to identify key themes. The results showed that both intrinsic factors and extrinsic factors influence students’ learning motivation, both positively and negatively. This study is expected to provide deeper insights into the factors that affect students’ learning motivation and offer suggestions for the development of more motivating pedagogical strategies and school environment.

Abstract

The arrangement of seating in the classroom has an important role in increasing the effectiveness of student learning, especially in the Vocational High This study aims to explore the relationship between seating arrangement and student learning effectiveness. Using the interview method, this study collected data from students and teachers regarding the impact of the U-Shape and Cluster structuring models. The results of the study showed that the U-Shape arrangement increased student engagement, focus, and interaction with the teacher, while the Cluster arrangement supported collaboration and comfort in group work. Students also recommend a combination of the two models to create a more optimal learning environment. These findings emphasize the importance of considering seating arrangement as a strategic factor in the effective learning process in vocational schools.School (SMK) environment such as SMK Negeri 1 Ngasem.

Abstract

Currently, we still often find messy classrooms, high classroom temperatures, ventilation and lighting systems that are not appropriate for the classroom, tables and chairs that are not neatly arranged, and learning materials that are not arranged well, which affects concentration. and interaction. The aim of this research is to identify the effect of U-Shape and Cluster class divisions on interactions between students and teachers, as well as between students and other students in learning activities, identify the impact on student concentration, and evaluate the effectiveness of the layout. This research uses qualitative methods by means of observation and questionnaires given to class XI students of Modeling Design and Building Information at SMK Negeri 1 Ngasem Kab. Kediri. Data obtained from interviews with students and studying several articles were then processed into narratives for discussion. To assess interaction and concentration in different types of layouts. Research shows that a more flexible layout, namely U-Shape, significantly increases interaction between students and teachers, as well as between students and other students in learning activities. In addition, this research found that ergonomic classroom layouts that can be modified based on learning needs tend to be more effective in increasing student concentration. Thus, classrooms that are designed flexibly and more interactively have proven effective in creating a more dynamic learning atmosphere, increasing engagement, and facilitating student focus. These findings provide recommendations for educators and schools to consider more effective classroom designs to support the teaching and learning process.
