Abstract

Facilitating transactions in the agricultural sector is crucial in achieving independent farming. In this article we will discuss the activities of community service through socialization and training using the ICARE method (Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, Extend). The aim of this dedication is to provide an understanding of the use and use of financial technology in the agricultural sector in order to expand the business ecosystem and facilitate transactions. Fintech has the advantage of providing 24-hour service access that is faster, easier and cheaper than conventional services with limited operating hours. Collaborate with the Farmers' Board of MojoLaban to help provide education on the definition and use of financial technology for farmers in financing, facilitation of transactions, financial planning and wealth processing. Fintech helps farmers with underbanked and unbanked categories because Fintec's assessment uses logarithms created by the creators of different applications from other conventional systems that require 5C conditions. (Capacity, Condition, Capital, Character dan Collateral). Socialization gives farmers a new understanding of the financial use of technology in Mojolaban district and knowledge of the benefits of using financial technology.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that faces a high threat of natural disasters. The resulting losses are significant. Therefore, systematic steps are needed to analyze and reduce the factors causing disasters. Efforts to reduce disaster risks include integrating disaster mitigation education into multiple subjects and at every level of education. So far, disaster education has only been partially implemented, with only science, social studies, and geography lessons incorporating disaster content. Other subjects have not yet integrated disaster into their curriculum. This article aims to explain the integration of disaster mitigation education in schools to cultivate a generation of citizens who are aware and capable of adapting to disasters in their surroundings. The research method employed in this study is a literature review using the Population, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcome (PICO) technique. The search and selection procedures for articles in this study utilize the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews & Meta-analyses (PRISMA) framework. The study involves an analysis of relevant sources related to the integration of disaster education. Integrating disaster mitigation education into various subjects will foster a culture of disaster preparedness, thereby minimizing the risks posed by disasters. When students are equipped to face disasters, they can develop resilience towards the disasters they encounter.

Abstract

Project-based learning has been implemented at Karangturi High School in Geography teaching for 10th-grade students, covering basic geography concepts and basic mapping materials. This project involves collaboration with the Physics subject in the measurement material. The focal point of this project is the creation of a school garden scale model, starting with direct field measurements as part of outdoor learning implementation. The dimensions of the garden are then calculated using a predetermined scale, and the garden model is constructed accordingly. This approach not only introduces basic geography concepts and basic mapping but also integrates physics concepts in measurement and scale. Through this project, students not only learn theory but also apply it directly in real-world contexts, enhancing their understanding of geography concepts and practical skills such as measurement and model making. Research findings indicate that this project-based learning in Geography is effective in improving students' understanding of basic geography concepts, basic mapping, and measurement, as well as enhancing their engagement and learning motivation. Practical implications of this research suggest that project-based learning approaches can be beneficial strategies in enhancing the effectiveness of Geography education in high schools, by integrating various subjects and encouraging active student engagement through engaging and relevant learning experiences.
