Abstract

General Background Global environmental degradation necessitates proactive waste management strategies within educational institutions. Specific Background Kranggan 4 State Primary School in Mojokerto previously faced severe hygiene issues due to accumulated leaf waste, creating discomfort and disrupting the learning atmosphere. Knowledge Gap While general school hygiene initiatives exist, comprehensive models integrating waste processing and entrepreneurial skill development for primary students from industrial worker families remain underexplored. Aims This research comprehensively describes the planning, implementation, and economic outcomes of the "Si Puan Pacarku" solid and liquid compost initiative. Results Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method involving observations and interviews, findings reveal a structured administrative process involving ecological cadres, teacher-student working groups, and continuous socialization. The initiative successfully converted organic debris into solid and liquid compost, alongside transforming plastic waste into marketable crafts. Consequently, students developed strong ecological awareness, demonstrated by habitual waste sorting, and gained entrepreneurial skills by marketing recycled products to generate school income. Novelty This study highlights a dual-purpose ecological initiative that uniquely combines hygiene restoration with tangible economic empowerment for elementary students. Implications The proven framework of this sustainability initiative serves as a highly ideal and replicable policy model for creating healthy and economically productive educational spaces. Highlights: Structured working cadres successfully converted accumulated leaf debris into marketable solid and liquid compost. Elementary learners demonstrated increased ecological consciousness through habitual sorting and active cleaning participation. The community initiative generated alternative institutional income by selling recycled crafts and processed materials. Abstract

General Background The Fourth Industrial Revolution introduces automation and generative systems into daily life, yet many teaching practitioners lack digital readiness. Specific Background In Indonesia, approximately sixty percent of educators possess low technology mastery, a demographic heavily represented by primary school instructors who struggle with overwhelming information organization. Knowledge Gap Despite the widespread accessibility of generative text models like ChatGPT, systematic literature reviews exploring their specific organizational utility for early schooling preparation remain underexplored. Aims This study analyzes the functional implementation of intelligent digital systems for preparing elementary pedagogical strategies and minimizing instructional workloads. Results Findings indicate that conversational algorithms significantly streamline student record integration, automate assessment grading, provide rapid individual feedback, and generate customized curricular materials. Furthermore, algorithmic processing minimizes non-instructional clerical duties, allowing instructors to focus on personalized student interaction. Novelty This research explicitly maps the procedural transitions from manual to algorithm-assisted organizational workflows within primary instructional environments, framing machine learning as a supportive pedagogical tool rather than a human replacement. Implications Integrating conversational algorithms into academic preparation frameworks offers a pragmatic solution for under-equipped practitioners, transforming traditional instructional design into a highly responsive, data-driven, and individualized instructional process. Highlights: Algorithmic systems streamline student record integration and significantly reduce non-instructional clerical burdens. Conversational platforms facilitate individualized pedagogical adaptation alongside rapid and automated assessment feedback. Machine learning models assist instructors in designing responsive curricula through advanced pattern recognition. Abstract

General Background The New Student Admission process is a critical component of Indonesia's educational system, which is increasingly transitioning toward digital platforms to modernize administrative procedures. Specific Background SD Muhammadiyah 1 Pucanganom Sidoarjo has implemented a digital admission system, enabling prospective students to complete all enrollment stages entirely online without physical school visits. Knowledge Gap While digital admissions promise convenience, comprehensive analyses addressing the complex interplay between system accessibility, data security, and the persistent digital divide remain scarce. Aims This study analyzes the extent to which the digital system improves accessibility, transparency, and efficiency while identifying the specific infrastructural and socio-technical challenges hindering optimal implementation. Results Utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach via in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, findings indicate the system successfully streamlined administrative burdens and provided real-time transparency. However, significant barriers emerged, including inadequate internet infrastructure in remote areas, low digital literacy among economically disadvantaged parents, and limited server capacity during peak registration. Novelty This research specifically isolates the home service admission model to highlight the friction between administrative digitalization and equitable educational access in developing technological infrastructures. Implications Ensuring a truly inclusive digital admission system requires cross-sector collaboration to upgrade technological infrastructure, continuous community digital literacy training, and strict data security protocols. Highlights: The home service model significantly reduces administrative burdens and offers real-time transparency for parents. Inadequate rural internet connectivity and low parental digital literacy severely impede equitable system accessibility. Cross-sector collaboration and community-focused digital literacy training are crucial for sustainable digital education platforms. Abstract

General Background Vocational education relies heavily on industrial partnerships to produce competent graduates who meet dynamic workforce demands. Specific Background SMKN 1 Sidoarjo implemented the Teaching Factory model to align its curriculum and instructional practices with industrial standards. Knowledge Gap Although the institution utilized the Teaching Factory framework and the independent curriculum, comprehensive evaluations combining the link and match strategy with the Balanced Scorecard system to holistically measure vocational success remain absent. Aims This study evaluates institutional performance and Teaching Factory execution utilizing Balanced Scorecard indicators to determine readiness as a Center of Excellence. Results Qualitative analysis employing observation, interviews, and documentation revealed that the independent curriculum effectively integrated industrial planning, guest instructors, and graduate absorption strategies. However, the Teaching Factory in the Machining Engineering concentration failed to achieve full graduate employment in partner industries. Consequently, establishing standardized operational procedures, organizational structures, and continuous evaluation parameters within the Balanced Scorecard framework is necessary to ensure institutional progress. Novelty This research integrates the link and match model within a multidimensional Balanced Scorecard framework to objectively measure educational quality, financial independence, and industrial relevance. Implications Vocational institutions must utilize structured performance indicators to systematically address curriculum deficits and optimize their Teaching Factory initiatives, ultimately achieving financial autonomy and higher graduate employability. Highlights: The Balanced Scorecard framework holistically measures financial independence, internal business processes, and student learning outcomes. The Machining Engineering concentration failed to achieve full graduate employment despite implementing the Teaching Factory model. Integrating the link and match strategy guarantees curriculum relevance and stronger industrial involvement.
