Abstract

General Background Character education within madrasahs plays an essential role in fostering individuals characterized by integrity, ethics, and responsibility. Specific Background This research investigates the role of the madrasah head in designing and implementing holistic character education programs at MTs Tarbiyatus Shibyan Guyangan Krucil Probolinggo. Knowledge Gap Previous literature lacks detailed qualitative insight into how specific leadership functions and scheduled religious activities are systematically coordinated by madrasah heads to instill core moral traits among students. Aims This study aims to explore the phenomena experienced by research subjects and describe the role of the madrasah head in student character development along with its resulting outcomes. Results The qualitative findings reveal that the madrasah head successfully formulates strategic policies and enforces consistency by engaging teachers as rotational prayer leaders, which actively instills three core student characters: religious, disciplined, and responsible. Novelty The direct integration of administrative policy formulation with active managerial oversight and rotational teacher-led spiritual practices constructs a cohesive framework for character cultivation. Implications These findings demonstrate that proactive madrasah head leadership serves as a foundational model for establishing a disciplined religious culture and moral resilience in Islamic educational institutions. Highlights:  Madrasah leadership extends beyond administrative functions to encompass the strategic design and implementation of holistic character education. Character cultivation initiatives successfully instill core behavioral traits including religious devotion, discipline, and personal responsibility. Administrative consistency and rotational teacher involvement in daily religious practices reinforce institutional culture and student compliance. Abstract

General Background Educational implementation relies heavily on pedagogical competencies that are closely influenced by curriculum standards, learning processes, and student characteristics. Specific Background This research investigates the implementation of pedagogical competencies during the curriculum transition from the 2013 curriculum (K-13) to the independent curriculum among first-grade teachers and students at SD Antawirya Krian Sidoarjo. Knowledge Gap Previous literature lacks comprehensive insights regarding how pedagogical competency implementation addresses combined challenges from full-day schooling models, curriculum transitions, and diverse student learning styles in primary educational settings. Aims The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of pedagogical competencies in the transition period from the K-13 curriculum to the independent curriculum and to offer pedagogical implementation solutions. Results The qualitative findings reveal that implementation problems stem from low teacher understanding of student characteristics, inadequate curriculum development, and deficiencies in educational activities, which are directly addressed through teacher training participation, optimized information systems, learning style adaptations, traditional and modern Islamic boarding school leadership principles, and academic supervision. Novelty The integration of full-day school management with structured pedagogical solutions during a major national curriculum transition provides a targeted framework for primary school teaching optimization. Implications These findings indicate that addressing teacher competency barriers through professional education programs and tailored pedagogical strategies is crucial for maintaining educational quality during institutional and structural transitions. Pedagogical implementation barriers include inadequate comprehension of student characteristics, insufficient curriculum development, and adaptation challenges during the national curriculum transition. Full-day school schedules introduce student fatigue and diminished concentration levels that require dynamic modifications to classroom learning methods. Proposed pedagogical solutions encompass educator training participation, learning style customization, institutional data optimization, traditional boarding school leadership models, and academic supervision. Abstract

General Background Educational quality serves as a primary priority in national development agendas to foster qualified human resources through formal school systems. Specific Background This research investigates the implementation of academic supervision by the principal at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Krian, alongside the identification of related instructional obstacles and subsequent evaluations. Knowledge Gap Previous literature lacks detailed qualitative insight into how sequential supervisory stages combined with structured follow-up mechanisms resolve administrative shortcomings and elevate institutional performance scores. Aims This research aims to describe the implementation of academic supervision and examine associated challenges encountered by the principal at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Krian. Results The qualitative descriptive findings indicate that supervision is conducted across three stages—preparation, execution, and follow-up—yielding internal improvements with a 20% increase in teachers achieving a good category and an external enhancement reflected by the 2024 educational report showing a medium learning quality achievement label. Novelty The integration of systematic supervisory instruments with mandatory three-week follow-up cycles effectively bridges administrative gaps and drives measurable internal-external educational quality growth. Implications These findings demonstrate that structured, humanistic principal supervision serves as a vital framework for rectifying instructional deficiencies and advancing school performance standards in secondary educational institutions. Highlights: Principal supervision unfolds through structured preparation, classroom execution, and timely follow-up consultations. Instructional improvements manifested as a twenty-percent rise in educators performing at a good level. Abstract

General Background: Stock prices are important indicators in capital markets because they reflect market valuation of corporate ownership and are closely considered by investors. Specific Background: Infrastructure companies operate in capital-intensive and long-term projects, while the sector experienced a significant decline during 2022–2024. Interim financial reporting, firm size, and leverage therefore constitute relevant financial characteristics for examining stock prices. Knowledge Gap: Previous evidence presented in the study indicates inconsistent findings concerning the information content of interim financial reporting and the relationship between leverage and stock prices, creating a basis for examining these variables in contemporary infrastructure-sector conditions. Aims: This study examines interim financial reporting integrity, firm size, and leverage in relation to stock prices of infrastructure companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2022–2024. Results: Using purposive sampling, the study selected 30 companies from a population of 70, producing 270 observations. Multiple linear regression was conducted using SPSS. Interim financial reporting integrity and firm size showed positive and significant partial relationships with stock prices, with standardized coefficients of 0.634 and 1.045, respectively. Leverage showed a negative and significant relationship, with a standardized coefficient of −0.297 and p = 0.023. Novelty: The study examines the three financial characteristics simultaneously within infrastructure companies during the 2022–2024 period. Implications: The findings indicate that investors consider reporting integrity, corporate scale, and financial leverage when assessing infrastructure-sector stocks. Highlights: Conservatism accruals showed a positive standardized coefficient of 0.634. Corporate scale recorded a standardized coefficient of 1.045. Debt-to-equity ratio showed a negative coefficient of −0.297 with p = 0.023. Keywords: Degradation, Stock Price, Equity
