Abstract

General Background: Learning quality management is essential for supporting quality education and student character development. Specific Background: SDIT Nurul Hidayah Papua implements learning quality management through curriculum integration, teacher development, academic supervision, facility management, and the Tahfizh Al-Qur’an program. Knowledge Gap: Further examination is needed to understand the implementation of learning quality management in the school context, particularly regarding human resources, facilities, and quality control. Aims: This study describes planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning quality management at SDIT Nurul Hidayah Papua. Results: Using descriptive qualitative methods, the study found structured planning, varied learning methods, continuous teacher development, academic supervision, and ongoing learning evaluation. However, teacher qualification mismatches, limited Tahfizh teachers, and inadequate facilities remain challenges. Novelty: The study presents integrated quality management practices combining academic and Islamic character development. Implications: Continuous strengthening of human resources, facilities, evaluation follow-up, and student-centered learning is required. Key Findings Highlights Teacher development involves training, in-house training, workshops, and academic supervision. Learning activities combine interactive lectures, discussions, questioning, demonstrations, and religious practices. Evaluation covers knowledge, skills, attitudes, facilities, and ongoing improvement. Abstract

General Background: Entrepreneurship education is important for developing students’ practical skills, character, and readiness for future challenges. Specific Background: SMP Al-Islam Krian implements entrepreneurship education through an independent local content subject designed around differentiated learning and practical experience. Knowledge Gap: Practical implementation remains constrained by parental academic orientations, teacher competencies, and technical facilities. Aims: This study analyzes strategies and challenges in implementing entrepreneurship education at SMP Al-Islam Krian. Results: A descriptive qualitative study found that students are divided into five business groups based on psychological testing, while learning emphasizes Project-Based Learning (PjBL) through 70% practice and 30% theory. The program also integrates Islamic business ethics and external practitioner collaboration. Novelty: The program combines differentiated practical learning with Islamic entrepreneurial values. Implications: Sustainable implementation requires parental participation, continuous teacher development, practitioner partnerships, and optimal use of available facilities. Key Findings Highlights Differentiated learning organizes students into five business groups. Project-based learning prioritizes 70% practical activities and 30% theory. Abstract

General Background: Islamic education in favorite schools seeks to develop students’ spiritual independence and discipline through structured religious guidance. Specific Background: Such guidance includes religious habituation, Qur’an reading and memorization, mentoring, and character development, but students differ in readiness and personal circumstances. Knowledge Gap: The gap between institutional guidance targets and students’ readiness creates dilemmas in maintaining religious standards while addressing students’ needs. Aims: This study analyzes the contribution of Islamic education to student independence and the institutional dilemmas encountered in religious guidance. Results: A qualitative phenomenological study found that religious habituation supports spiritual independence and discipline, while implementation remains uneven among students. Differentiated guidance, personal mentoring, counseling, and collaboration provide contextual responses. Novelty: The study highlights a moderative approach that balances institutional religious ideals with student realities. Implications: Islamic guidance should remain flexible, humanistic, and responsive to student diversity. Key Findings Highlights Structured religious habituation supports spiritual discipline. Abstract

General Background: Teacher professionalism is essential for quality learning and educational outcomes, requiring systematic supervision and continuous professional development. Specific Background: Clinical supervision supports teacher development through structured observation, feedback, collegial relationships, and follow-up. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies have largely examined clinical supervision in partial and context-specific settings without an integrated synthesis of teacher professionalism indicators and sustainable implementation. Aims: This study examines the role and contribution of clinical supervision in teacher professionalism through a Systematic Literature Review. Results: Analysis of 45 journals identified systematic supervision stages, harmonious supervisor–teacher relationships, individualized approaches, and continuous follow-up as key elements supporting professionalism. Novelty: The study integrates these elements into a systematic synthesis using the PRISMA protocol. Implications: The findings provide a reference for continuous supervision practices and educational policy formulation. Key Findings Highlights Systematic supervision stages support professional development. Collegial relationships foster teacher confidence and reflection. Abstract

General Background: Competition among educational institutions and declining student numbers challenge the sustainability of primary Islamic schools. Specific Background: MI Muhammadiyah 02 Menongo faces declining enrollment alongside weaknesses in school management, infrastructure, funding, and digital promotion. Knowledge Gap: Limited studies specifically connect educational promotion strategies with SWOT analysis at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level in rural or semi-urban settings. Aims: This study formulates a promotion strategy for attracting new students through SWOT analysis. Results: Six strategies were identified, including strengthening POAC management, developing internal human resources, establishing partnerships, mobilizing community support, and optimizing digital media. Novelty: The study integrates internal and external SWOT conditions into a context-specific promotion strategy for MI Muhammadiyah 02 Menongo. Implications: Coordinated institutional improvement and external opportunity utilization can guide sustainable promotional planning. Abstract

General Background: Religious values are integral to Islamic educational environments and professional conduct. Specific Background: SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Tulangan implements religious practices, Islamic culture, and social interactions to foster professional and moral development. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies have discussed religious values and teacher performance, but limited attention has been given to the interconnected development of integrity and loyalty within an Islamic educational setting. Aims: This study explores the role of the religious environment in shaping teacher integrity and loyalty based on Imam Al-Ghazali’s perspective. Results: Religious practices support honesty, responsibility, discipline, and ethical commitment, although declining spiritual guidance and inconsistent participation have weakened these qualities in recent years. Novelty: The study integrates religious values, integrity, and loyalty through Al-Ghazali’s concept of tazkiyatun nafs. Implications: Sustained spiritual development, moral leadership, and supportive institutional systems are needed to strengthen professional commitment. Abstract

General Background: Muhammadiyah pesantren play an important role in preparing Islamic preachers and organizational cadres. Specific Background: Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah Al-Munawwaroh develops Muhammadiyah dai cadres through leadership, education, discipline, public speaking, religious practice, and organizational activities. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies have examined mudir leadership and pesantren cadre development, but this study focuses specifically on Muhammadiyah dai cadre formation through the mudir’s leadership style. Aims: This study analyzes the leadership style of the mudir and the profile of Muhammadiyah dai graduates. Results: The leadership style is legal-formal-charismatic, supported by clear organizational structures, direction, supervision, motivation, and role modeling. Seven graduates met the identified dai criteria. Novelty: The study connects this leadership style with systematic Muhammadiyah dai cadre formation. Implications: The findings support pesantren leadership and cadre development practices for preparing competent and active Muhammadiyah dai. Key Findings Highlights The mudir applies a legal-formal-charismatic leadership pattern. Seven graduates meet the identified Muhammadiyah dai qualifications. Abstract

General Background: Reading literacy remains a challenge for students in rural madrasahs, particularly those with limited early stimulation and learning support. Specific Background: MI Fajrul Islam 02 Pulo implements Student Need Care (SNC) to support lower-grade students through additional reading assistance. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies discuss remedial reading and periodic evaluation, but limited research describes SNC implementation in rural madrasahs. Aims: This study analyzes SNC implementation, identifies challenges, and evaluates its contribution to students’ reading development. Results: Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving seven purposively selected informants. SNC uses initial assessment, student grouping, phonics, multisensory activities, repeated practice, and extra reading time. Weekly and monthly evaluations guide instructional adjustments and parent coordination. Novelty: The study provides an empirical account of SNC implementation in a rural madrasah. Implications: Sustained evaluation, teacher flexibility, and stronger school–home communication are needed to support literacy development. Abstract

General Background: Al-Qur’an memorization learning requires systematic management to organize instructional activities and achieve learning objectives. Specific Background: PKBM Permata Sunnah Sidoarjo implements Tahfidz Al-Qur’an learning through the Ummi method within a structured educational setting. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies have examined Tahfidz learning management in schools and pesantren, while its implementation in a community learning center requires further description. Aims: This study describes Tahfidz learning management and identifies its inhibiting factors at PKBM Permata Sunnah Sidoarjo. Results: Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Management covers planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation. Planning includes learning programs, administrative preparation, and halaqah formation; implementation applies the Ummi method; evaluation is conducted through daily, weekly, and monthly activities. Novelty: The study presents Tahfidz management within a PKBM context. Implications: Systematic management supports learning quality, although gadget use, changing locations, and limited muroja’ah remain challenges. Key Findings Highlights Structured evaluation monitors learners’ memorization progress. Ummi learning applies direct reading, listening, and repetition. Abstract

  General Background: Educational marketing is important for private schools to communicate educational services and respond to institutional competition. Specific Background: SMP Al Islam Krian applies marketing mix strategies through educational programs, pricing, location, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies have examined marketing mix in educational institutions, while this study focuses on its implementation, strengths, and weaknesses in student enrollment at an Islamic private school. Aims: This study examines the implementation of marketing mix and identifies its strengths and weaknesses at SMP Al Islam Krian. Results: Using a qualitative case study, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show that marketing activities cover 7P elements and an additional spiritual dimension, Pray. New student enrollment increased from 9 classes in 2023–2024 to 13 classes in 2025–2026. Novelty: Pray extends the marketing mix with a spiritual dimension. Implications: Integrated marketing supports school attractiveness and public trust, although it requires substantial coordination and budget. Key Findings Highlights New student enrollment increased from 9 to 13 classes. The school implemented seven core marketing elements. Pray introduced a spiritual dimension to school marketing.
