Abstract

Inventory management plays a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction in building material stores.Sinar Mas Putra Building Store, Jepara, experiences difficulties in determining restocking priorities because inventory decisions are primarily based on estimation and personal experience, which may result in stock shortages or overstock conditions. This study aims to develop a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to support objective restocking decisions. The system evaluates products based on five criteria: stock quantity, sales level, product price, lead time, and demand level. This study adopted the Waterfall software development model, while data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The proposed system was implemented as a web-based application and validated using Black Box Testing to ensure that all functional requirements were fulfilled. The results demonstrate that the proposed DSS successfully generates systematic and objective restocking priority recommendations by integrating multiple evaluation criteria into a single decision-making process.Compared with conventional manual practices, the proposed system improves the consistency, accuracy, and efficiency of inventory decision-making.Therefore, the proposed system provides practical support for inventory management and contributes to more effective and reliable restocking decisions at Sinar Mas Putra Building Store.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and smart energy technologies has created new opportunities for enhancing vocational education, particularly in electrical engineering learning environments. Critical thinking skills are essential competencies for students in Electrical Installation Engineering programs, as they support problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical reasoning during practicum activities. However, electrical control system practicums in vocational schools are often conducted using conventional instructional approaches that provide limited opportunities for students to engage in higher-order thinking processes. This study aims to investigate the potential implementation of AI-Based Smart Grid Simulation as an innovative learning medium to enhance students’ critical thinking skills in electrical control system practicum learning. A qualitative case study approach was employed at SMKN 1 Tambun Utara, Indonesia. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of learning documents. The collected data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that current practicum activities primarily rely on jobsheets and conventional laboratory equipment, which tend to emphasize procedural execution rather than analytical problem-solving. Teachers and students expressed the need for interactive learning media capable of visualizing complex electrical systems and simulating real-world operational scenarios. The study reveals that AI-Based Smart Grid Simulation has significant potential to support critical thinking development by enabling students to analyze system conditions, evaluate alternative solutions, and make informed decisions in simulated electrical control environments. These findings provide practical insights for integrating AI-driven smart grid technologies into vocational education and contribute to the development of innovative learning strategies that align with Industry 4.0 and Education 5.0 requirements.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of digital financial services and financial literacy on the issue of over-indebtedness among Millennials and Generation Z in Jakarta. Utilizing a quantitative approach with a causal design, data were gathered from 254 participants through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Findings reveal that both digital financial services and financial literacy significantly influence over-indebtedness. Notably, higher levels of over-indebtedness correspond to more effective debt management and reduced financial distress. This suggests that leveraging digital financial services, alongside enhanced financial literacy, fosters improved financial stability in younger demographics. In contrast, social media and Buy Now Pay Later options did not demonstrate significant effects, and financial literacy did not serve as a moderating factor in the examined relationships. This research enriches the understanding of youth financial behavior within the digital economy and offers actionable insights for promoting financial literacy and risk management strategies aimed at sustaining financial well-being among Millennials and Generation Z.

Abstract

Financial behavior has become increasingly important among university students as they assume greater financial independence and face more complex financial decisions. Empirical evidence concerning its determinants among students in vocational higher education institutions outside major urban areas remains limited, despite their distinct socioeconomic characteristics. The research examines the effects of income, financial literacy, and lifestyle on the financial behavior of students at Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut. A quantitative design was employed using probability sampling with a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected from 275 active students and analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results show that income positively and significantly affects financial literacy, lifestyle, and financial behavior, while financial literacy and lifestyle also positively and significantly influence financial behavior. By integrating these variables within a single structural model, the analysis provides a more comprehensive understanding of the economic and behavioral factors underlying students’ financial behavior. The findings suggest that vocational higher education institutions should strengthen applied financial literacy programs, including budgeting, financial planning, expenditure management, and guidance on lifestyle choices aligned with students’ financial capacity. Such initiatives may promote more responsible financial behavior and support long-term financial well-being.

Abstract

Digital platforms have reshaped competition in the food and beverage sector, making it increasingly important for brands to convert short-term online attention into sustained customer loyalty. This study investigates whether brand image explains how viral marketing translates into repurchase intention among Menantea consumers in Bandung, Indonesia. A quantitative, cross-sectional survey was conducted with 130 consumers who had previously purchased Menantea products and had encountered the brand's digital content. Respondents were selected purposively, and the data were examined through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 4 with a 5,000-resample bootstrapping procedure. The results show that viral marketing significantly strengthens both brand image and repurchase intention. Brand image also has a positive effect on consumers' willingness to buy Menantea again. The indirect relationship is significant while the direct path remains significant, demonstrating partial mediation. Accordingly, widely shared content is more likely to support repeat purchasing when it also reinforces a distinctive, credible, and favorable perception of the brand. The study extends signaling theory and consumer behavior research by clarifying brand image as a mechanism that connects digitally circulated marketing messages with post-purchase intentions in an Indonesian beverage-brand setting. Managerially, the findings indicate that Menantea should combine authentic, interactive, and shareable content with consistent brand cues, dependable product quality, and responsive social-media engagement to cultivate longer-term customer relationships.
