Abstract

This study examines the effects of digital marketing and service quality on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction serving as a mediating variable, at Perumda Bank Perekonomian Rakyat (BPR) Bank Kota Bogor, Indonesia. The study is motivated by the increasing digital transformation in the banking industry and the growing competition from fintech companies and digital banks, which require rural banks to strengthen customer relationships and maintain competitiveness. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using survey data collected from 100 active customers selected through purposive sampling to ensure respondents had experience using the bank’s digital services. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), which was considered suitable for examining complex relationships among variables with a relatively small sample size. The findings reveal that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, while customer satisfaction significantly influences customer loyalty and mediates the relationship between service quality and loyalty. In contrast, digital marketing does not significantly affect customer satisfaction, although it directly influences customer loyalty. Furthermore, customer satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between digital marketing and customer loyalty. These findings indicate that customer loyalty in rural banking is driven more by service quality and customer satisfaction than by digital marketing activities alone. This study contributes to the limited literature on customer loyalty in rural banking and provides practical insights for bank management in strengthening service quality and optimizing digital marketing strategies to enhance long-term customer relationships.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of financial distress and profitability on financial statement fraud, while also assessing the role of the audit committee as a moderating factor in companies within the consumer non-cyclicals sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021 to 2024. Employing a causal approach, the study aims to establish the relationships among the variables involved. A purposive sampling method identified 39 companies after excluding outlier data. The analysis relies on secondary data obtained from the audited annual financial statements of each firm. Panel data regression serves as the analytical method. The findings reveal that financial distress positively correlates with financial statement fraud, whereas profitability does not demonstrate a significant relationship with fraud occurrences. Notably, the audit committee plays a crucial role in mitigating the positive impact of financial distress on fraudulent activities. However, it does not effectively moderate the link between profitability and financial statement fraud. Collectively, financial distress, profitability, and the audit committee exert influence on the prevalence of financial statement fraud.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture, organizational commitment, and leadership style on employee performance at the Buleleng Regency Population and Civil Registration Service. The research used a quantitative approach involving 95 employees as respondents. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The research results show that organizational culture, organizational commitment, and leadership style each have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, these three variables also have a significant effect on employee performance with an F-value of 63.487 and a significance of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R2) value of 0.677 indicates that 67.7% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by organizational culture, organizational commitment, and leadership style, while 32.3% is influenced by other factors outside the research. These findings indicate that strengthening organizational culture, increasing organizational commitment, and implementing an effective leadership style are important factors in improving employee performance.

Abstract

This study evaluates the ability of the Prophet model to forecast daily TikTok affiliate revenue for the Cutetastic_ account and examines the contribution of operational variables to forecast accuracy. The dataset comprises 120 days of daily performance records from November 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026, including date, total revenue, number of video posts, video views, product clicks, and products sold. Three modeling scenarios were evaluated: univariate Prophet, Prophet with extra regressors, and Prophet with extra regressors combined with log transformation and parameter adjustment. The data were split chronologically into 106 training observations and 14 testing observations, and model performance was evaluated using MAE, RMSE, and MAPE. The results show that the univariate Prophet model produced a MAPE of 53.86%, whereas Prophet with extra regressors reduced the MAPE to 21.55%. The best performance was achieved by Prophet with extra regressors, log transformation, and parameter adjustment, with an MAE of 8,977,172.95, an RMSE of 11,549,223.21, and a MAPE of 19.31%. These findings indicate that historical revenue patterns alone are insufficient to capture the volatility of TikTok affiliate revenue. Operational variables improved forecast accuracy in this case study, particularly when treated as inputs for conditional forecasting or simulation-based forecasting. Therefore, the results from the regressor-based models should not be interpreted as assumption-free forecasts, but as short-term projections that depend on the availability or simulation of operational inputs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, work environment, and work motivation on employee performance at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Bogor Regency and to examine differences between civil servants (ASN) and non-civil servants (non-ASN). This research contributes to the understanding of factors affecting employee performance within public sector organizations. A quantitative approach with an associative-causal and cross-sectional design was employed. Data were collected from employees through questionnaires, supported by observation and interviews, and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The findings indicate that leadership style, work environment, and work motivation positively influence employee performance, both individually and collectively. Among these factors, the work environment was identified as the most influential determinant of employee performance. The study also reveals variations in the influence of these factors between ASN and Non-ASN employees, reflecting differences in organizational and employment characteristics. These findings highlight the importance of creating a supportive work environment, implementing effective leadership practices, and fostering employee motivation to enhance organizational performance and public service quality. The study provides practical implications for public sector managers in designing strategies to improve employee performance and organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

The limited participation of Village-Owned Enterprises (Badan Usaha Milik Desa, hereafter BUM Desa) in national food distribution networks constitutes a critical governance challenge in Indonesia: as of 2024, only five of 419 BUM Desa in Bojonegoro Regency had established formal partnerships with the State Logistics Agency (Perum Bulog). This study examines the governance of the BUM Desa–Perum Bulog partnership under the Food Supply and Price Stabilization Program (Stabilisasi Pasokan dan Harga Pangan, SPHP), applying the Integrative Framework for Collaborative Governance developed by Emerson, Nabatchi, and Balogh (2012) in combination with the Matrix of Alliances and Conflicts: Tactics, Objectives, and Recommendations (MACTOR) analytical method. A descriptive qualitative design was employed; data were generated through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and document analysis, and were interpreted using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña (2014) interactive model. The findings show that, while the partnership is functionally operational, it remains predominantly transactional. Across the four collaborative dimensions, drivers are convergent and strong; principled engagement is top-down and lacks deliberative depth; shared motivation is grounded in an organically constructed track record of performance integrity; and capacity for joint action emerges as the weakest dimension, constrained by limited human resources, disproportionate logistical burdens, and the absence of shared standard operating procedures. MACTOR analysis confirms a high degree of interest convergence between Bulog and BUM Desa, yet indicates that collective capacity for joint action requires systematic institutional strengthening. The study contributes to collaborative governance scholarship by integrating a diagnostic (Emerson et al.) and a strategic-relational (MACTOR) framework at the village scale, and by evidencing how state–village institutional asymmetries reshape the operation of principled engagement and joint-action capacity in a Global South food-governance setting. Concrete, evidence-based recommendations are offered for Perum Bulog, BUM Desa, the Department of Community Empowerment and Villages (DPMD), village governments, the National Food Agency, and the Ministry of Villages.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of employer branding and career development on employee retention with job satisfaction as a mediating variable among Generation Z employees in the Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The high turnover rate among Generation Z has become a significant challenge for organizations, making it important to identify factors that influence their retention. A quantitative research design was employed using a survey method involving 100 Generation Z employees with a working tenure of 3 months to 1 year, selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.1.1.8. The findings reveal that employer branding and career development have a positive and significant effect on both job satisfaction and employee retention. Career development is identified as the most dominant predictor of employee retention. In addition, job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on employee retention and partially mediates the relationship between employer branding and career development on employee retention. The model demonstrates strong explanatory power with an R² value of 0.755, indicating substantial predictive relevance. These findings highlight that effective retention strategies for Generation Z require the integration of strong employer branding, structured career development systems, and sustained improvement in job satisfaction. This study contributes to Human Resource Management literature by providing empirical evidence on the importance of combining organizational attractiveness and career growth opportunities to retain young employees in a competitive labor market.

Abstract

This study critically examines the modernization of social dialogue through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Indonesian business organizations. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the research utilizes a multiple case study design involving four organizations from the manufacturing, plantation, energy, and financial services sectors. Data collection methods include semi-structured interviews, targeted observations, focus group discussions, and reviews of sustainability reports, CSR documents, regulations, and relevant literature. A total of 24 informants participated, including CSR managers, industrial relations staff, worker representatives, beneficiary communities, local government officials, and civil society organization members. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify patterns related to participation, information transparency, communication equity, complaint resolution, and social outcomes. Findings indicate that CSR initiatives provide substantial benefits through business training, education, health services, financial literacy programs, environmental stewardship, and local economic partnerships. However, stakeholder dialogue remains uneven, as workers and community members are often involved only after program designs are complete. Additionally, complaint mechanisms frequently lack clear response timelines, designated responsible parties, and follow-up reports. While digital channels improve communication efficiency, in-person meetings are still necessary, particularly for groups with limited digital literacy. This research highlights the potential of CSR to enhance social dialogue when stakeholders are actively engaged from the outset.

Abstract

This study examines how perceived usefulness for health (PUFH), social-adjustive function (SAF), and value-expressive function (VEF) affect purchase intentions regarding Apple Watch products in Bandung. The research addresses fluctuating consumer interest, as the Apple Watch, though a market leader, has seen a decline in the Top Brand index. A quantitative survey was administered to 124 purposively selected participants who were at least 17 years old and had prior familiarity with Apple Watch products. The dataset was evaluated through multiple linear regression using SPSS version 25. All independent variables showed positive and statistically significant effects on purchase intention, both separately and jointly. VEF emerged as the most influential predictor, followed by PUFH and SAF. These findings suggest that both functional health benefits and the motivations for self-expression and social approval shape consumers' decisions to purchase an Apple Watch. This research strengthens the combined application of the Technology Acceptance Model and the Functional Theory of Attitudes. Applying these frameworks to wearable technology research provides practical insights for marketing strategies that address functional, social, and self-expressive considerations.

Abstract

The National Zakat Amil Institutions (LAZNAS) play a vital role in Indonesia's zakat ecosystem as independent non-governmental organizations connecting muzakki with beneficiaries nationwide, and official websites have become a primary medium through which they communicate identity, programs, and fund management accountability to the public. This study examines digital disclosure patterns across all 15 nationally licensed LAZNAS websites through qualitative content analysis conducted in June 2026, using a five-dimensional rubric adapted from global NPO web disclosure frameworks and enriched with Islamic accountability principles. Findings reveal considerable variation across dimensions and websites, with program reporting the most consistent and financial transparency the most varied. A fund efficiency summary is not yet explicitly available on any website in the sample, reflecting the absence of sectoral norms or regulatory provisions encouraging this type of public digital disclosure, and more than half of the websites face technical barriers that limit public accessibility. The study proposes technical website accessibility as a distinct analytical dimension in Islamic philanthropy web disclosure research and identifies innovative practices with potential for broader sectoral adoption.
