Abstract

Restaurants require integrated information management to connect ordering, payment, kitchen operations, sales transactions, and raw material management. At Adamsafee Bakery, Resto, and Cafe (ABRC), these activities required more structured information management to support restaurant operations and raw material handling. This study aims to develop a Web-Based Restaurant Management Information System at ABRC that integrates restaurant operational processes and applies the First in First Out (FIFO) method to raw material management. The study employed the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature study, while system design used Unified Modeling Language (UML). The implemented system supports ordering, payment, cashier order management, kitchen order management, raw material purchasing, material usage, and an owner dashboard. FIFO uses inventory receipt dates to determine the priority sequence of material usage, with recipe data providing the required material quantities for ordered menu items. Black-box Testing was conducted to examine the implemented system functions and FIFO mechanism based on specified testing scenarios. The results indicate that the tested functions operated according to their expected outputs, including the FIFO mechanism that prioritizes materials according to their receipt-date sequence. The study concludes that the implemented system integrates restaurant operational processes with raw material management and provides functional support for FIFO-based material usage. Quantitative impacts on operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, costs, material waste, and overall performance were not measured and therefore require further evaluation.

Abstract

Tourism micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia's priority tourism destinations face a widening gap between the digital expectations of travellers and their conventional business models. This study examines whether digital transformation mediates the relationship between dynamic capabilities and strategic adaptation among tourism MSMEs in the Bunaken area, North Sulawesi. An explanatory quantitative design was applied to data collected from 200 owners or managers of accommodation, culinary and tour service businesses selected through purposive sampling. Data were analysed using partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) with 5,000 bootstrap subsamples. The results show that dynamic capabilities positively influence digital transformation and strategic adaptation, while digital transformation positively influences strategic adaptation. Digital transformation significantly mediates the relationship between dynamic capabilities and strategic adaptation, with an indirect effect of β = 0.242 and complementary partial mediation, accounting for 52.3 per cent of the total effect. Descriptive findings reveal a persistent capability–implementation gap: dynamic capabilities are relatively stronger than digital transformation and strategic adaptation. Digital culture also exceeds technology adoption and business process change, suggesting that willingness to transform has developed faster than actual implementation. The findings indicate that digital transformation serves as a key mechanism through which managerial capabilities are translated into strategic adaptation. For tourism MSMEs in island destinations, digital training is therefore unlikely to generate substantial returns without improvements in basic infrastructure, particularly electricity reliability and affordable data access.

Abstract

For microenterprises in Kendal Regency, relying on manual inventory recording leads to severe supply chain inefficiencies, such as substantial stock discrepancies, frequent stockouts, order fulfillment delays, and unmapped inventory waste. To overcome these operational obstacles, this project aims to develop, deploy, and statistically evaluate a tiered, ultra-low-cost inventory system model that integrates Internet of Things (IoT) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies. The concept is especially designed to accommodate micro-scale firms' severe resource limitations. Over the course of a 12-week intervention period, empirical data were collected from 60 microenterprises in three critical districts (Kendal, Kaliwungu, and Weleri) using a quantitative technique with a quasi-experimental single-group pretest-posttest design. An Extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) survey that included Infrastructure Readiness and Cost Support elements was used in conjunction with this empirical research. Multiple linear regression and paired sample t-tests were used to analyze the data. The operational results showed dramatic performance gains: monthly stocktaking time lowered by 72.07% (from 8.52 to 2.38 hours), monthly stockout frequency decreased from 5.8 to 1.6 events, and mean stock accuracy increased from 71.4% to 94.2%. Additionally, inventory shrinkage fell from 4.12% to 1.18%, order fulfillment lead time decreased by 57.18%, and inventory turnover ratio increased from 3.20 to 5.42 times annually (p < 0.001 for all parameters). Perceived usefulness (beta = 0.418) and infrastructure readiness (beta = 0.352) were found to be the most significant predictors of continuous usage intention by regression analysis (R^2 = 0.684). The study's main contribution is the first field-tested empirical validation of an ultra-low-cost RFID-IoT architecture (< 115 per node) designed exclusively for independent microenterprises within semi-urban industrial buffer zones. This fills a significant vacuum in the literature. These results give local authorities strategic policy frameworks for the digitalization of MSMEs in the region and provide practical empirical data for the use of supply chain technology.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of Food Information Quality and Delivery Offline Satisfaction on Attitudinal Loyalty, both directly and through Perceived Usefulness, among GoFood users in Bandung City. A quantitative approach was employed through a survey of 146 GoFood users selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, and the Sobel z statistic with SPSS version 26. The results show that Food Information Quality and Delivery Offline Satisfaction have positive and significant effects on Perceived Usefulness. Food Information Quality, Delivery Offline Satisfaction, and Perceived Usefulness also have positive and significant effects on Attitudinal Loyalty. Delivery Offline Satisfaction is the strongest direct predictor of Attitudinal Loyalty, with a standardized beta of 0.437. The model explains 49.7% of the variance in Perceived Usefulness and 75.4% of the variance in Attitudinal Loyalty. The Sobel z statistic confirms that Perceived Usefulness significantly mediates the effects of Food Information Quality and Delivery Offline Satisfaction on Attitudinal Loyalty. These findings highlight the importance of integrating digital information quality and offline delivery experience to strengthen perceived usefulness and attitudinal loyalty in online food delivery services.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of Tri Hita Karana culture and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on organizational performance through organizational commitment at Perumda Air Minum Tirta Hita Buleleng. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires from 178 employees. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4. The findings reveal that Tri Hita Karana culture significantly affects organizational commitment and organizational performance. Similarly, CSR significantly affects organizational commitment and organizational performance. However, organizational commitment does not significantly affect organizational performance. Furthermore, organizational commitment does not significantly mediate the effects of Tri Hita Karana culture or CSR on organizational performance. These findings indicate that Tri Hita Karana culture and CSR contribute directly to organizational performance, while organizational commitment alone may not be sufficient to translate these values and practices into improved performance. The study highlights the importance of strengthening systems for sustainable organizational performance.

Abstract

Digital transformation has changed the way service companies build relationships with consumers. Digital business strategies are no longer solely focused on marketing but also on creating customer experiences that build trust. This study aims to analyze how digital business strategies are implemented to build customer trust through digital customer experiences at PT Global Dewata, a tour and travel service company in Bali. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with four informants: the General Manager, Marketing staff, Customer Service staff, and customers, as well as through observation and documentation. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique based on their involvement and experience with digital business activities, marketing, service, and the use of the company's services. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that PT Global Dewata has implemented an integrated digital business strategy through the company website, social media, Google Ads, Email Blasts, and WhatsApp Blasts. This strategy shapes the digital customer experience through five main aspects: ease of access to information, responsive communication, professionalism of service, ease of transactions, and consistency of service. Positive experiences formed through the interaction between digital technology and quality human service contribute to the formation of consumer trust. This study confirms that Digital Customer Experience acts as a bridging mechanism between Digital Business Strategy and Consumer Trust. These findings indicate that the success of digital business strategies in tour and travel service companies is determined not only by the utilization of digital platforms, but also by the company's ability to integrate technology with consistent communication and service quality. This research is limited to a case study of one company with a limited number of informants, so the findings are contextual and not intended to be statistically generalized.

Abstract

The rapid growth of TikTok in the beauty service industry has created a trust paradox, in which highly edited visual content may increase consumer skepticism. This study aims to analyze the role of User-Generated Content (UGC) in building consumer trust and supporting booking decisions for Makeup Artist (MUA) services on TikTok through the AISAS model and Trust Transfer Theory. A qualitative netnography approach was employed through non-participant observation of public TikTok content. The dataset consisted of 15 MUA accounts, 30 official portfolio videos, 25 UGC videos, and 150 user comments collected over a six-month observation period. Data were analyzed using thematic coding and the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings indicate that visual authenticity, particularly the presentation of real skin texture without excessive filters, reduces consumer skepticism. Among 150 coded comments, 90 comments (60.0%) contained Action indicators such as availability inquiries, price requests, and booking intentions. UGC also facilitates horizontal trust transfer from previous clients to prospective customers. Post-purchase sharing is associated with satisfaction, altruism, authenticity validation, and reciprocity. UGC functions as an important trust-building mechanism and final confirmation stage in consumers’ booking decisions. The findings extend the application of AISAS and Trust Transfer Theory in short-video service marketing.
