Abstract

The development of social media has transformed the way Wedding Organizers (WOs) communicate with potential consumers. Short-video content on TikTok and Instagram Reels serves not only as a promotional medium but also as an educational medium and digital portfolio for delivering information, showcasing work results, and building trust. This study aims to analyze the role of short-video content as an educational medium and digital portfolio in shaping purchase intention for Wedding Organizer services in Denpasar, Bali. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving 14 informants selected through purposive sampling, consisting of WO owners or managers, social media administrators, and consumers or potential consumers. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation, and were analyzed using thematic analysis through the stages of data reduction, coding, categorization, theme identification, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that educational content helps potential consumers understand wedding preparation, while digital portfolios provide visual evidence of the WO's experience, creativity, professionalism, and service quality. These two forms of content complement each other in building potential consumers' understanding, trust, and interest. Educational content tends to play a more prominent role as an initial trigger for interest and information seeking, while digital portfolios strengthen consideration by providing visual evidence of previous work. These findings indicate that combining educational content and digital portfolios can serve as a relevant short-video marketing strategy for Wedding Organizer services.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) on the performance of food and beverage micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bandung City, Indonesia, with Competitive Advantage as a mediating variable. A quantitative explanatory survey design was employed, with data collected through structured questionnaires from 100 owners and managers of food and beverage MSMEs using purposive sampling and analyzed via Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings show that SRM and CRM have positive and significant effects on Competitive Advantage, but neither directly affects MSME Performance; their effects are fully mediated by Competitive Advantage, which itself has the strongest direct effect on performance (β = 0.691). SRM contributes more strongly to Competitive Advantage than CRM (β = 0.563 vs. β = 0.351). These findings extend relationship management literature by clarifying Competitive Advantage's role as the primary mechanism linking SRM and CRM to MSME performance, and suggest that owners should direct relationship-management efforts explicitly toward building differentiation, cost efficiency, and service quality rather than treating them as performance drivers in themselves.

Abstract

Managing inventory effectively remains a significant challenge for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), especially when processes for recording, storing, and procuring lack a structured control system. Such deficiencies can result in mismatches between physical stock and administrative records, prolonged product search times, and inaccuracies in identifying purchasing needs. This study investigates the implementation of a Lean Logistics framework rooted in Lean Six Sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) to enhance inventory efficiency in SMEs. Utilizing a descriptive analytical approach, data were gathered through observations of procurement activities, goods receipt, storage, stock recording, product distribution, interviews with owners and employees, and inventory documentation. Performance metrics included Inventory Turnover (IT), Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA), Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), and Lead Time. Results indicate that adopting Lean Logistics practices, such as 5S, Kanban, demand forecasting, and inventory control, led to notable improvements. Inventory Turnover rose from 2.18 to 4.35 times per year, IRA increased from 79.5% to 95.8%, MAPE decreased from 23.8% to 8.9%, and Lead Time was reduced from 5 days to 2 days.

Abstract

When an organization cannot contest a resource loss, what determines whether its response builds capability or merely improves the reported indicator? This study examines Central Java Province, Indonesia, whose two largest tax instruments were statutorily reassigned to lower tier jurisdictions in January 2025, cutting provincial tax revenue by 19.51% in a single year. The province responded with a tax amnesty and reported a 15.96% reduction in its receivables stock. Reconciling the disclosed movements in the allowance for doubtful receivables implies write-offs of approximately IDR 656.91 billion against a reported stock reduction of IDR 480.34 billion, which would mean that receivables excluding derecognition grew by roughly IDR 176.57 billion. The reconciliation is a derived estimate rather than a reported figure, and the paper states the conditions under which it would not hold. The ratio that measures collection capability, which is not sensitive to those conditions, deteriorated from 20.39% to 21.29% of annual tax revenue. A within case comparison sharpens the interpretation: in the same organization and the same year, user charges reached 123.05% of target while taxes reached 91.81%, indicating that the shortfall was instrument-specific rather than organization wide. The study theorizes this as means ends decoupling under an uncontestable shock and proposes, for subsequent testing, three conditions that should make an indicator directed response more likely than a capability-directed one.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of digital financial literacy on the financial performance and business sustainability of culinary MSMEs in Balikpapan City. A quantitative design was used, drawing on primary data collected through questionnaires from 46 owners or managers of culinary MSMEs. Respondents were selected through purposive sampling with criteria that required at least one year of business operation, direct involvement in financial management or decision-making, and active use of digital financial services in business activities. Data were gathered using a five-point Likert scale. The analysis included descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, normality testing, heteroscedasticity testing, simple linear regression, t-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The findings indicate that digital financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial performance, with a coefficient of 0.681, a t-value of 5.519, and a significance level of 0.000. The R² value of 0.464 suggests that digital financial literacy accounts for 46.4% of the variation in financial performance. The test on business sustainability shows a coefficient of 0.724, a t-value of 7.132, and a significance level of 0.000, with an R² value of 0.524. These results suggest that stronger understanding and use of digital financial services are associated with better financial management and a greater ability to maintain business operations. The findings apply to the respondents included in the study and cannot yet be generalized to all culinary MSMEs in Balikpapan City.

Abstract

The development of e-commerce encourages UMKM actors to utilize digital marketing and improve service quality to create consumer satisfaction and trust. This study aims “to analyze the influence of digital marketing and service quality on consumer satisfaction with trust as a mediating variable for UMKM products on Shopee.” Using an associative causal study design, the research employs a quantitative technique. Using a purposive selection technique, 150 respondents who had bought UMKM products on Shopee were sent online questionnaires to fill out. SEM-PLS with the assistance of SmartPLS four was used to analyze the data. The research results show that digital marketing has a positive and significant impact on consumer satisfaction and consumer trust. Service quality has a positive and significant impact on trust, but does not have a significant impact on consumer satisfaction. Trust has been proven to have a positive and significant impact on consumer satisfaction and is the variable with the strongest influence in the research model. More than that, trust can operate as a mediator between digital marketing and customer contentment, and between service quality and customer satisfaction, at least in part. This study's results suggest that in order to maintainably increase consumer happiness, UMKM actors should optimize their digital marketing tactics and work to improve the quality of their services. Academics and industry professionals alike can use this study as a foundation for their digital marketing strategies for e-commerce websites.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine, analyze, and synthesize the influence of training, human resources (HR), and digital organizational culture on the effectiveness of Human Resource Information System (HRIS) implementation in transportation and logistics companies in Indonesia. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method. The data consist of secondary sources obtained from scientific articles and previous research published in reputable journals and indexed academic databases, including Scopus, Springer, Sage, Elsevier, Emerald, Web of Science, EBSCO, Copernicus, and SINTA. The findings indicate that training, human resources, and digital organizational culture contribute to effective HRIS implementation by strengthening employee competencies, supporting organizational readiness, and fostering digital adoption. However, this study is limited to descriptive conceptual analysis based on secondary literature published between 2021 and 2026. Therefore, the findings have not been empirically validated through quantitative testing within a specific logistics corporation. In addition, the study does not examine external macro-level factors, such as domestic cargo rate volatility, government regulations, technological infrastructure, and industry dynamics, which may influence HRIS implementation.

Abstract

This study analyzes institutional buyers’ need for and intention to adopt B2B agricultural e-commerce in Manado City and the factors shaping that intention, using UTAUT extended with Trust. A quantitative explanatory approach was applied to institutional buyers across sectors including restaurants/cafes, hotels, hospitals, catering, modern markets and MBG kitchens; 115 of 120 responses were retained after screening for careless responding and analyzed by PLS-SEM in SmartPLS 4, with nine hypotheses tested via 5,000-subsample bootstrapping. Adoption intention is predominantly low: mean Behavioral Intention is 1.96 on a 1–5 scale (SD = 0.75), with 80.9% of respondents low or very low, 13.0% moderate and 6.1% high. Seven of nine hypotheses were supported. Ranked by total effect, the determinants are Effort Expectancy (β = 0.345; p = 0.003), Facilitating Conditions (β = 0.291; p = 0.020), Social Influence (β = 0.250; p = 0.001) and Trust (β = 0.235; p = 0.020). Performance Expectancy has no significant direct effect (β = −0.033; p = 0.803) but is the strongest antecedent of Trust (β = 0.438; p < 0.001), producing full mediation (indirect β = 0.103; p = 0.019). The model explains R² = 0.653 of Behavioral Intention and R² = 0.669 of Trust. Developers and local government should prioritize interface simplicity, logistics reliability and trust infrastructure over feature or price competition. Findings should be read with caution given narrow discriminant margins and a pronounced floor effect.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the intensity of e-wallet usage in Indonesia. The study population comprises respondents who use digital wallets. The research employs the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. Using data from 98 respondents, this study evaluates the impact of economic benefits, transaction speed, convenience, security risks, financial risks, and operational risks on users' perceived benefits and perceived risks, and their subsequent effect on the intensity of e-wallet usage. Additionally, the study examines the role of gender as a moderating factor in the relationship between perceived benefits and perceived risks and the intensity of usage. The results reveal that economic benefits, transaction speed, and convenience have a positive influence on perceived benefits. Security risks, financial risks, and operational risks positively influence perceived risks. Subsequently, perceived benefits have a positive effect on usage intensity, while perceived risks negatively affect usage intensity. Gender moderates the relationship between perceived benefits and usage intensity, with the influence of perceived benefits being stronger among female users. However, gender does not moderate the relationship between perceived risks and usage intensity. The managerial implications of this study indicate that e-wallet service providers need to develop more specific marketing strategies to cater to the preferences of female users.
