Abstract

The lifestyle of the Bugis people has shifted since the presence of Islam. The Bugis people no longer refer to local traditions and customs but are starting to pay attention to Islamic values. So that the movement of the Bugis community cannot be separated from Bugis traditions or customs and Islamic teachings. The well-known Bugis culture is Panngaderreng, the five values of life resulting from joint deliberations on trades and Islamic studies. The panngaderreng formulation requires that Islam be placed as a teaching that must be side by side with the customs and culture of the Bugis community in any sector. It is different from the pilgrimage ritual. In the Bugis tribe, women get a more significant opportunities than men. This is based on the level of interest of Bugis women in the pilgrimage ritual. They place Hajj as a religious status that has a delay because Islamic teachings have only been echoed in this new era compared to their traditions or customs. The method used in this paper is to use a qualitative approach with a literature review (literature review). A literature study was conducted through written data using content analysis. This technique helps obtain a theoretical basis by reviewing and studying books, documents, and research results related to the social mobility of Bugis women.

There are several types of mythical forms, namely cosmogony myths, origin myths, myths of gods, androgynous myths, and myths of the end of the world. In relation to religion, myths have a very important role. A myth is a story told to establish a particular belief, act as a novice event in a ceremony or rite, or as a fixed model of social or religious behavior. Abstract

Gender equality is still an important and strategic issue to discuss in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the gender role attitudes of students in the Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Higher Education (PTMA) environment because PTMA students are agents of change and are tasked with spreading the Muhammadiyah Islamic preaching committed to gender equality and justice. The research method used quantitative with respondents in this study totaling 200 students in various PTMA, 136 women and 64 men. The instruments used in this study were constructed by the researcher and consisted of five dimensions: religion, marriage and family, social work, work, and education. The results of this study indicate that in general, the gender role attitudes of students in the PTMA environment are more egalitarian than traditional gender roles, meaning that they already have a gender role perspective based on equality. However, there is still a gender bias, such as the view of the same potential between women and men in education; religious authority (ulama) towards women is not the same as men; and opportunities for public leadership for women. The implications of the findings of this study will be discussed further.

Abstract

This qualitative research aims to identify the role of Islamic financial literacy and local wisdom in using Sharia banking products. The study employs a qualitative method through a systematic literature review, sourcing data from credible journals with national and international indexes. The collected data is analyzed using the VOSviewer tool, which systematically maps trends and bibliometric networks and visualizes overlay maps and research density levels. The findings indicate that Islamic financial literacy and local wisdom significantly influence financial decisions to use Sharia banking products wherever these banks operate. In addition, local values have fundamental values that are integrated with the operational principles of Sharia banking so that it becomes a meeting point between Sharia banking and local wisdom that is owned by the community so that people in choosing Sharia banking products as a financial decision are not only driven by values. Sharia is also greatly influenced by culture.

Abstract

Existentialism is a philosophical doctrine that has the basis of human existence, then enters the field of literature as one of the best intellectuals and arts to reach humans. Jean Paul Sartre (1905-1980) as the triumphant bearer who declared himself an atheist existentialist. The existence of man precedes his essence as man determines his own nature freely. Based on man's freedom in creating his own essence, Sartre formulated "man is nothing else but that which he makes of himself" which in existentialism itself has the concept of commitment (الإلتزام). Existentialists explain that any action done by humans is the basis of human commitment itself. The relationship between existentialism and literature is proven that some existentialist figures play a role in writing literature, even some of them understand about literature. So is the work of Abd al-Rahman Badawi as an Arab writer with existentialism.
