Abstract

Colitis is an acute or chronic inflammation of the colon. The gold standard for diagnosis and monitoring of disease activity in colitis patients is endoscopy combined with pathology biopsy. However, endoscopy has disadvantages related to invasiveness, cost, and feasibility of use for long-term follow-up. The neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio is a simple biomarker that can serve as a useful biomarker for diagnosing and predicting mucosal inflammation in colitis. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between the number of neutrophil-lymphocyte ratios and the appearance of colitis. This research is a cross-sectional observational analytical research. In this study, 44 medical record data were used. A total of 44 colitis medical record data for the 2022-2023 period were collected. The largest age group is 61-70 years with 11 people (25%), based on the gender group the largest is male with 30 people (68.2%), and based on histopathology the largest is 25 (56.8%) patients. who suffers from chronic colitis. However, in the study, there was no relationship between the neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio and the appearance of colitis, P = 0.22 (P value> 0.05) and the Prevalence Ratio 95% CI 1,436 (0,832-2,476). Based on the results of this study, the majority of patients are male, based on the patient's age, the majority is between 61-70 years, and based on the histopathology picture, the majority is chronic colitis. However, in the study, there was no relationship between the neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio and the appearance of colitis, P = 0.22 (P value > 0.05), and the 95% Prevalence Ratio was 1,436 (0,832-2,476).

Abstract

The successful implementation of the policy of the Minister of Education, Research and Technology Regulation Article 18 Paragraph 9 Number 53 of 2023 is influenced by the delivery of information and communication by policy actors. Moreover,And other educational institutions are increasing information dissemination efforts and expanding the scope of their programs. This research aims to determine how implementers carry out information implementation, clarity, and consistency through communication studies. The research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach carried out through observations and interviews for three months at three universities in Sumbawa Regency with informants determined through purposive sampling, intended to provide an accurate picture of a particular situation or the relationship between various actual phenomena. Regularly. Information has been provided, but the implementation still needs to run optimally; this can be seen from the uneven delivery of information to technical implementers. The provision of information could have been better. Namely, the central institution still needs to conduct direct outreach to the targets or target objects by implementing technical UPTs. Meanwhile, academic parties at the University are waiting while studying the aims and objectives of the policy. It is hoped that central institutions will optimize the delivery of information and communication.

Abstract

This research was motivated by problems that stemmed from the non-implementation of the Pamsimas program in Bomo Village, Blimbingsari District, Banyuwangi Regency even though a building had been provided, as well as the presence of damaged or incomplete equipment in the Pamsimas building so that the implementation of the program was hampered. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of village development programs in Blimbingsari District, especially through community-based drinking water and sanitation programs, with a focus on changes in Bomo Village. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type. The data collection techniques were interviews and observations based on Pamsimas program data in Bomo Village. The results of research conducted using several indicators proposed by George Edward III (1980), namely communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure, show that implementation, communication is very important and plays an important role in knowing what the implementer must do. Disposition as an implementing attitude. The important thing about disposition variables is; bureaucratic appointments, and incentives. If the Bomo Village Government wants to get effective results, its officials must not only know but also have the ability to implement it. There are 2 main characteristics of a bureaucratic structure, namely; standard operating procedures, and fragmentation. Bureaucratic structure can influence the successful implementation of a policy. Policy implementation is a quite complex process that requires strong and conductive bureaucratic cooperation. The community-based drinking water and sanitation program (pamsimas) in Bomo village, Blimbingsari subdistrict, Banyuwangi district has not been running well and the implementation process is still not optimal because the community still complains about the pamsimas program system.

The object of this research is the competency factors of project managers that influence construction project performance. This research was conducted at contractor companies domiciled in the Banda Aceh City area. The data sources used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The population of contractors at small, medium and large qualification levels is 71 contractors. The total sample was 42 contractors. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The variables used in this research include the independent variable (X) and the dependent variable (Y). The data analysis used in this research is descriptive, simple correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that knowledge, skills, and attitudes have a solid relationship. In contrast, management has a high relationship with project performance achievement. Overall, the project manager's competency factor significantly affects project performance, reaching 94.9%. Management is the most dominant competency factor influencing the achievement of project performance in Banda Aceh City. Thus, increasing the competence of project managers, especially in management, is expected to improve the quality of construction project implementation in the region.

Abstract

Forest fires in Indonesia have become an annual recurring event, considering that Indonesia is a member of the Paris Agreement and ratified the agreement. Thus, Indonesia must be able to commit to the contents of the contract. This research uses a qualitative method and will then be analyzed using the concepts that have been selected. The author uses secondary data with search techniques and data collection through written sources. It is understood that the Government has successfully developed various plans to reduce forest fires by the Paris Agreement commitments. However, there is hesitation in developing effective climate action, and shortcomings emerge, thus reinforcing that the lack of seriousness of this effort can affect Indonesia's Contribution to global efforts. The Government needs to be more serious in carrying out the commitments that have been made in a structured manner and hopes that it can resolve this case as well and as wisely as possible.

Abstract

The 2016 murder case of Wayan Mirna Salihin in a Jakarta cafe sent shockwaves across Indonesia. Mirna tragically passed away after consuming coffee suspected of being laced with cyanide. Jessica Wongso, her friend, received a life sentence for the crime. The case garnered widespread attention due to the cyanide's involvement, the intricate relationship between Jessica and Mirna, and the contentious trial proceedings. Public outcry and debates over the evidence's reliability sparked inquiries into potential hidden motives. This study delves into uncovering these concealed factors, employing qualitative methodologies and analyzing psychological, social, cultural, and environmental aspects. By doing so, it aims to shed light on Jessica's motivations and the context surrounding her actions, thereby contributing to public comprehension and legal discourse. Despite Jessica's conviction, doubts persist, particularly regarding her motives and the chain of causality. Police investigations relied on coffee orders and Jessica's cyanide purchase, yet inconsistencies in DNA testing and unclear motives fueled skepticism. Exploring causality helps discern cause-and-effect relationships, identify underlying issues, assess evidence, prompt further investigations, and unveil concealed truths. Beyond Jessica's culpability, questions linger regarding cyanide's broader implications, potential third-party involvement, Jessica's psychological profile, and the clarity of causality. This case underscores the intricacies of real-life causality, emphasizing the importance of a nuanced understanding in ensuring justice prevails.

This type of research is experimental research in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR) using an ABAB design. The subject of this research was one of the TK X students in Surabaya. Data collection techniques in this research used pretest and posttest. The data obtained was analyzed using comparative descriptive. The results of the research show that the grades obtained by children have increased from before. At the first baseline the score was 2, and after the first intervention the child's score increased to 4.
