Abstract

The ability of teachers to make questions and in compiling a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) that contains elements of high-level thinking skills is something that absolutely must have. Through training activities on Higher Level Thinking Skills (HOTS), it is expected that science teachers in elementary schools are able to implement these thinking skills to students in their respective schools. For teachers here is a field to explore their abilities by trying to train high-level thinking skills in elementary school students. With sufficient levels of difficulty and dynamic learning activities, students must be able to develop their minds to understand the material being studied, not enough just to follow the instructions in the book, but they also need to be able to develop each stage of learning by processing existing data and information to be developed in more ways of thinking, so that they can find various other concepts, as innovative steps.

Abstract

This study aims to see the function of using the software as a non-verbal strategy to value the artwork's value in design and videography. In editing software, several tools will be used to support the creation of non-verbal artistic values. This study used a descriptive method to collect data and describe how problems in using editing software often occur because a portion of an editing application can be used perfectly to make a form of art value less maximal. In an editing software, the research results show that the use of editing software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere is a support for the creation of a form of art so that it is easy to express creative ideas and apply them in the form of non-verbal artistic values. Notifying the function and use of editing software in a work of art will facilitate and utilize non-verbal strategy editing software application in the value of art such as design and videography.

The qualitative approach was also used in this study to obtain the data. The results show that the difficulty faced by BPBD Majene is in communication between various parties involved in disaster management and recording disaster data. It is due to the complex conditions of the Majene earthquake and difficult coordination. So that in developing this information system is expected to provide easy access by users. In conclusion, with this information system, they can share information by the access rights in the information system.

Abstract

This research aims at modeling how the technology of communication works within a given streaming platform. In this paper, the descriptive qualitative method was used wherein data collection is done by observing multiple channels of varying sizes on service sites such as Twitch, followed by a description of how the technology facilitates communication between the participants. The results show that there are two available methods to communicate, namely Information Resources Catalogue (IRC) chat supported by the platform, and video or audio call, which is done by external applications and funneled to the stream. These results indicate that with the website as a platform, monomodal communication can happen by text, cross-modal communication can happen by video and text, and finally, a hybrid of the cross and monomodal communication can happen wherein at least three participants are involved. Thus, this relatively new technology used by the streaming platform opens many avenues of communication.
