Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between work discipline and the performance of the State Civil Apparatus. The method used in this research is a survey method, the form of this research is descriptive quantitative. The sampling method is saturated sample in this research is 98 respondents. The data collection method used a questionnaire and documentation study. The analysis technique uses simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the State Civil Service Apparatus.

Abstract

This paper reports on a survey of perception parents and teachers on student with learning disabilities (SLD) in Malaysia. The participants for this study consisted of 336 parents of SLD and 248 teachers who teach SLD in Selangor. The results showed that parents and teachers agreed that students of SLD had still low self-esteem and they did not have accurate and enough information for their educational progress. The paper concludes that further program to assist the special education program in Malaysia is required to address these shortcomings, and that, the use of ICT may be the solution for the better treatment of SLD in Malaysia. Collaboration among parents, teachers, and the government is needed to develop this program to improve special education in Malaysia.

Abstract

Students with Learning Disabilities (SLD) have the equal rights to give services for improving their knowledge, skills, and attitudes for their future career. The aims of this study is to identify activities and issues of career transition program faced by students with learning disabilities in various situations. The method used in this study is qualitative by using conceptual approach as initial review several previous research. The study shows that several activities of career transition program have been conducted to prepare students with learning disabilities to working situation, such as (1) Psychometric exam; (2) Collaboration of stakeholders; (3) Program information; (4) Vocational education; and (5) Social relationships. Some issues have been highlighted related to career transition program, such as: (1) Career choices; (2) Experience; (3) Preference; (4) interest; and (5) Parent`s consideration. The conclusion of this study that it is needed the improvement in career transition program to provide opportunities to students with learning disabilities obtaining appropriate job. It is recommended to stake holders and policy maker to have a look the phenomena and issues related to career transition program. They should be more involved to find out the solution to carry out the quality life for students with learning disabilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of audio cassette learning media towards English listening skills at fifth grade elementary school students. This research uses a quantitative approach. This study used the Quasi-Experimental Design with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study population was the entire fifth grade of elementary school students, with the fifth-grade sample divided into two groups, namely the experimental class and the control class. The sampling technique was done randomly. In the data collection technique, the researcher used tests. Data analysis technique was done using T-test. The results showed that the post-test results for the experimental class was 76.67 and the control class was 61.61 and a value of 4.0. This means that there is a significant difference between the post-test results of the experimental class using audio cassette learning media and the control class using the conventional teaching method. So that, it can be concluded that there is an effect of audio cassette learning media towards English listening skills at the fifth grade students of SDN Kuta Baru 1 Tangerang Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Student Facilitator and Explaining Learning Model on English speaking skills. This study uses a quantitative approach and the type of research used is a quasi-experimental research. The population of this study was the fourth-grade students of MI Darul Ulum, totaling 54 students, while the sampling technique was carried out with a saturated sample, namely the entire population was sampled. Based on the results of research and data analysis of students who were taught by applying the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model, it affected the speaking skills of the fourth-grade students of MI Darul Ulum. This can be proven with a significant level = 0.05. From this value, it is obtained that tcount > ttable is 3.492 > 0.013, then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. So, it can be concluded that through the application of the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model students can improve speaking skills in the fourth grade of MI Darul Ulum

Abstract

The aims es of implementing the ramkye bhyea tradition are: 1) to treat the marine environment from damaging marine biota. 2) the number of fish is more for the needs of the community. (3) Improving the welfare of families in Serili together because the fish caught can be eaten and stored for a long time. 4) develop brotherly relations between communities. 4). Can be sold to neighboring village communities, 4). Build a spirit of militancy to face the harsh and difficult natural environment. This research method uses aapproach historical by trying to understand the history and development of thetradition Ramkye Bhyea in Serili Village, Marsela District, Southwest Maluku Regency in order to obtain accurate data. The results showed that Ramkye byea is a tradition of catching fish in the sea using young coconut leaves tied to rattan or rope. Ramke Bhyea is referred to as a tradition because since 1946 when ramkye bhyea was introduced with the term pulling rope, it has been maintained and carried out every year in October.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of internal control, compliance with accounting rules, and unethical behavior on the tendency of accounting fraud. The population in this study is a state-owned company in Ternate City. The sampling technique uses total sampling. The data of this study were obtained from the leadership and accounting staff. The type of data used is primary data. The method of data collection is a survey, using a questionnaire. The analysis tool uses multiple linear regression. Statistical analysis found that: 1) the effectiveness of internal control has a significant negative effect on the tendency of accounting fraud, where the significance value is 0.040 <α0.05 and -0.295 (H1 is accepted), 2) the adherence to accounting rules is negatively significant to the tendency of accounting fraud where the significance value is 0.045 <α0.05 and -0.253 (H2 accepted), 3) unethical behavior has a significant positive effect on the tendency of accounting fraud, where the significance value is 0.046 <α0.05 and 0.276 (H3 is accepted). The results showed that the effectiveness of internal control and compliance with accounting rules was significantly negative on the tendency of accounting fraud, while unethical behavior was significantly positive on the tendency of accounting fraud

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the expected field experience program (PPL) FKIP Tribuana Kalabahi University. become a consideration for the PPL program model that is in accordance with the potential and needs of education, and is also useful for perfecting the program system oriented to improving the quality of education, especially the competence of prospective educators This research is an evaluation research using the CIPP evaluation model. Respondents in this study were the Dean of FKIP, PPL Committee, PPL Students, Field Assistant Lecturers and Civil Service Teachers. Data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation studies. The data collected was then analyzed using a descriptive-qualitative method with a research design based on the CIPP evaluation model. The results of the evaluation show that the Field Experience Program (PPL) in general has met the success of the program, but there is also a need for improvement and refinement of several aspects that are evaluated.

This study is one of the ways to compile development research, namely the design stage. Abstract

There has been a change in the implementation of chemistry learning from face-to-face learning to online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Teachers and students have tried to adapt to these new conditions in order to be able to carry out active learning. This study used a descriptive study that aims to explore how students carry out chemistry learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research subjects were 55 students of Class XI MAN 3 Banda Aceh. Data was collected using an online questionnaire consisting of 18 questions. From the results of data analysis, it was concluded: most of the students were able to carry out active learning in chemistry learning well in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The implementation of an active learning that is applied gets a good category with an average percentage of 76.67%.
