Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design an Android-based application to facilitate customers in shopping for groceries. To support this research, we used a descriptive method. The approach method we used is an object-oriented systems approach, while for the system development approach, we used the prototype method. In developing this grocery shopping application, several stages have been designed as a requirement so that an application can be structurally and well prepared. These stages are software requirements analysis, design, testing, and maintenance. The results achieved are a design of an Android-based grocery shopping application with a user-friendly interface and features. With this application, it is hoped that it will be easier for people looking for groceries during this pandemic of Covid-19. The application that we built can facilitate and increase online grocery shopping activities during the Covid-19 pandemic because the systems are integrated and automated. From our perspective, many aspects can be developed from designing this application in the future

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to make a table that does not require a large space so that it can be used at home or a place that does not have a large room. The method used in this study is the Ulrich method. It is used in this study to explain the steps in designing a product. The results obtained in this study are five available concepts. The concepts are evaluated and filtered carefully so that two concepts are chosen to be developed. It is done by comparing the ranking value and weight of each concept to make it easier to use formulas to assist in the assessment process. The chosen concept will be used to design the product. With the framework specifications using hollow iron, hydraulic drive, and magnetic holder, as well as bearing as a player and wood as a table mat. In conclusion, several phases must be passed in designing a product so that the results obtained will be satisfactory.

Abstract

This study aims to design an information system that can monitor rice yields in each area in West Java. To support this research, the descriptive method was used through observation and supported by literature studies. The results showed that an information system for harvest monitoring can be the alternative solution for the government and farmers themselves. It helps the government to provide real solutions to farmers in case of a decrease in rice yields. In addition, the monitoring system may help the farmers to prevent loss. For the long-term purpose, it is expected that rice yields can always be stable in every harvest because an application information system monitors it. The website-based application to monitor agricultural products is considered effective. This research is expected to give the government input to shift from manual system to the utilization of information system.
