Abstract

Productivity, efficiency and added value are something that the industry continues to strive for to increase the competitiveness in the market. One of them is through the implementation of industry 4.0. This is also in line with the government's program in responding to technological and information developments through the launch of Making Indonesia 4.0. The same thing was also done by PT. Tridharma Kencana (TDK), an electronic equipment assembly service (EMS) company that has been established since 2002. The idea of implementing industry 4.0 at PT. TDK was poured through a concept entitled Integrated Production System, as a roadmap for implementing industry 4.0 within the company. The research was conducted using a case study approach, which was an approach used to investigate and understand an event or problem that has occurred by collecting various kinds of information which was then processed to obtain a solution so that the problems revealed can be resolved, with an emphasis on a certain depth of analysis that was greater in-depth. The research subjects targeted in this research were; BOD, Production Department, Engineering Section, IT Section, Project Section, QC Section, Warehouse Section and Maintenance Section. The objects of this research were the stages of implementation, PIC, activities and programs, system integration, and the impact or results of the implementation of industry 4.0 in the company. Continuous improvement was a production methodology commonly used in many industries. No exception at PT. Tridharma Kencana, which had run through lean manufacturing and six sigma. The development of industry 4.0 also encouraged companies to implement it through the concept of the Integrated Production System (IPS). And the results were quite significant. This can be seen from several indicators that were used as measuring tools for implementation results, using five outcome indicators, namely productivity, downtime, NTF, scrap and use of labor. Where all indicators showed the positive results which lead to increased efficiency both in terms of cost and time, increased productivity or production output and increased industrial competitiveness. This was what then provided added value for the company so that it was better able to compete in the industrial world in Indonesia

The use of social media as a IMC tool is one of the tools that is widely used to convey the company's message to its consumers. Sukokopi uses Instagram as the main social media in conducting marketing communications. This study contains an analysis of Instagram in the implementation of marketing communications on Sukokopi which has a humanist message by prioritizing local pride and Minang culture as the value of the coffee shop. This research uses qualitative methods with a constructivism paradigm. Researchers conducted interviews as a data collection technique and observed Sukokopi's Instagram. Interviews were conducted with 6 informants. The results of the research found that Sukokopi used various tools ranging from Insight as an initial analysis, Instagram ads, reels, posts in feeds and stories, interactive stickers, hashtags, and the nature of Instagram social media that is open and allows two-way communication. The message that Sukokopi wants to convey to its consumers is the comfort of the place and Minang culture as well as local coffee products that exist at the cafe. However, in delivering the message there is a gap where one of the messages, namely Minang culture, does not reach consumers completely. Sukokopi’s Instagram in Jakarta has a low level of activity and is less interactive. This causes a distant relationship between the company and consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the importance of character education for Indonesian students during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially those currently undergoing the online learning process. Character education is so important not only on campus, but at home and in the environment. Furthermore, students in higher education are no longer supervised by their parents during the learning process so that character or manners while studying are no longer things that must be considered and are considered important in distance learning. This research is a literature study sourced from library materials using a qualitative approach. The situation becomes different when classroom learning turns into distance learning and students cannot be fully monitored by lecturers and lack of participation from parents who pay less attention to character education at home.

Abstract

Based on the PO from the customer, namely the manufacture of shafts using SS 316 material, so that the estimated price calculation for the shaft fabrication process is carried out. In order to complete the work, a design/drawing shaft is made according to the acceptance criteria from the customer by the engineering team. To find out the estimated cost of the fabrication process, it is necessary to calculate the fabrication cost. The method used is a tool path simulation using CAM ESPRIT 2017. The simulation process in the CAM ESPRIT 2017 application aims to determine the estimated time required for the shaft fabrication process. The machining parameters used are Sandvik tool and standard tool. After obtaining the simulation time, it can be calculated to estimate the required cost. To determine the number and cost of the required tool, the calculation of the tool life between the Sandvik tool and the standard tool is carried out.

Abstract

Face-to-face teaching and learning in islands, remote areas, different cultures and different age levels of students will face basic problems such as communication, transportation, high costs, bringing in qualified teachers. The e-learning system is the right strategy to overcome these problems. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through Focus Group Discussion and Semi-Structured Interviews, requiring 47 participants. Using SWOT analysis, it is most often used as a tool to analyze the internal strengths and weaknesses of the organization that can be controlled as well as external opportunities and threats that are difficult to identify (Chermack and Kasshanna, 2007; Leigh, 2010). The research findings have identified 3 important components that must be prepared for an e-learning-based learning community using ICT, namely infrastructure, human resources and applications. The future of digital-based learning management requires a long-term strategic plan that can formulate the vision, mission, goals of community education institutions
