Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze how much influence leadership and work environment have on employee performance in Mustikasari Village, Bekasi City. This study uses quantitative research which is a study that aims to explain the relationship between two or more variables with a sample of 35 respondents. Data collection methods used are questionnaires, documentation and literature studies. The data processing technique uses the help of the IBM SPSS version 26.0 application program so as to get the test results from the instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, coefficient of determination test and hypothesis testing (t test and f test). The results showed that leadership and work environment had a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Based on the test results the coefficient of determination is 49.2% while the remaining 50.8% is influenced by other variables that are not included in this research model. Based on the results of the t-test (partial) and the results of the f-test (simultaneous) indicate that there is a significant influence partially or simultaneously between the variables of leadership and work environment on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of the work environment and employee performance at PT. Energia Transmedia. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The variables used in this study are the Work Environment variable (X), and the Employee Performance variable (Y). The data sources used consisted of primary data, namely data obtained directly from research respondents through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The population and sample in this study were employees of PT. Energia Transmedia. The test was conducted using SPSS 25. Based on the results of the partial test (t test) it can be concluded that the work environment variable has a significant influence on employee performance because the t-count (5.256) > t-table 277 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. The adjusted R square value obtained is 0.479, indicating that around 47.9% of the employee performance variable (Y) can be explained by the work environment variable (X). Or practically it can be said that the contribution of the work environment to the employee performance variable is 47.9%.

Abstract

Human resource planning is a very important activity to meet the needs of organizational staff as a result of organizational changes in the face of a dynamic and complex business environment. This paper aims to explain the management of human resources in improving company performance. This paper is a literature review that analyzes reference sources from journals, books and websites that discuss project management conceptually and comprehensively. This paper uses the method of collecting data in documentation, as well as various articles and books. Then analyzed using content analysis, namely by analyzing descriptive literature data or scientific analysis of the message of a premise. While the data analysis method is deductive, inductive and comparative. The findings of the paper are that human resource planning is the process of planning manpower to suit the company's needs effectively and efficiently in helping the realization of company goals. Of all the resources available in the company, human resources are very important and decisive resources. All the potentials possessed by human resources greatly affect the company's efforts to achieve its goals. The similarity of this paper with others is to discuss human resource management conceptually, but the difference is that it is accompanied by the application of human resource management in improving company performance

Abstract

Netflix is a streaming application that is very popular to young generation, Netflix allows users to access local and international movies and films with a very diverse selection. The objective of this study is to see how Netflix affects the improvement of students’ English language skills. This study used a qualitative descriptive and the data collected were analyzed using thematic analysis by incorporating interpretive description approach. A semi-structure interview with open-ended questions is used as the instrument in this study. The respondents of the study were 15 students of Universitas Advent Indonesia taken from different faculties and purposive sampling is used in selecting the respondents. There were 11 females and 4 males in this study. The results of this study indicated that the use of the Netflix application to watch foreign films has been able to improve students’ English language skills.

Abstract

The emergence of the Tiktok application makes consumers spend as much as 52 minutes to see the content on the application, one of which is the world of beauty. For business people, this application is very profitable because it can increase interest by as much as 70% every month. With the large number of Muslims in Indonesia, Muslim women are faced with several things before buying a beauty product such as its halalness and the content in it. One of them is the BPOM attribute listed on the product as information to consumers. However, LPPOM MUI stated that there are still many people who do not understand about the BPOM regulation because the public thinks that when it is certified bpom then it is halal, but not necessarily. This study was conducted to look at the influence of Tiktok marketing content and consumer halal awareness on purchasing decisions to be mediated by BPOM Attributes on Scarlett Whitening products. This type of research uses quantitative methods with descriptive statistical approaches, multiple linear analysis and path analysis (to find out the influence of mediation). The study used data from 125 Muslim respondents with the dissemination of questionnaires in the form of likert scales as primary data. Data processing uses SPSS Version 25 and sobel tests to calculate the influence of mediation. The results of this study show that the influence of (1) Tiktok marketing content has a direct effect on BPOM's attributes. (2) Halal Awareness has no influence on BPOM attributes. (3) Tiktok marketing content directly affects purchasing decisions. (4) Halal awareness has no influence on purchasing decisions. (5) BPOM attributes directly affect purchasing decisions. (6) BPOM attributes have no mediating influence on Tiktok's marketing content on purchasing decisions. (7) BPOM attributes do not have a mediating effect on halal awareness of purchasing decisions

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to use the marketplace as a product sales medium for entrepreneurs of Seyes brand t-shirts for men and women in the Shopee Marketplace, how to find obstacles and strategies to increase product sales in each marketplace according to the promo style (features) owned by the marketplace. Shopee, looking for factors from t-shirt products or fashion trends that can be used as a support for increasing sales in E-business (Shopee Marketplace), to find weaknesses and advantages of selling in the marketplace that can be used as material for evaluating global company sales (offline or online). In the research method, it has been explained that the researcher uses a qualitative approach. General strategy and explanation of strategic direction: Total score of strengths: 3.90, Total score of weakness: - 2, Total score of opportunity: 3.25, Total score of threats: - 1.20. Based on this score, the determination of the company's position can be drawn as a Swot Brand Seyes matrix described in the quadrant graph, Quadrant I with an area of 12.7 Matrix Rank I shows the priority of the Growth strategy, Quadrant III with an area of 2.4 Matrix Rank 2 shows the priority Combination , Quadrant II with an area of the Matrix – 6.5 Rank 3 shows the priority of the Stability strategy, Quadrant IV with an area of the Matrix -4.68 Rank 4 shows the priority of the Downsizing Strategy. The results show that Brand Seyes' position is in quadrant I (Strong Competition) and to support this, the following general strategies can be used: expanding the sales network, strengthening promotions and advertising by maximizing the features provided by the shopee marketplace which has a wide reach, especially on social media and advertising. in other digital media, more innovative in the development of product style and design, improve services and strengthen brand image so that consumers feel comfortable and will be sure to be loyal.

Abstract

This study aims (1) to determine the effect of learning by playing puzzles and blocks using problem solving methods on social emotional development in children at PAUD institutions in Ambon city (2) To determine the effect of learning by playing blocks using problem solving methods on social emotional development in children. at PAUD institutions in Ambon city (3) To determine the effect of differences in learning through playing puzzles and playing blocks using problem solving methods on the socio-emotional development of children at PAUD institutions in Ambon city, examining the differences in the effect of problem solving methods through playing puzzles and blocks on development emotional social in PAUD Ambon City. This research was conducted at the Ambon State Kindergarten. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research concludes that the First. Children in the experimental group, namely the State Kindergarten Training, have the ability to play puzzles using problem solving methods for social emotional development, show very good activity with the lowest score of 20 and the highest score of 50, the average value is 37.4 with a median of 37.5 and a mode of 36. Second. Control group children have the ability to play blocks using problem solving methods on social emotional development, the group shows activity well with the lowest score of 23 and the highest score of 37, the average value is 32.4 with a median of 32.5 and a mode of 30. Third . There is a difference in the average ability to play with children aged 5-6 years between students who are taught using the Problem Solving method with puzzle games and students who are taught using the Problem Solving method by playing with blocks with a price of tcount = 2.78 while ttable with degrees of freedom n1+ n2 -2 = 18 at the significance level of = 0.05 in 1.73 then tcount > ttable, this means that the difference between the two means is significant at the 0.05 level. It can be concluded that there is a difference in the average social emotional ability of early childhood play concepts in the experimental group and the control group. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Problem Solving method with puzzle games and the Problem Solving method by playing blocks on the emotional social skills of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Ambon City.

Abstract

Self-efficacy can help a person to master the situation and create positive results. Self-efficacy has a strong influence on behavior. This study aims to see that the effect of self-efficacy on student achievement is seen from the student's GPA. Students who have high self-efficacy will have high learning achievement and vice versa. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method. The population in this study were students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, FKIP University of Pattimura, batch 2021. The self-efficacy measuring instrument is divided into three domains, namely, magnitude level, generality, and strength. The majority of respondents in this study were female, as many as 40 people out of 44 respondents. The age range of the respondents in this study was 18 to 25 years. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it is found that the relationship between self-efficacy and GPA is by using the correlation number between the two variables, the correlation number is .313 with a significance level of .000. This means that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and GPA.

Abstract

This research conduct in frozen fish supplier based in east Java, Indonesia, namely Biji Sesawi company. Focuses on the issue of improves the quality of frozen fish stored in the Cold Storage. The research method is based on a qualitative research by conducting interviews with quality control and machine operators to analyze historical data from September to November 2021 using Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) tools. The results showed that the dominant type of defect was the change in the surface of the yellow fish with a defect percentage of 21.99% of the 7 types of defects that occurred in frozen fish in accordance with the characteristics determined by the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) of Republic Indonesia. Based on Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), the factors that cause the surface of the fish to change into yellow in the frozen are the inaccurate application of the FIFO system and the room temperature level. The suggestions to improve the quality of stored fish are to maintain the distance of new products placed in Cold Storage carried out by the maintenance department, which aims to make it easier for employees to take products that are difficult to reach and the duration of products stored. The final results of the research after the implemented method concluded in December, that there was an improvement in fish quality by 2.97%, and an increase the sales volume and consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

Video recording is used in Public Speaking class to cope with the new circumstances and condition of online learning during the spread of Covid-19 disease. This study was conducted to find out students' perceptions towards video recording in the public speaking class. Descriptive qualitative approach was chosen as the research design. There were two kinds of techniques of data collection: questionnaire and interview. The research involved 30 students of class 2021 who have taken the Public Speaking class in their second semester at Pattimura University. Students’perception will be analyzed through three aspects: Psyhological aspects, Academic aspects and Technical aspects. The result of this study showed that most of the students had positive perception on the use of video recording. Students admitted that video recording facilitate a better speaking practice which in turn help them to improve their speaking and they feel that they can achieve the learning competencies (Academic aspects). The students also considered the process of making video recording as fun, and exciting (Psychological Aspect). Students also felt there is no significances difficulty in the process of making the video (Technical aspect). In light of the findings, video recording is considered a favorable and effective media for students in Public Speaking course
