Abstract

The contribution of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to the national economy is undeniable. However, on the other hand, the majority of these business actors still face challenges in financial management practices. The lack of a well-structured financial management system often hinders their business growth and operational professionalism. In response to this issue, the government, through the authorized institutions, has issued the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities as a guideline for preparing standardized financial statements. Unfortunately, the implementation of these standards has not been evenly adopted. As observed in the case of CV. Zhafran Jaya, the business has not yet implemented SAK EMKM in its financial reporting practices. Based on this condition, this study aims to identify all financial transaction activities of CV. Zhafran Jaya and subsequently prepare financial statements in accordance with the principles of SAK EMKM. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with the research conducted at CV. Zhafran Jaya located in Tanjung Pucuk Village, Jambi Province. Data collection techniques involved in-depth interviews with the business owner, supported by document reviews and field observations to obtain comprehensive primary data. The findings indicate that the financial recording system of CV. Zhafran Jaya remains conventional and highly simplistic. Financial records are limited only to cash inflows and outflows, without the application of double-entry bookkeeping, account classification, or proper journal preparation. Furthermore, the business has never prepared formal financial statements based on SAK EMKM standards. After reconciliation and reconstruction of the financial statements in accordance with the standards, the company was found to generate a net profit of IDR 146,487,600, while its total assets amounted to IDR 3,415,561,765.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the implementation of differentiated learning in the English subject of Phase D in Merdeka Curriculum. The study used a qualitative case study approach involving three English teachers as research informants. The data were collected through classroom observations and interviews to explore teachers’ experiences in applying differentiated learning in the teaching and learning process. The findings revealed that teachers implemented differentiated learning through four main aspects: content, process, product, and learning environment. In content differentiation, teachers adjusted learning materials according to students’ readiness and interests by using simple language and starting from basic concepts. In process differentiation, teachers applied various teaching strategies such as group discussions and the use of visual media to accommodate students’ learning styles. In product differentiation, students were given different options to present their learning outcomes based on their abilities and creativity. Meanwhile, the learning environment was designed to be interactive and collaborative to support students’ participation. However, teachers also faced several challenges, including students’ different English proficiency levels, limited learning resources, and difficulties in meeting all students’ needs simultaneously. Overall, differentiated learning helped create a more student-centered learning environment, although further support and resources are needed to optimize its implementation.

Abstract

Urban development is often influenced by the interaction of economic, social, and historical factors that shape urban spatial structures. However, studies concerning the development of Curup from a market-based settlement into an urban structure remain limited and have not been extensively analyzed using the perspective of urban ecology. This study aims to analyze the development of Curup from a market-based settlement into an urban structure through the urban ecology approach proposed by Robert E. Park. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review, and were subsequently analyzed using the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the market became the primary factor driving the growth of settlements and economic activities in Curup. The strategic position of Curup as an interregional connecting route accelerated urban development and expanded spatial functions. This developmental process reflects the existence of competition, dominance, and succession that shaped the urban structure and was accompanied by social and cultural adaptations within the community. Therefore, the development of Curup was influenced not only by economic factors but also by historical and social dynamics within the local context. The implications of this study contribute to the fields of urban history and social ecology, particularly in understanding the transformation of market-based cities in local regions. Abstract

This research presents an in-depth literature review regarding the role and characteristics of electromagnetic fields in the Long Stator Linear Synchronous Motor (LS-LSM) system to support the improvement of transportation maglev operational speed. The review emphasizes how magnetic flux behavior, field uniformity, and electromagnetic synchronization influence propulsion efficiency and dynamic stability in high-speed maglev operations. As the primary propulsion unit, the LS-LSM operates by synchronizing the moving magnetic field generated along the stator with the magnetic elements on the train, thereby producing a stable and continuous propulsion force. The findings indicate that the quality of the electromagnetic field, evaluated through flux density, waveform purity, and harmonic distortion reduction, significantly affects levitation stability, propulsion smoothness, and energy conversion efficiency. Electromagnetic field optimization can reduce power losses, minimize propulsion force fluctuations, and maintain propulsion performance at high speeds. This review also identifies potential technological developments, including the use of advanced magnetic materials, improved stator designs, and intelligent control strategies capable of regulating the electromagnetic field in real time. These insights support the design of propulsion systems that are more efficient, stable, and responsive. The research concludes that improving the quality of the electromagnetic field in LS-LSM systems is a key factor in achieving higher maglev speeds, better operational stability, and greater reliability for next-generation transportation systems.Top of Form

Abstract

Bullying in senior high schools is a serious issue in educational management because it affects students’ psychological safety, emotional well-being, and the effectiveness of the learning process. School principals are expected to play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive, and non-violent school environment. However, the extent to which principal leadership directly influences student bullying behavior has not been strongly supported by empirical evidence, especially in public high schools. Therefore, this study examines the effect of principal leadership on bullying behavior among students in public senior high schools in Manado City. This research used a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design. The population consisted of all students in public senior high schools in Manado City, and 385 respondents were selected using the Lemeshow sampling formula. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires measuring perceptions of principal leadership and bullying behavior. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software, including validity, reliability, model fit, and path analysis tests. The results indicate that principal leadership does not have a direct and significant effect on students’ bullying behavior. This suggests that principal leadership operates more indirectly through school policies, management systems, and institutional structures rather than through direct interaction with students. Bullying behavior is found to be more strongly influenced by peer relationships, school climate, and daily social interactions within the school environment. In conclusion, the relationship between principal leadership and bullying behavior is complex and indirect. Therefore, efforts to reduce bullying should not rely solely on leadership but must also involve strengthening school culture, improving peer relationships, and implementing comprehensive anti-bullying strategies that support students’ social and emotional development.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly changed communication patterns within families, especially among teenagers. Adolescents growing up in the digital era tend to be more familiar with communication through social media and electronic devices rather than direct face-to-face interaction. This condition gradually affects teenagers’ communication ethics toward their parents, such as the use of overly casual language, lack of attention during conversations, and reduced intensity of family interactions. From the perspective of Islamic Education, ethics in speaking to parents is an important part of moral education that must be maintained under any circumstances, as explained in Surah Al-Isra verse 23 regarding the prohibition of speaking harshly to parents. This study aims to analyze teenagers’ communication ethics toward parents in the digital era within the community of Sidoarjo Hilir, Medan Tembung District, and to identify the factors influencing these changes. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The research informants consisted of two teenagers and one parent selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that digital technology has both positive and negative impacts on family communication. The positive impact can be seen in the ease of long-distance communication between children and parents. However, the study also found changes in communication ethics, such as the use of informal language toward parents, lack of focus during interaction due to smartphone use, and reduced meaningful face-to-face communication. This research also found that family roles and religious education play an important role in shaping teenagers’ communication ethics in the digital era. Therefore, strengthening moral education within the family is necessary so that technological development does not erode the values of respect toward parents.
