Abstract

This study aims to empirically investigate the impact of Capital Structure, Company Growth, and Company Value on stock prices. Employing a quantitative descriptive research method with a verificative approach, the study utilizes panel data regression analysis to examine these relationships. The research focuses on Coal Sub-Sector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2023, encompassing a sample of 12 companies. The findings reveal that Capital Structure negatively influences stock prices, indicating that higher debt levels may detract from stock value. Conversely, Company Growth is found to have no significant effect on stock prices, suggesting that growth metrics do not necessarily translate to market valuation in this sector. In contrast, Company Value exerts a positive impact on stock prices, demonstrating that higher valuation metrics are associated with increased stock prices. These results provide valuable insights for investors and stakeholders in the coal sub-sector, highlighting the critical factors that drive stock price movements and offering a basis for more informed investment decisions.

Abstract

One of the da'wah organizations that continues to grow with a large number of followers spread across several regions in Indonesia is the Indonesian Islamic Da'wah Institute/Lembaga Dakwah Islam Indonesia (LDII). LDII's religious stance in recent years has sparked mass rejection from the public, as it is perceived to have deviated from Islamic teachings. This article serves as the central theme of a study aimed at describing and examining the existence of LDII and its quite controversial religious practices. The data collection methods used in this research include observation, interviews, and library research. The findings of this study indicate that LDII, as one of the religious sects in Indonesia, has fallen into deviations in its religious practices due to misunderstandings in comprehending and interpreting true religious messages, resulting from the misuse of the hermeneutic method.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of self-regulated learning (SRL) in students who pass the SNBT using e-learning as a learning medium. SRL is a process in which students independently manage and maintain their cognitive, emotional, and motivational aspects to achieve predetermined learning goals. Passing the SNBT is an achievement that requires students' learning independence. This research utilized a qualitative method with 4 students who passed the SNBT using e-learning as respondents, selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, transcribed, and analyzed using thematic analysis. The results of the study indicate that students who used e-learning in SNBT preparation successfully passed the selection and entered the best state universities due to their ability to self-regulate through three phases of SRL: planning, execution, and reflection. E-learning helped students set learning goals, choose appropriate learning strategies, and manage time effectively. During the execution phase, students were active in the learning process and adjusted methods as needed. In the reflection phase, students evaluated learning outcomes and made improvements based on feedback. Students who applied SRL demonstrated high learning independence and motivation. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating technology in education to enhance students' effectiveness and academic success.

Abstract

This study explores the intricate relationships between work facilities, employee engagement, work ethic, job satisfaction, and employee performance within CV Anugrah Tirta Persada Pangkalan Bun. The research seeks to determine the impact of these factors on job satisfaction and how job satisfaction mediates their influence on employee performance. Utilizing a saturation sampling method, the study encompasses all 39 employees of the company. Data was collected via a comprehensive questionnaire covering respondent characteristics, work facility scale, work engagement scale, work ethic scale, job satisfaction scale, and employee performance scale, analyzed using SMARTPLS. Key findings reveal that work facilities and employee engagement do not significantly affect job satisfaction, as evidenced by p-values of 0.449 and 0.410, respectively. Conversely, work ethic significantly enhances job satisfaction with a p-value of 0.000. Job satisfaction is confirmed as a substantial predictor of employee performance (p-value 0.000). While job satisfaction significantly moderates the influence of employee engagement on performance (p-value 0.010), it does not moderate the effects of work facilities or work ethic on performance. Additionally, work ethic directly influences employee performance (p-value 0.012), while work facilities do not show a significant direct impact (p-value 0.177). These insights suggest prioritizing work ethic and employee engagement over work facilities to enhance job satisfaction and performance. The findings contribute valuable perspectives to human resource management practices, emphasizing the need for organizations to foster strong work ethics and employee engagement to boost overall performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of dosage and frequency of liquid organic fertilizer made from Turileaves on the growth and yield of land spinach plants (Ipomoea reptans Poir). The study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the dosage of turi leaf liquid organic fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely, Turi Leaf LOF 0 ml/l (P0), Turi Leaf LOF 1.5 ml/l (P1), Turi Leaf LOF 3 ml/l (P2), Turi Leaf LOF 4.5 ml/l (P3). The second factor is the frequency of application consisting of 3 levels, namely application of LOF once a week (F1), application of LOF twice a week (F2), and application of LOF three times a week (F3). The results showed that the application of a dosage of 4.5 ml/l liquid organic fertilizer 3 times a week application gave the best results for plant height (30.60 cm), Number of Leaves (14 leaves), Stem Diameter (8.36 mm), Root Length (16.76 cm), and Harvest Weight (11.86 gr).
