Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of company size, profitability, and liquidity on the capital structure of manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sector in Indonesia. The population in this study were all real estate companies listed on the IDX in 2020-2022. Using a purposive sampling technique, a sample of 16 companies was obtained. This method uses multiple linear regression with SPSS Version 27. The results of this study concluded that company size and profitability partially have no significant effect on capital structure, while liquidity has a significant effect on capital structure. In addition, it can be found that firm size, profitability, and liquidity simultaneously have a significant influence on the capital structure of manufacturing companies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of brand image on purchasing decisions mediated by brand ambassadors. This research was conducted at the official Scarlett cosmetic store located in Malang City totaling 120 respondents. This study uses a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire and analyzed with Smart-PLS. This study found that brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, brand ambassadors have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, brand image has a positive and significant effect on brand ambassadors and brand ambassadors mediate brand image on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of price and product quality on the purchasing decision of Aqua drinking water products in Malang City. Using a quantitative approach, this research was conducted on 150 Aqua consumers and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study conclude that price has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions. Product quality has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions. Product quality is more dominant than price in purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze business capital and financial inclusion on the financial performance of micro-enterprises. The analytical tool used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 25. The population of this study is the culinary sector micro-enterprises that are in the Karangploso District data 2022. The sample determination in this study used total sampling with a total sample of 109 micro-enterprises in the culinary sector. The results show that business capital and financial inclusion simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on the financial performance of micro-enterprises. Partially, business capital has a positive and significant effect on the financial performance of micro-enterprises and financial inclusion has a positive and significant effect on the financial performance of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether financial literacy and locus of control influence student financial management with lifestyle as the mediating effect. The population in this study were 2019-2020 class management students at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang with a total sample of 100 students. The research method uses a questionnaire with data collection techniques using questionnaires, data measurement techniques using a Likert scale and analysis using the SmartPLS 4 program. The results of the data analysis show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on student financial management, and locus of control has a significant positive effect on student finance. Lifestyle has a positive and significant influence on financial management. Lifestyle cannot mediate financial literacy in student financial management, but it can mediate locus of control.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of financial literacy, attitudes, subjective norms, and religiosity on investment intentions in the Islamic capital market. The sample in this study was 100 active students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Malang. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 25. The results showed that financial literacy, attitudes, and religiosity have a positive and significant effect on investment intentions in the Islamic capital market and subjective norms have no significant effect on investment intentions in the Islamic capital market. The simultaneous tests show that all variables of financial literacy, attitudes, subjective norms, and religiosity simultaneously have a significant influence on investment intentions in the Islamic capital market.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of transformational and transactional leadership styles on employee performance with social support as a moderating variable. This type of research uses quantitative methods with a sample size of 45 respondents. Sources of data obtained in this study from distributing questionnaires (primary data). The data analysis technique used in this study uses path analysis. The results of the study show that the transformational leadership style has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance. Likewise, the transactional leadership style has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance. Social support is not able to moderate the transformational leadership style on employee performance. In addition, social support is able to moderate the transactional leadership style on employee performance as a moderating variable.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance with work ethics as moderation variable. This research was conducted on Bankaltimtara Balikpapan employees with a total of 40 respondents. The sampling technique used in this research is the total sampling technique. Using a quantitative approach. Regression analysis and the SPSS 25 program are used as the data analysis technique. The results of this study showed that organizational commitment has a very high scale range, work ethic has a very high scale range, and employee performance has a high scale range. The results showed that there was no significant influence between organizational commitment on employee performance. Work ethic is able to moderate the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance.

Abstract

The high number of internet users in Indonesia makes the need for smartphones increasingly increasing. That way the competition to meet the needs of smartphones is very high with competition from various brands. This study aims to determine the effect of price, brand image, and product quality on purchasing decisions. The population in this study were consumers who purchased Xiaomi smartphones in Probolinggo City with a sample of 119 respondents using purposive sampling. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach and is analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of this research show that price, brand image, and product quality have a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions. Brand image has the most dominant influence on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of Service Quality, Price, and Electronic Word of Mouth on Visit Intention (a study of potential tourists at Selecta Recreation Park). The population in this study was someone who had never visited Selecta Recreation Park, with a sample of 200 respondents. The characteristics of the respondents are prospective tourists who are in Malang Raya and have never visited Selecta Recreation Park but know Selecta Recreation Park from Social Media Instagram, aged 17-40 years. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. This research was conducted from June to July 2023 by distributing online questionnaires via Google Form. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression, t test, and dominant test. The results of this study conclude that Service Quality, Price, and Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) have a positive and significant effect on Visit Intention. E-WOM has a dominant influence on Visit Intention.
