Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted on the basis of the condition of today's Muslims, especially in Indonesia, where interest in reading is low and of course the impact on interest in writing is also low. Moreover, Indonesian people who are Muslim should practice the noble teachings of Islam, namely the command to read and write in surah Al-'Alaq verses 1-5. This research aims to make readers, especially Muslims more active in studying religion through reading and writing. So that it becomes a Muslim person who is advanced, intelligent and has a learning spirit. This research uses a type of library research with the nature of the research is descriptive-analysis. Data collection techniques using documentation and literature surveys. The data analysis method used is content analysis. The results of the study show that the Urgency of Reading and Writing in Islamic Education based on Surah Al-'Alaq verses 1-5 According to the Perspective of Tafsir Al-Wasith by Syekh Wahbah Az-Zuhaili is: The command to read and write is the first revelation in Islam. Both are the key in seeking knowledge and are worth worshiping in the sight of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. Reading and writing have a very strong relationship. Reading and writing are gifts and favors from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. There are many benefits that can be obtained from reading and writing activities. In addition, it is through reading and writing that Allah teaches humans as in Surah Al-'Alaq verses 1-5. The great positive impact of the reduction of this verse is the progress and rapid development of Muslim civilization in a better direction.KEYWORDS: Islamic Education; Read and Write; Surah Al-'Alaq ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan atas dasar keadaan kaum muslimin zaman sekarang, khususnya di Indonesia yang minat bacanya yang rendah dan tentu saja berimbas kepada minat menulis yang juga rendah. Terlebih masyarakat Indonesia yang beragama Islam sudah seharusnya mengamalkan ajaran islam yang mulia yaitu perintah membaca dan menulis pada surah Al-‘Alaq ayat 1-5. Penelitian ini bertujuan agar para pembaca, khususnya kaum muslimin lebih giat dalam menuntut ilmu agama melalui membaca dan menulis. Sehingga menjadi pribadi muslim yang maju, cerdas dan berjiwa pembelajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan dengan sifat penelitian adalah deskriptif-analisis. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan survei kepustakaan. Adapun metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa Urgensi Membaca dan Menulis dalam Pendidikan Islam berdasarkan Surah Al-‘Alaq ayat 1-5 Menurut Perpesktif Tafsir Al-Wasith karya Syekh Wahbah Az-Zuhaili adalah: Perintah membaca dan menulis adalah wahyu pertama dalam islam. Keduanya merupakan kunci dalam menuntut ilmu dan bernilai ibadah di sisi Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala. Membaca dan menulis memiliki keterkaitan yang sangat kuat. Membaca dan menulis adalah karunia dan nikmat dari Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala. Banyak kebaikan-kebaikan yang didapatkan dengan adanya aktivitas membaca dan menulis. Selain itu, melalui membaca dan menulislah Allah memberikan pengajaran kepada manusia sebagaimana dalam Surah Al-‘Alaq ayat 1-5. Abstract

Abstract: The monthly evaluation is carried out starting from a problem, namely the low activity of students in several activities. These problems certainly have an impact on the course and objectives to be achieved from a program. This research is important in order to know how to plan and implement the monthly evaluation of the tahfidz program as well as the researchers' evaluation of the results of the monthly evaluation of the tahfidz program at the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an Dormitory Bumi Graha Lestari. This study uses a type of field research (field research) with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was collected through observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the monthly evaluation planning was arranged in such a way as to overcome the problem of the low frequency of student attendance at activities. The monthly evaluation had previously been carried out in 2019, but since the Covid 19 pandemic occurred in 2020, the monthly evaluation has not been carried out anymore. The monthly evaluation will be held again in 2021 with a new pattern, which has the aim of collecting data related to halaqah attendance points, ta'lim attendance points, and tahsin or tahfidz deposit points. After carrying out monthly evaluations with a new pattern, student activity was more evenly distributed and experienced a drastic increase in the frequency of attendance and the number of memorization. There seems to be a change for the better and has a very positive impact. Based on evaluation quality analysis, it is in a better and improved position than before. So this monthly evaluation activity was considered successful because it was in accordance with what was expected, namely to increase student activity in each activity. The results of this study can be used as a reference for other al-Qur'an educational institutions that wish to apply the same thing.Keywords: Evaluation, Implementation, Planning, Tahfidz ProgramAbstrak: Evaluasi bulanan dilaksanakan berangkat dari sebuah permasalahan yakni rendahnya keaktifan mahasantri pada beberapa kegiatan. Masalah tersebut tentu berdampak kepada jalannya dan tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari sebuah program. Penelitian ini penting dilakukan agar dapat mengetahui bagaimana perencanaan dan pelaksanaan evaluasi bulanan program tahfidz serta evaluasi terhadap hasil evaluasi bulanan program tahfidz di Asrama Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Bumi Graha Lestari. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan evaluasi bulanan diatur sedemikian rupa agar dapat mengatasi permasalahan rendahnya frekuensi kehadiran mahasantri pada kegiatan. Evaluasi bulanan sebelumnya pernah dilaksanakan pada tahun 2019, namun sejak ada pandemi Covid 19 pada tahun 2020, evaluasi bulanan tidak dilaksanakan lagi. Evaluasi bulanan dilaksanakan kembali pada tahun 2021 dengan pola yang baru, yang memiliki tujuan untuk mengumpulkan data terkait dengan poin kehadiran halaqah, poin kehadiran ta’lim, dan poin setoran tahsin atau tahfidz. Setelah dilaksanakan evaluasi bulanan dengan pola yang baru, keaktifan mahasantri lebih merata dan mengalami peningkatan drastis dalam hal frekuensi kehadiran dan jumlah hafalan. Tampak ada perubahan ke arah yang lebih baik dan memiliki dampak yang sangat positif. Berdasarkan analisis kualitas evaluasi, hal ini berada pada posisi yang lebih baik dan meningkat dari sebelumnya. Maka kegiatan evaluasi bulanan ini dinilai berhasil karena sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan yakni untuk meningkatkan keaktifan mahasantri pada setiap kegiatan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan acuan bagi lembaga pendidikan al-Qur’an lainnya yang ingin menerapkan hal serupa.Keywords: Evaluasi; Implementasi; Perencanaan; Program Tahfidz

Abstract

AbstractThe role of parents is very beneficial for the development of children's learning, because meeting children's needs is not enough only materially, parents also play a role from a social point of view, maintaining children's health, independence and discipline. children so they can fulfill. optimize their education. The author is interested in examining how the role of parents supports the welfare of children's formal education socially, economically, health, independence, and discipline at MI Darul Ilmi. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The sample used was 32 respondents consisting of parents of fifth grade students at MI Darul Ilmi Banjarbaru. Data collection is by giving questionnaires to respondents. Then draw conclusions from several question indicators and convert them using the percentage (%) of the final results of these indicators. The results of this study mention the role of parents in the social life of children by limiting children's playing time after coming home from school saying they agree by 72% so that children can find out their playing time so that they can maintain intimacy between each other, the role of parents in children's economic life is to limit spending by not adding spending money when the child asks for it back says agrees at 50% so children can learn not to be wasteful, the role of parents in the child's health life always brings food to school for their children says agrees at 63% so children don't shop carelessly, the role of parents to form a child's independence by always reminding them to go home because they play too long saying they agree by 91% meaning that there are still many children who are less independent because their parents are always reminded to recognize when it's time to play, and the role of parents in shaping children's discipline in limiting the desires they always want, such as buying toys, they agree by 94% so that children understand in limiting themselves not to live excessively.Keywords: The role of parents, children's education in terms of social, economic, health, independence, and discipline.AbstrakPeran orang tua sangat bermanfaat bagi perkembangan belajar anak, karena pemenuhan kebutuhan anak tidak cukup hanya secara materi, orang tua juga berperan dari segi sosial anak, menjaga kesehatan, kemandirian dan kedisiplinan anak. anak-anak sehingga mereka dapat memenuhi. pendidikan mereka secara optimal. Penulis tertarik untuk meneliti bagaimana peran orang tua mendukung kesejahteraan pendidikan formal anak secara sosial, ekonomi, kesehatan, kemandirian, dan kedisiplinan di MI Darul Ilmi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 32 responden terdiri dari orang tua siswa kelas V di MI Darul Ilmi Banjarbaru. Pegumpulan data yaitu dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada responden. Selanjutnya dilakukan penarikan kesimpulan dari beberapa indikator pertanyaan dan secara konversi menggunakan persentasi (%) hasil akhir indikator tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyebutkan peran orang tua dalam kehidupan sosial anak dengan membatasi waktu bermain anak setelah pulang sekolah mengatakan setuju sebesar 72% agar anak dapat mengetahui waktu bermainnya agar dapat menjaga keakraban antar sesama, peran orang tua dalam kehidupan ekonomi anak yaitu membatasi belanja dengan cara tidak menambahkan uang belanja ketika anak meminta kembali mengatakan setuju sebesar 50% supaya anak bisa belajar untuk tidak boros, peran orang tua dalam kehidupan kesehatan anak selalu membawakan bekal makanan ke sekolah untuk anaknya mengatakan setuju sebesar 63% agar anak tidak belanja sembarangan, peran orang tua untuk membentuk sikap kemandirian anak dengan selalu mengingatkan untuk pulang ke rumah karena terlalu lama bermain mengatakan setuju sebesar 91% artinya terdapat masih banyak anak yang kurang mandiri karena mereka selalu diingatkan oleh orang tuanya untuk mengenali waktu bermain, dan peran orang tua dala membentuk sikap kedisiplinan anak dalam membatasi keinginan yang selalu mereka inginkan seperti membeli mainan mengatakan setuju sebesar 94% agar anak mengerti dalam membatasi dirinya untuk tidak hidup berlebihan.Kata Kunci: Peran orang tua, Pendidikan anak segi sosial, ekonomi, kesehatan, kemandirian, dan kedisiplinan.

Abstract

Abstract: Religious life is related to issues of ritual and eschatology. These two things are comprehended and addressed differently in various circles. Among Fiqh scholars, worship (ibadah) is known as a form of formality without the ability to be creative. While some philosophers argue that worship is an irrational act. In the view of Sufism, worship in religion is something meaningful, it's just that not everyone can explore this meaning, because indeed in religion the issue of worship is understood as something supra-rational. This research uses the tafsir isyari approach and the chosen tafsir is tafsir Ruh al-Ma'ani written by al-Alusi. Data collection in the study was done by tracing the verses of the Qur'an interpreted by al-Alusi in his tafsir with isyari interpretation. From the research, it is concluded that the interpretation of Ruh al-Ma'ani by al-Alusi is one of the great books of tafsir that contains the zhahir and isyarah interpretations. The isyarah interpretation is within reasonable parameters, not in the form of a Bathiniyah interpretation.Keywords: Ruhani Meanings, Rituals, Islamic Eschatology. Abstrak: kehidupan beragama terkait dengan persoalan ritual dan eskatologi. Dua hal tersebut dalam berbagai kalangan dipahami dan disikapi secara berbeda. Di kalangan fiqh, ibadah dikenal sebagai bentuk formalitas tanpa kebolehan berkreasi. Sementara kalangan filosof ada yang berpendapat bahwa ibadah adalah tindakan irrasional. Dalam pandangan sufisme, ibadah dalam agama adalah sesuatu yang bermakna, hanya saja tidak semua orang mampu menyelami maknanya tersebut, karena memang dalam beragama persoalan ibadah dipahami sebagai sesuatu yang supra rasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan tafsir isyari dan tafsir yang dipilih adalah tafsir Ruh al-Ma'ani yang ditulis oleh al-Alusi. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian melalui;1) menelurusi ayat-ayat Alquran yang ditafsirkan oleh al-Alusi dalam tafsirnya dengan penafsiran isyari. Dari penelitian tersebut disimpulkan bahwa tafsir Ruh al-Ma’ani karya al-Alusi, adalah salah satu kitab tafsir besar yang memuat penafsiran-penafsiran zhahir dan isyarah. Penafsiran isyarahnya batas-batas kewajaran, tidak dalam dalam wujud tafsir Bathiniyah.Keywords: Makna Ruhani, Ritual, Eskatologi Islam.

Abstract

It is imperative to recognise the significance of student activity in the context of learning, as it serves as an indicator of the efficacy of the teaching and learning process. Furthermore, student activeness is pivotal to the development of their understanding, skills, and meaningful experiences in learning. The present study aims to explore efforts to increase student activeness through the use of the TGT (Team Games Tournament) model in PAI and Budi Pekerti lessons at the junior high school level. The present study employs a descriptive qualitative research method. In March 2024, the researchers conducted the study at SMPN 13 Surabaya in class 8B, with the participation of 30 students. The researchers conducted direct observations of activities in the field related to the issue under investigation. Prior to the implementation of the TGT model in the PAI and Budi Pekerti subjects, the results of the study at SMPN 13 Surabaya in class 8B demonstrated that students exhibited increased levels of activity and enthusiasm following the implementation of the TGT cooperative learning model.

Abstract

Abstract: Amid the growing diversity of cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds in Indonesia, fostering a spirit of tolerance among students has become a critical challenge in today’s educational landscape. This study stems from concerns over the predominantly one-way instructional approach in Islamic Religious Education, which often lacks space for inclusive dialogue among students. The research aims to explore how the implementation of collaborative learning methods in Islamic Religious Education can contribute to cultivating tolerance among students at SMA Senopati Sedati Sidoarjo. Employing a qualitative approach and case study design, data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with Islamic Religious Education and Christian Religious Education teachers, and analysis of instructional documents. The findings indicate that collaborative strategies—such as diverse group work, cross-perspective discussions, and joint projects rooted in moderate Islamic values—can foster a more open and respectful learning environment. Students became more engaged in discussions and accustomed to listening to differing viewpoints without judgment. Nevertheless, challenges such as uneven learning motivation and limited resources remain obstacles. These findings suggest that participatory and contextual Islamic Religious Education instruction is not only relevant but also effective in shaping a more tolerant younger generation, better prepared to thrive in a pluralistic society. Abstract

Education must be able to make the students better. Likewise, Islamic religious education must be directed at fulfilling philosophical ideals in order to havuing faith based on the qualities. Modern world education must be able to integrate all elements worldly and aspects of finality so that in its development both aspects work together and can crate accountabel education. In the field of education, philosophy will determine the goals, content, implementation and evaluation of education. There are several types of educational philosophy, namely perenialism, essentialism, progressivism, and reconstructionism. Reconstruction of one of the modern schools of education. The flow of reconstructionism argues that the task of saving the world is the duty of all humanity. Therefore it is necessary to re-foster healthy intellectual and spiritual power through proper education of true values and norms for the present and future generations, thus forming a new world in the control of mankind. However, in Islam its must remain in line with the concept of Islamic education. This study uses a qualitative approach through library research. The results of this study is to show the philosophical framerok of reconstructionism can be a conception of Islamic education.

Abstract

Character education has been a national agenda in Indonesia since the early 2010s. It was formally integrated into the 2013 Curriculum and further strengthened through the Merdeka Curriculum, which was launched in 2022. This study aims to examine how character education is conceptualized and implemented within these two curricula, particularly through the lens of Islamic religious education. Using a qualitative content analysis approach, the study analyzes key policy documents issued by the Ministry of Education, including competency standards, learning outcomes, and the Pancasila Student Profile. The analysis reveals that both curricula explicitly emphasize core values such as faith, discipline, nationalism, integrity, and critical thinking as integral components of students' character formation. These values are embedded within the formulation of core competencies and learning indicators across various subjects. However, pedagogical implementation guidelines remain limited and normative, often relying on broad and vague terms like “value internalization,” without being supported by concrete and contextual teaching strategies. Furthermore, both curricula tend to adopt a top-down and moralistic tone, providing limited space for dialogic, reflective, or participatory approaches. In addition, teachers are burdened with numerous administrative tasks, which reduces their time and focus on developing students’ character in an optimal way. The study concludes that in order to achieve effective character education within Indonesia’s diverse context, clearer, more inclusive pedagogical strategies rooted in critical student engagement are needed. The findings also imply the necessity for teacher training and curriculum development that are more responsive to social realities and students' needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji nilai-nilai akhlak mulia dalam hadis sebagai landasan pembentukan akhlak unggul. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan, penelitian ini menganalisis hadis-hadis dari Pole al-Sittah yang berkaitan dengan akhlak mulia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat sembilan nilai utama yang menjadi landasan akhlak unggul, yaitu: kejujuran, kesabaran, kerendahan hati, kasih sayang, amanah, keadilan, dan kebijaksanaan (hikmah). Nilai-nilai tersebut saling berkaitan dan membentuk satu kesatuan akhlak yang komprehensif. Penerapan nilai-nilai tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari berpotensi membentuk pribadi yang tidak hanya bermoral baik, tetapi juga unggul dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai akhlak mulia dalam pendidikan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia dapat memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan bagi pembentukan akhlak unggul yang dibutuhkan untuk menghadapi tantangan di era modern.

Abstract

Item quality analysis is crucial for enhancing student capabilities and the overall quality of educational practices. The objective of this study is to analyze and delineate the quality of items associated with the Minimum Competency Assessment of Mawaris material utilizing the Rasch ministep model, thereby providing recommendations aimed at improving assessment questions to better achieve educational objectives. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with an evaluative focus. Data collection was executed through documentation techniques, specifically using an instrument comprising 10 AKM questions pertaining to Mawaris material, distributed to Islamic Religious Education students at UIN Sunan Kalijaga during the 2024/2025 academic year. The instrument encompassed 5 literacy questions and 5 numeracy questions. The findings indicate that out of all the questions evaluated, only 8 attained the standards of validity. Based on item estimation, item reliability was calculated at 0.81, which is regarded as exhibiting good reliability, whereas the person estimation yielded a reliability score of 0.00, which is considered weak. The analysis revealed that 7 items functioned effectively for distractor efficacy, while 3 items failed to perform adequately. Furthermore, the difficulty analysis of the evaluated items illustrates a proportional variation in the complexity of the questions.
