Abstract

Research to analyze the effect of systematic risk, profitability, capital structure and liquidity on company value in companies in the consumer goods industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020. The selection of samples used in this study using purposive sampling and data collection techniques using secondary data in the form of audited financial statements. Based on the established criteria, a sample of 35 companies was obtained consisting of 175 data. The data analysis methods used are descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, F test, t test, interaction test and hypothesis testing. The analysis was carried out using the panel data regression method using the help of Eviews 10 software. From the stages of analysis carried out, namely estimating panel data regression models, selecting the best model, testing panel data regression assumptions, testing the feasibility of selected models, and interpreting the model, conclusions were obtained that the best panel data regression approach model is the Fixed Effect Model model. The results showed that systematic risk variables (BETA) had a negative and insignificant effect on company value (PBV), profitability (ROA) had a positive and significant effect on company value (PBV), capital structure (DER) had a positive and significant effect on company value (PBV), liquidity (CR) had a positive and insignificant effect on company value (PBV).

Abstract

This study discusses the leadership style of school principals in SMP Negeri 1 Berastagi and its impact on the quality of education. The purpose of this article is to understand the leadership style of school principals and how it affects the quality of education in SMP Negeri 1 Berastagi. The type of research in this article refers to ex-post facto involving all ASN and non-ASN teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Berastagi, which numbers to 53 people, regardless of whether they are ASN or honorarium teachers. The sample size was 53, and the data was collected using questionnaires and documentation. The study was analyzed using statistical inference. The descriptive results of the study are the leadership style of school principals in SMP Negeri 1 Berastagi, with a score of 77.8, a minimum score of 56, a maximum score of 92, a standard deviation of 8.6, and a variance of 75. It is categorized as having a frequency of 29 people, which is 55%. The quality of education is 76, with a minimum score of 50 and a maximum score of 96, a standard deviation of 10.8, and a variance of 118.4, and it is categorized as good, with a frequency of 28 people, which is 53% . The conclusion of this article is that there is a significant influence of the leadership style of school principals on the quality of education in SMP Negeri 1 Berastagi.

Abstract

Kabupaten Puncak, Provinsi Papua Tengah, memiliki potensi ekonomi yang besar, namun terhambat oleh infrastruktur yang belum memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembangunan infrastruktur terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Puncak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi data panel dengan data dari tahun 2010 hingga 2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan infrastruktur, yang diukur dengan variabel panjang jalan, jumlah jembatan, dan jumlah menara telekomunikasi, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Puncak. Peningkatan panjang jalan sebesar 1kilometer dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi sebesar 0,2 persen. Penambahan satu jembatan baru dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi sebesar 0,3 persen. Sedangkan, penambahan satu Menara telekomunikasi baru dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi sebesar 0,4 persen. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan infrastruktur merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang dapat mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Puncak. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan upaya berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas infrastruktur di wilayah ini.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how supervision is carried out byFacilities and Infrastructure Engineering and StandardizationvehicleBUS, Transportation Departmentin carrying out roadworthiness tests of BUS vehicles. This research uses qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques, and data collection techniques, interviews and observations according to the results obtained in the field. This research uses 4 public service management indicators proposed by Robert J Mocler and DR Gilbert Jr, namely standards, measurement, comparison, action. The problems faced regarding the roadworthiness test of BUS vehicles are, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) which are not well socialized, inadequate network requirements and a lack of human resources regarding transportation testing. In this case, the inhibiting factor for the problem that occurs is the lack of socialization, budget and network requirements for periodic roadworthiness tests at the Transportation Service so that public awareness of carrying out regular tests is very low. From the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the roadworthiness test for BUS vehicles has gone well but is still not fully optimal, so regular monitoring needs to be carried out.

Abstract

The city of Timika, located in Papua, Indonesia, has high transportation costs due to limited access and inadequate infrastructure. This has an impact on the prices of basic food items in the city, which are generally higher compared to other regions in Indonesia. This research aims to analyze the influence of transportation costs on the prices of basic food items in Timika City. This research aims to analyze the influence of transportation costs on the prices of basic food items in Timika City over the last 4 years (2020-2023). This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach and simple linear regression. Data was collected through secondary techniques and literature studies. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression techniques. The research results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between transportation costs and the prices of basic food items in Timika City. This means that the higher the transportation costs, the higher the prices of goods and services in Timika City. This research also found several factors that influence transportation costs in Timika City, including long distances, inadequate transportation infrastructure, high fuel costs, and high port and airport costs. Based on the research results, it was concluded that transportation costs have a significant influence on the prices of basic food items in Timika City. The government needs to make various efforts to reduce transportation costs and prices of goods and services in Timika City, such as building adequate transportation infrastructure, increasing the operational efficiency of ports and airports, providing subsidies to entrepreneurs, and increasing the production of goods and services in Timika City.

Abstract

Transportation service provider business people to improve the quality of service by increasing the importance, performance and price offered by online-based transportation that utilizes information technology science. This study aims to investigate the role of transportation in service quality based on the level of importance, performance and price of online-based transportation, especially in Mimika Regency by conducting a case study on the maxim application. This research method uses qualitative descriptive, Likert scale measurement. The results of this study can determine the significant level of online transportation. Online-based transportation provides quality service to consumers. Through the online-based maxim transportation application, it provides services so that it is more integrated, effective and has a positive impact on the community, traders, business actors, in addition to the above with maxim transportation opens up opportunities for new jobs for many people. With the existence of the level of importance, performance and price level of the maxim application service so as to create a positive effect that can be felt by the local government and the community directly involved. This research is expected to provide consideration to Mimika Regency and other cities in assessing transportation services for the government and the community based on the level of importance, performance and price, and this research is expected to contribute to the community in utilizing existing online-based transportation services more efficiently and effectively.

Abstract

Banking is an essential sector that improves a country's economy. The world economy has been shaken since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, along with global conflicts, which have caused many problems for banks. Banks in Indonesia also feel the impact, so banks need to survive well so as not to experience losses that lead to financial difficulties. This study uses financial ratios and company size to measure the effect of financial distress using the Altman Z-Score. The sample used is a bank listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 – 2022. Data processing using multiple regression with the help of SPSS statistical software. The results of this study found that the ratio of BOPO, ROA, and SIZE had a significant effect on financial distress. In contrast, the NPL, LDR, and BETA ratios did not have a significant effect. The following study can include environmental, social, and governance variables or ESG so that the application of sustainability activities can be measured in relation to financial distress.

Abstract

Leadership style is a process in which a person influences other people or a group in an effort to achieve certain predetermined goals. By applying the right leadership style, a leader can motivate his employees to work optimally, so that employee performance can be better. Leadership style is a model or strategy for leading an organization. This research aims to determine the influence of leadership style on the performance of employees of PT. Pantja Tunggal Knitting Mill Semarang. Good employee performance is expected to trigger work enthusiasm towards the Company's vision and mission. The research method used is quantitative research using a simple linear regression method. The sample in this study consisted of 50 respondents using the census method. Data collection uses a questionnaire and data processing uses the SPSS Satistics Version 24.0 analysis tool. Leadership styles have advantages and disadvantages, depending on how a leader maximizes all the potential strengths of an employee. A successful leadership style is a leadership style that is based on conscience, norms, ethics, freedom, giving trust, supervision, ready to accept criticism, constructive suggestions, firm and respecting creativity, innovation and motivation. This will have an impact on improving performance, increasing professional competence and competency. The leadership style played by PT Pantja Tunggal Knitting Mill Semarang has a significant impact on employee performance.

Abstract

This study examined the effect of work discipline on employee performance and satisfaction with employee performance at PT Kamaraya Land Semarang. The research design used is an explanatory study in order to understand a phenomenon to be researched, and the population and sample in this research are all employees of PT Kamaraya Land Semarang, totaling 45 respondents using a questionnaire for collection, which was processed using SPSS 21.00 for windows. Discipline has a negative effect on the performance of PT Kamaraya Land Semarang employees and job satisfaction has a positive effect on the performance of PT Kamaraya Land Semarang employees.

Abstract

This study investigated the impact of strategic leadership and person-job fit on employee satisfaction at PT. STP. Utilizing a quantitative-associative approach, the research employed probability sampling and a Likert scale to measure variables. The study demonstrates that strategic leadership has a profound and statistically significant positive effect on employee satisfaction, influenced by the congruence between employees' personal characteristics and job responsibilities. The results show that strategic leadership positively correlates with employee satisfaction, with a regression coefficient of 0.409 and a T-test value of 7.834. Additionally, the person-job fit variable exhibited significant correlations with employee satisfaction, with a regression coefficient of 0.709 and a T-test of 4.103. The study concludes that strategic leadership and person-job fit are crucial factors in enhancing employee satisfaction, ultimately contributing to organizational effectiveness.
