Abstract

Each leader has a program followed by strategic planning in the leadership process. The implementation of a transformational leadership style affects the performance of employees in government agencies, which also affects the implementation of ASN management. Because ASN is part of the Human Resources supporting the achievement of the vision and mission of government agencies. The research was conducted at the Kediri Regency Cooperative and Micro Business Office with the aim of analyzing the transformational style leadership strategy that can encourage employee performance to achieve work productivity as expected. This research method is qualitative, research instruments in the form of interview guidelines, data collection techniques with direct interviews. The interview technique is structured on a format that has been made by the researcher. The informants in this study were the head of the institutional and supervisory fields and the secretary of the Kediri Regency Cooperative and Micro Business Office. The results showed that the leadership has shown a leadership style in accordance with the four dimensions of leadership from Bernard M.Bass 1978. Then the strategy implemented encourages the improvement of the performance of employees who work in accordance with their jib description through: providing welfare to employees, encouraging employees to be disciplined at work, commitment to the organization which is shown by loyalty to work, employees need to be given a stimulus from outside as well for their welfare so that their commitment affects long-term performance improvement, organizations need to assist employees in improving their performance by involving professional development, welfare support, and creating a conducive work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that are suspected of influencing customer investment decisions, especially at Bank Mandiri Jakarta Kebon Jeruk Perjuangan. The factors in question are financial literacy, financial inclusion, and financial technology. The type of research used is quantitative, with the data used in the form of secondary data. The sample determination used the purposive sampling method with a total of 89 respondents who will be used for this study. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that the three independent variables, namely financial literacy (X1), financial inclusion (X2), and financial technology (X3) have a simultaneous effect on investment decisions (Y) based on the F test, in the ANOVA table above, the significance value (Sig) can be seen less than 0.05 and f count> f table, 252,905> 2.71. While the partial hypothesis test (T test) states that the three independent variables also influence investment decisions.

Abstract

One of the main issues is leadership, which has not yet fully motivated and guided employees effectively, especially in facing production demands and market changes. This study aims to determine and analyze how leadership, work environment, and job characteristics affect employee job satisfaction through organizational culture as an mediating variable. This type of research is correlational, with data collection using questionnaires. The population of this study consists of all employees at the Goyor Sarung factory owned by Bapak Gampang in Pemalang. The sample of this study is 112 people using a saturated sampling technique. This research uses the SPSS version 25 data processing tool. The results show that leadership has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Job characteristics have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Organizational culture has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Meanwhile, the work environment has a negative and insignificant effect on job satisfaction. The leadership variable has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction through organizational culture as an mediating variable. The work environment has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction through organizational culture as an mediating variable. Job characteristics have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction through organizational culture as an mediating variable.

Abstract

The limited access of low-to-middle-income communities to affordable and decent housing persists despite the increasing demand for subsidized mortgage (KPR Bersubsidi) homes at PT. Madani Sejahtera Investasi. This study aims to determine the influence of Service and Administration, Promotion, and Building Quality factors on debtors' decisions in choosing subsidized mortgage products at PT. Madani Sejahtera Investasi. This research employs a quantitative approach, with data collection conducted through questionnaires targeting a population of debtors who have opted for subsidized mortgage products at PT. Madani Sejahtera Investasi. The sampling technique used is Non-Probability Sampling. Data analysis is performed using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS software. The findings indicate that the Service and Administration variable has a positive and significant influence on debtors' decisions in choosing subsidized mortgage products at PT. Madani Sejahtera Investasi. The Promotion variable has a negative but not significant influence on debtors' decisions, while the Building Quality variable has a positive and significant influence on debtors' decisions. Based on these findings, it is recommended that PT. Madani Sejahtera Investasi enhance its evaluation of effective promotional outreach to ensure that the public is aware of the availability of subsidized mortgage products offered by the company.

Abstract

This study, titled “Strategi Peningkatan Daya Saing Produk Beras Mulur melalui Analisis SWOT,” aims to analyze the competitive position of Beras Mulur and propose strategic measures to enhance its market competitiveness. The research employs a SWOT analysis framework, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches to evaluate internal and external factors affecting the product. Data collection methods include surveys, interviews, and documentation, with a purposive sampling of key stakeholders such as farmers, distributors, and consumers. The findings indicate that Beras Mulur possesses significant strengths, including superior quality and competitive pricing, while facing challenges such as limited product diversification and underdeveloped marketing strategies. Opportunities exist in the form of growing consumer preference for local products and the expanding digital market, though threats from imported competitors and fluctuating raw material prices persist. The research concludes that strategic initiatives, such as digital marketing, product diversification, and leveraging government support, are essential to improving the product's competitive edge. By addressing weaknesses and mitigating threats, Beras Mulur can strengthen its market position and achieve sustainable growth. This study contributes to the literature on agribusiness strategy and offers practical recommendations for local product development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT Gudang Garam Tbk during the 2019-2023 period through a financial ratio approach, including liquidity ratios, leverage, and activities. The liquidity ratio in the analysis uses the Current Ratio to evaluate the company's ability to meet short-term obligations. The leverage ratio is analyzed using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) to assess the level of debt utilization in the company's capital structure. Meanwhile, the activity ratio is analyzed using Turn Asset Turn Over (TATO) to measure the efficiency of assets in generating income. The results of this study show that the average current ratio of 216 reflects good liquidity. The average DER of 49% indicates a sound financial structure, with the lowest leverage ratio in 2020 at 34% and stable in the range of 52%-53% the following year. The average TATO of 1.39 is slightly below the industry standard of 1.40, indicating a fairly good efficiency in the use of assets, where the TATO drops to 1.29. This study provides a comprehensive overview of PT Gudang Garam Tbk's financial condition and its implications for the company's business sustainability amid the challenges of the cigarette industry faced with strict regulations, competition for alternative products, and changing consumer preferences. This result is expected to be a reference for stakeholders in making strategic decisions to increase the company's competitiveness in the future

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the industrial revolution 4.0 on the job structure and skills of the workforce in North Sumatra. In this study, the approach used is a qualitative method. The results of the research obtained to overcome the challenges of unemployment and skills gaps, retraining and reeducation are very important solutions. Training programs designed to upskill the workforce should be structured with the current and future needs of the industry in mind. For example, governments and educational institutions can work together to develop training programs that focus on digital skills, programming, and data analysis, which are urgently needed in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Several companies in North Sumatra have started implementing internal training programs to improve the skills of their employees. For example, a manufacturing company in Medan has launched a competency-based training program that aims to improve the technical and managerial skills of employees. The program not only helps employees to adapt to new technologies, but also improves the company's overall productivity and efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of knowledge among UPI students regarding information on light pollution. The research employs a descriptive survey method by distributing questionnaires to 26 respondents, namely students within the UPI campus environment. Based on the students' level of knowledge, it was found that their understanding of light pollution information falls into the "very good" category. The study shows that the majority of UPI students (88.5%) have understood the concept of light pollution, including its causes and impacts on space research and daily life. However, 11.5% of students still lack an understanding of the concept of light pollution, particularly regarding its impacts on daily life and its causes. This research provides important insights into students' knowledge of light pollution. The findings can serve as a basis for increasing students' awareness of the importance of preserving the quality of the night sky and reducing the negative impacts of light pollution.

Abstract

Research on Mutual Legal Assistance (MLA) has been widely conducted in various countries, but for Indonesia, this is a relatively new topic. This article aims to examine MLA from the perspective of law and social contract. The research focuses on methods that can be used to obtain testimony from foreign nationals who act as witnesses. In writing this article, the author employs a normative legal research method with a conceptual and legislative approach. The analytical technique used is literature study The research findings indicate that foreign nationals have the right to refuse to provide testimony in an Indonesian court without any legal consequences. This phenomenon results in a lack of critical evidence in criminal case investigations, specifically witness testimony.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of organizational culture and work discipline through work motivation on employee performance at the Pekalongan City Communication and Information Service. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The population in this study were 62 employees of the Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kota Pekalongan. Sampling in this research used population study techniques or saturated samples, namely all employees. The data collection technique used is by obtaining data obtained from questionnaires. The statistical method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). This research data processing uses SmartPLS software version 4.0. The research results show that (1) organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and job satisfaction; (2) work discipline has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance; (3) organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation; (4) work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation; (5) work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; (6) work motivation is able to mediate the influence of organizational culture on employee performance; and (7) work motivation is able to mediate work discipline on employee performance.
