Abstract

The development of information technology has presented challenges for non-profit organizations such as Youth Ranger Indonesia (YRI) in information dissemination activities, especially for its target audience, namely youth. As an organization that focuses on youth empowerment, YRI requires an effective communication strategy to reach the audience and ensure that the message delivered can be received properly and correctly. This study aims to determine the media and communication strategies used by YRI Public Relations (PR). This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with primary data obtained from in-depth interviews with YRI PR, while secondary data is obtained from literature and YRI social media documentation. The communication strategy described refers to the 4 Step of Public Relations (RACE) theory, namely research, action, communication and evaluation from Cutlip, Center and Broom. The results of the study show that YRI uses digital media such as WhatsApp, Gmail and Instagram. The communication strategy used by YRI is in accordance with the RACE theory, and has been proven to help YRI PR carry out information dissemination activities more effectively. This research is expected to be a reference for YRI Public Relations in developing more effective information dissemination strategies, to strengthen YRI's role in efforts to increase youth potential.

Abstract

This article will discuss the importance of developing cooperatives in rural areas of Indonesia as an effort to improve the people's economy. The facts show that cooperatives can be a forum for rural communities to develop local economic potential and improve welfare. Rural areas in Indonesia have great economic potential, but are often not utilized optimally. The development of cooperatives in rural areas can be a solution to empower communities and encourage community economic growth. Various studies show that cooperatives can be an effective forum for rural communities to develop businesses, increase access to capital, and market local products. Cooperatives also play a role in encouraging innovation and technology adoption in rural areas. This article uses a qualitative approach using case study methods on several cooperatives in rural areas, showing that the development of cooperatives in rural areas can increase community income, encourage business diversification, and strengthen local economic resilience. Ultimately, the development of cooperatives in rural areas of Indonesia is a very important effort to improve the people's economy and community welfare

Abstract

Regulation and restoration of natural resources are important components in supporting the sustainability of the Indonesian economy. This paper discusses environmental policies and restoration efforts implemented by the government, and their impacts on ecosystem maintenance and long-term economic growth. Using a multidisciplinary approach, this paper aims to review studies of forest restoration policies and water resource management that have been implemented in Indonesia, as well as comparisons with other countries. Strong regulation and community-based restoration can increase economic productivity and conserve natural resources (Silvestri, S., & C. F., 2016).). This paper concludes that integrated management of natural resources is needed to achieve a sustainable economy and social welfare of the nation

Abstract

Public participation is a vital aspect of democratic governance, promoting transparency, accountability, and trust between governments and citizens. In Indonesia, public engagement in defense policymaking has been limited, often hindered by bureaucratic rigidity, lack of transparency, and societal perceptions that defense is an elite domain. This study explores the challenges and opportunities for fostering public participation in defense policymaking, focusing on its potential to strengthen trust and enhance policy legitimacy. Using a qualitative approach with secondary data, the research analyzes policy documents, government reports, and scholarly literature to uncover key patterns and insights. The findings highlight significant barriers, such as hierarchical bureaucratic structures, restricted access to information, and a general lack of public connection to defense issues. However, the study also identifies promising opportunities to enhance engagement, including leveraging digital platforms to reach a broader audience, collaborating with civil society and academic institutions, and adopting participatory governance models. Successful examples, such as community-driven disaster preparedness programs and participatory budgeting initiatives, illustrate the potential of inclusive approaches to build trust and improve policy outcomes. The study concludes that meaningful public participation is essential for ensuring defense policies align with societal needs and foster public trust. Addressing structural barriers and institutionalizing participatory mechanisms are key steps toward achieving this goal. These findings contribute to the growing discourse on participatory governance and provide practical recommendations for enhancing collaboration and inclusivity in defense policymaking. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Asta Brata leadership style among elementary school principals in Kediri District, Tabanan Regency. Rooted in Hindu ethical values, the Asta Brata leadership style emphasizes ideal leadership qualities symbolized by elements of nature, such as the sun, fire, sky, and earth. This research employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design to explore principals' experiences in applying these values. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations of several informants. The findings reveal five key themes in Asta Brata leadership: well-being, leadership spirit, role model, and courage. Principals who incorporate these values are able to create an inclusive, harmonious educational environment that motivates all school members. Based on these findings, it is recommended that Asta Brata-based leadership training be implemented to strengthen principals’ leadership quality, enhancing the performance and satisfaction of all educational stakeholders.

Abstract

The rising popularity of TikTok among young audiences has drawn marketers' attention to its potential as a platform for clothing product advertising. However, capturing consumer focus on a single product amidst the vast content on TikTok remains challenging. Additionally, negative perceptions of clothing product value may deter consumers from engaging in buying behavior. This study aims to examine the influence of TikTok social media advertising and electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) on consumer buying behavior, with experiential value serving as a moderating variable. Employing the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) framework, this research adopts a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected from 406 respondents via questionnaires and analyzed using the path analysis method in SmartPLS 3. The findings reveal that TikTok advertising significantly impacts consumer buying behavior, whereas eWOM about clothing products does not directly affect buying behavior. Experiential value moderates and strengthens the relationship between TikTok advertising and eWOM on consumer buying behavior

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak kebijakan tax amnesty terhadap keadilan perpajakan dan modus operandi tindak pidana kerah putih di Indonesia. Tax amnesty, yang diperkenalkan melalui UU No. 11 Tahun 2016, menawarkan penghapusan sanksi bagi wajib pajak yang mengungkapkan harta yang tidak dilaporkan. Namun, kebijakan ini memunculkan kontroversi terkait keadilan bagi wajib pajak yang taat, karena memberikan insentif bagi pengemplang pajak tanpa konsekuensi yang setimpal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menganalisis dokumen dan studi kasus untuk mengidentifikasi pola perilaku pelaku kejahatan kerah putih yang memanfaatkan celah dalam kebijakan ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun tax amnesty bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan pajak, ia juga berpotensi merusak moral pajak dan menciptakan ketidakadilan di kalangan wajib pajak yang patuh.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan digitalisasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan pada sistem perpajakan di Indonesia. Transformasi dari sistem konvensional ke sistem digital, seperti e-filing dan e-billing, tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi pajak tetapi juga memudahkan wajib pajak dalam memenuhi kewajiban pajak mereka. Data menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan e-filing meningkat dari 68,2% pada tahun 2016 menjadi 83,4% pada tahun 2022. Namun, tantangan baru muncul dalam mengelola transaksi digital yang kompleks dan kebutuhan akan kebijakan pajak yang adaptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tantangan dan inovasi dalam transformasi sistem perpajakan di era digital serta merumuskan rekomendasi kebijakan yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan dan efisiensi administrasi pajak. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, studi ini mengidentifikasi bahwa adopsi teknologi seperti big data dan kecerdasan buatan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pengumpulan pajak dan transparansi sekaligus mengatasi kesenjangan pajak digital yang diperkirakan mencapai 5-10% dari potensi pendapatan pajak global.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran penting teknologi keuangan (fintech) dalam pembangunan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia. Perkembangan teknologi digital di Indonesia menunjukkan kemajuan signifikan dengan jumlah pengguna internet mencapai 210 juta pada tahun 2022. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi literatur komprehensif, menganalisis dokumen dan publikasi dari lembaga pemerintah serta riset terkemuka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sektor fintech telah berkontribusi signifikan terhadap ekonomi digital Indonesia dengan nilai transaksi mencapai USD77 miliar pada 2022 dan proyeksi pertumbuhan hingga USD130 miliar pada 2025. Kehadiran lebih dari 2.300 startup, termasuk satu decacorn dan beberapa unicorn, menunjukkan potensi besar industri ini. Meski demikian, masih terdapat tantangan seperti kesenjangan akses digital antara wilayah perkotaan dan pedesaan, dengan 12.548 desa belum terjangkau internet. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengembangan fintech memerlukan kerangka regulasi komprehensif dan kolaborasi antar pemangku kepentingan untuk mendukung inklusi keuangan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi berkelanjutan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pemasaran digital yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan pelanggan di era digital. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi perubahan perilaku konsumen akibat transformasi digital serta bagaimana perusahaan dapat mengoptimalkan setiap tahap dalam customer journey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi seperti kecerdasan buatan dan analitik data sangat penting untuk menciptakan pengalaman pelanggan yang personal dan relevan. Selain itu, integrasi berbagai saluran pemasaran digital menjadi kunci untuk membangun hubungan yang lebih mendalam antara brand dan konsumen, serta meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi strategis bagi pelaku bisnis untuk merancang kampanye pemasaran yang lebih efektif dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan konsumen.
