Abstract

The crossing of a plot between the Railway and the highway on the road Perjuangan often causes problems, especially if the crossing door is closed when the Railway passes. The problem is that queues and vehicle times return to normal shortly after the crossing door is opened on Ir. H. Juanda, Bekasi. This study aims to determine the potential for delays and queues related to the operating time of the crossing door of a plot at the Bekasi Station Crossing. This research uses a quantitative approach using linear regression and vissim software to perform analysis. The results of the analysis and discussion showed a significant influence on the variables of the number of trains passing at the crossing of a plot, delay, and vehicle queue lengths. In addition, the Road Geometry variable affects the length of queues and vehicles’ delays road. Ir. H. Juanda, Bekasi. The results of this study are expected to be used as a consideration in handling traffic management and can minimize the occurrence of traffic congestion

Abstract

A.M. Saefuddin is one of the thinkers from Indonesia who quickly and swiftly responded to the idea of islamization of knowledge, he called it the term islamization of science and campus. So that in 1983, as Chancellor he declared Ibn Khaldun University (UIKA) as a campus that implemented the Islamization of Science and Campus (ISK). However, a study of the thoughts of A.M. Saefuddin related to ISK is rarely found in various journal articles. For this reason, this article will examine the idea of Islamization of science and campus from the perspective of A.M. Saefuddin. Based on library research with a descriptive analysis approach, it can be concluded, first, the idea of A.M. Saefuddin’s ISK was motivated by the dominance of secular Western science. Secondly, the concept of ISK which was initiated includes the steps of Islamization and the paradigm of unity in tawhid. Third, the implementation of ISK on campus is manifested by what he calls a blue campus, which is a campus that integrates science and technology as its application with religious values. Fourth, although A.M. Saefuddin seems to want to integrate the concept of islamization of knowledge al-Attas and al-Faruqi, but ISK is still relatively abstract and less systematic, because many things have not been explained in more depth and detail.

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the US-China trade war and its impact on the trade balance of the two countries and the global economy. The two countries’ trade war occurred in 2018 when the US imposed tariffs on imports to China. This article adopts qualitative descriptive research. Mercantilism theory and the concept of trade wars were also used to analyze the topic. This study found that the triggers for the trade war by Donald Trump against China were influenced by three factors: 1) a trade deficit experienced by the US; 2) the allegations of manipulating the dollar made by China, making the Yuan the main currency; 3) the allegations of US intellectual rights theft by China. This trade war also impacted the trade balance of the two countries, where China experienced a significant surplus while the United States experienced a deficit. Nonetheless, the United States still ranks first as a country with the world's highest Gross Domestic Product (PBD). The US-China trade war has also weakened global economic growth. This cannot be avoided because the US and China are economic superpowers that play a pivotal role in world trade, so actions taken in the context of a trade war will undoubtedly have an impact on other countries or regions

Abstract

Science and technology show a trend that continues to develop. This has an impact on tools such as defense equipment produced or owned by a country to be more sophisticated. A country must have a defense system that can protectthe entire terriroty of the country, one of which is its airspace. Violations in the airspace often occur because the defense system is still weak. One of the tools that play a role in conducting surveillance for airspace is Radar. Currently, Indonesia still has several blank spot areas that are not detected by Radar. This needs to be solverd by placing Radar in some areas that cannot be detected or blank spot areas using a geographic information system (GIS). GIS is one of the platforms used in mapping without having to survey the location directly.

Abstract

This study aims to identify factors that influence KRL Users to choose the advanced mode of transportation used to reach their final destination. The method used in this study is quantitative and multinomial logistic regression. Calculations with multinomial logistic regression, in general, show slightly different results. In addition, trans-Jakarta public transportation modes tend to be more attractive to KRL users at Juanda Station for advanced modes of transportation. Some recommendations for determining continued travel with criteria for time, convenience, and cost, including 1) Pedestrians need to improve their comfort variables, so it is necessary to build better pedestrian paths. 2) Online motorcycle taxis need to build shelters/places to get on and off passengers in the Juanda station area to make it easier for users to use the online motorcycle taxi mode. 3) Transjakarta buses need to sterilize the Transjakarta route, considering the dense traffic on the road to the station, so there are no delays and queues on trans Jakarta buses. 4) Further studies need to be carried out on the other railway stations and need to be studied in more detail by paying attention to the variable level of service yang others.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Current Ratio (CR), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), and company size on stock prices with the Net Profile Margin Ratio (NPM) as an intervening variable in the Kompas100 company. listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. In addition, this study also aims to determine and analyze the ability of the Net Profile Margin Ratio (NPM) in moderating the relationship between Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Current Ratio (CR), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), and company size to stock prices in Kompas100 company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. The population in this study is the Kompas100 company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. The sampling technique in this study is to use the Non-Probability Sampling approach with the Purposive Sampling method. The population in this study amounted to 167 companies. From the results of the sample selection obtained as many as 33 companies. The data testing method used is a two-stage approach which consists of the outer model test, feasibility test and inner model test using the SmartPLS version 3.2.9 program. The results of testing the first hypothesis show that the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) have an effect on the Net Profit Margin Ratio (NPM). While the Current Ratio (CR) and company size have no effect on the Net Profit Margin Ratio (NPM). Total Asset Turnover (TATO) and company size have an effect on stock prices. Meanwhile, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Current Ratio (CR), and Net Profit Margin Ratio (NPM) have no effect on stock prices. The results of the second hypothesis testing show that the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Current Ratio (CR), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), and company size have no effect on stock prices with the Net Profit Margin Ratio (NPM) as an intervening variable in the Kompas100 company which listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2020. The results of testing the third hypothesis show that the Net Profit Margin Ratio (NPM) is not able to moderate the relationship between Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Current Ratio (CR), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), and company size to stock prices at Kompas100 companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2016-2020 period.

Abstract

Road lighting is one of the main things needed by road users to improve safety when driving at night. However, frequently road lights that meet the standards are only on large-scale roads. On the other hand, in general, road users in Majalengka tend to use high speeds. Based on this, this study aims to analyze the impact of lighting on the safety of road users in Jalan Majalengka-Rajagaluh. The research method used in this study is a perceptual analysis method. The results show an average value of road lighting importance is 9.47, the average satisfaction is 6.12, and the average gap is -3.35. Many variables are in quadrant IV, which indicates that many variables still require more concentration to increase. Therefore, according to road users' perception, road lighting is considered essential in various aspects, but road users still feel it is necessary to improve road lighting performance.

Abstract

The population density in the city of Semarang, which is the impact of the flow of urbanization, is in line with the high demand for transportation. This situation also creates a new problem for the city: traffic jams. Traffic jam occurs because the available road capacity needs to be balanced with the number of vehicles used. In addition, the people of Semarang City tend to use private Transportation rather than public Transportation provided by the city government, namely Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). This research was conducted to analyze the effectiveness of Semarang BRT in meeting the high transportation needs in the city of Semarang. The research results will show aspects of BRT that need to be developed or improved, thereby increasing public interest in choosing to use the public transportation provided. Several indicators of Semarang BRT service quality have been assessed as good, with the highest tariff parameter. This condition illustrates that BRT tariff determination can still provide good service for road users. Meanwhile, the parameters that were considered bad service were disabled facilities and pregnant women.
