Abstract

The increasingly advanced challenges of globalization have an impact on almost all levels of human life, and it is possible that this will quickly hit the world of education, especially the provision of higher education in Indonesia. Globalization in a higher education institution will very rapidly influence a process of forming a new climate for learning and research carried out by a global network which will provide knowledge and information from various universities in the world as a whole. So universities are no longer considered to have a monopoly on knowledge, but in this era universities have to compete with other service providers therefore the quality of higher education institutions must continue to be improved. This research focuses on seeing how the influence of a leader in a higher education institution can improve the quality of education in the institution, where in this research the researcher uses qualitative descriptive methods to solve existing problems.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to see the level of effectiveness of implementing the project based teaching module on the topic of Culinary Basics. The uniqueness of this research lies in the responses of students who use the module. The module content is very interesting and varied so that it can increase student interest and stimulate creativity. Students become interested in reading because usually students only use books that are still rigid. The examples given in the module are very up to date. The method used in this research is a quasi experimental design research method with a control group and a random research sample. Data analysis techniques were carried out qualitatively (input criticism, suggestions) and quantitative (respondent assessments in the form of numbers on the questionnaire and observation sheet provided). The data collection technique used Pretest - Posttest Control Group Design which was analyzed using analysis prerequisite tests through normality tests and inferential statistics through t-tests (independent sample T-tests) to see differences in the average group learning outcomes. The population of this class is 40 people. The samples used were 30 with random sampling. Testing the effectiveness of using project based teaching module products in increasing the creativity of Dwi Tunggal Tourism Vocational School students was carried out using a two-tailed t-test. The tcount = 2.133 while the ttable value = 2.000, this shows that tcount is greater than ttable with a significance level of 0.05. So, the creativity of Dwi Tunggal Tourism Vocational School students who take part in learning using project based teaching modules is higher than the creativity of Dwi Tunggal Tourism Vocational School students who take conventional learning.

Abstract

The gap between expectations and implementation of the curriculum, especially in science subjects, causes the need for a study of its implementation. IPAs in the Merdeka curriculum are expected to be carried out in an integrated manner, integrated between the content of science and social studies. This research is a mixed methods research or a mixture of quantitative and descriptive. The sample of this study were teachers in class IV cluster III, Buleleng District. Data was collected using interview sheets and direct observation of teachers in cluster III, Buleleng District. Data analysis uses descriptive, namely presenting research results based on qualitative data. Based on the literature review, interviews, and also observations that have been made, it can be concluded that the implementation of the independent learning curriculum, especially the science subject in elementary school cluster III, Buleleng sub-district, has been carried out well. It's just that the teacher must further develop his abilities so that he can create innovations in learning. It is hoped that the curriculum teachers will not be replaced continuously, but rather refinement of what already exists. In addition to being equipped with training, teachers should not be burdened with a lot of teaching administration.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Quick on The Draw learning model based on Tri Kaya Parisudha on the Natural Science Learning Outcomes of Students in Class V SD Negeri 13 Sesetan, Denpasar City. This study used a quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The research sample was determined by random sampling technique, in order to obtain 36 students in class VA as the experimental group and 37 students in class VB as the control group. The data collection method uses the test method, with multiple choice tests totaling 30 validated questions. The collected data was normalized using the gain score and then analyzed using the t-test inferential statistics. Based on the results of data analysis, tcount = 5.507 and ttable at a significance level of 5% (α = 0.05) = 1.994. This means tcount > ttable, so that there is a significant difference between groups of students who are taught using the Quick on The Draw learning model based on Tri Kaya Parisudha and groups who are taught using conventional learning. Thus it can be concluded that the Quick on The Draw learning model based on Tri Kaya Parisudha influences the natural science learning outcomes of students in class V SD Negeri 13 Sesetan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of pencak silat sports on the emotions of PGSD students at STAHN Mpu Kuturan Sigaraja. Emotional is a branch of psychology that discusses a person's emotional turmoil in responding to things. These feelings include sadness, happiness, disappointment, fear, worry, and others. Everyone will definitely feel all these feelings, but if it is said that they have an emotional soul, someone is expressing emotions excessively or can be called an emotional mind. Pencak Silat is a sport that uses a person's dexterity, strength and balance against other players. In terms of emotions, students who have activities and a level of mastery that is more than high school or elementary school will experience a very significant spike in adaptation. In the sport of pencak silat, it has a strong enough influence to be able to control a person's mental and emotional state, so that when doing something there is no excessive emotion.

Abstract

This study was conducted to gather sufficient information on the contribution of educators in revitalizing regional languages in the independent learning curriculum. The method used in this study is through a literature study that collects several previous studies and existing policies from the government to answer what is the contribution of educators in revitalizing regional languages in the independent learning curriculum. The results of this study indicate the need for an increase in human resources for educators, especially those who are obliged to equip themselves with their respective regional languages. Educators must reflect a love for the local language before it is transmitted to their students. Educators can also contribute to developing and utilizing cultural wealth to strengthen the nation's character and the welfare of the people by inviting their students to make several projects related to their local culture. In addition, updating learning facilities and infrastructure is needed to accommodate the publication of students' work. The highlight of this activity is a tiered festival at the group level, education unit, to district/city and provincial level.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence of the PQ4R learning model on students' reading comprehension abilities. This research includes quantitative research, research with a meta-analysis approach, namely calculating the average with effect size. First, formulate the research problem, then proceed to explore relevant research. The research sample is 10 publications. The data analysis technique uses publication bias analysis with trim and fill methods with analysis procedures for calculating effect sizes, heterogeneity tests, forest plot analysis and publication bias analysis. The research results with rank correlation were 0.2046 with p-value (0.417) > (0.05), while the regression method was -0.4942 with p-value (0.621) > (0.05), meaning no publication bias was found.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce products from the development of plant material media for elementary/MI students. This research uses research and development methods which use the development model procedure developed by Borg & Gall. In this research, the author limits it to the product development process. The dissemination process and large-scale testing will be written separately in another article. From this development, a product was produced in the form of media that uses the Articulate Storyline 3 application which can combine graphics and animation so it is very suitable for elementary school students. The use of computer-based technology is a way to produce or convey material using technology-based sources, where the information or material presented is stored in digital form. The author is here to provide a solution through the development of media related to plant material that can overcome problems for elementary school students.

Abstract

The learning process by inviting students to play will give students happiness. If students feel happy, it will be easier to provide cool learning material. The existence of an independent curriculum also provides opportunities for teachers and students to always develop innovation in learning activities. This study aims to find out the application of the Discovery learning model assisted by snakesladders media in order to improve the learning outcomes of class IVB students at Elemntary School Number 1 Penatih. This study consists of two cycles, which is each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, action, observation/evaluation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 32 students of grade IVB Elementary School Number 1 Penatih. The object of this study is the result of the learning in topic 3. The method in collecting the data in this study is the test method of learning outcomes. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the average percentage of learning outcomes in topic 3 reaches 40% and classical completeness reaches 40%. After applying the Discovery learning model assisted by snakesladders media in cycle I, the average percentage of learning outcomes reached 65%, and classical completeness reached 65%. With the improvement in cycle II, the average percentage of students' Topic 2 learning outcomes increased to 90% and classical completeness reached 90%. This research will have implications for increasing activities and learning outcomes in class IVB SD Negeri 1 Penatih. Apart from that, it will also have a positive impact, namely the development of learning innovations, one of which is using snake and ladder media.

Abstract

This research will be able to describe differences in student learning outcomes as demonstrated by determining differences in student learning outcomes as demonstrated by the use of learning styles supported by the cag-cag game learning style supported by CRH (Course Review Hooray). This review is a semi-basic assessment with a quantitative experimental approach. In this study, the population was all students in grades IV and VI in Negara District, Jembrana Regency, totaling 215 students. The set of steps used in this research is a semi-analytic framework. Judging from the results obtained, the model in this assessment is class 4 students at SDN 4 Berangbang for the control class and SDN 5 Berangbang as the experimental class. The exploratory strategy in this review relates to information from interviews, different decision tests and documentation. Considering the measurable examination results of autonomous tests and applicable past research, as well as the depiction of hypotheses, experts reasoned that it shows that the science learning outcomes of students who concentrate by implementing Cag Game-Assisted cooperative learning with the Course Review Horay (CRH) model. then it was further developed by students who obtained results from implementing the regular learning model in Class IV Group VI of the State Yudistira Region of Jembrana Regency.
