Abstract

Digital transformation drives companies to continuously develop human resource (HR) competencies to remain relevant and competitive. One of the main challenges is ensuring that technology-based learning systems, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), are truly effective in supporting employee competency development. This study aims to analyze the impact of the use of the TAMARA LMS at PT IDStar Cipta Teknologi on improving HR competencies and formulate improvement strategies based on the evaluation of the Technology Acceptance Model 2 (TAM2). The approach used is a mixed methods approach, with quantitative analysis using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique, and qualitative analysis through in-depth interviews. The results indicate that Perceived Ease of Use and Attitude Toward Using have a significant effect on Actual Usage, while several external constructs in TAM2, such as Job Relevance and Result Demonstrability, do not show a strong influence on Perceived Usefulness. Qualitative findings support the contribution of LMS to improving soft skills and digital skills, but also highlight challenges such as the lack of regular evaluation, limited content, and minimal managerial support. A synthesis of the two approaches concludes that the TAM2 model remains relevant but needs to be refined to suit the organizational context. This study provides strategic recommendations for optimizing the role of the LMS as an effective and sustainable HR development tool.

Abstract

The Fourth Industrial Revolution has driven the transformation of vocational education systems to meet the demands of a digital, technology-based workforce and 21st-century competencies. This study aims to analyze how the transformation of vocational education management in Indonesia can achieve an effective link and match with Industry 4.0. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach through case studies in selected vocational institutions. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the main challenges include non-adaptive curricula, limited digital infrastructure, and low teacher capacity in industrial technologies. However, industry-based learning models such as teaching factories, hybrid training programs, and the application of digital technologies like Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have proven effective in improving graduates’ job readiness. A case study at SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo illustrates that pentahelix collaboration involving schools, industries, local governments, higher education institutions, and communities can foster a responsive and innovative vocational education ecosystem. The implications of this study highlight the urgency of managerial reform, strengthening strategic partnerships, and embracing digitalization in vocational education to produce graduates who are both relevant and competitive in the Industry 4.0 era.

Abstract

The Cimeta River, located in West Bandung Regency, plays a vital role in the region’s hydrological system and supports the local community. However, the area is frequently affected by flooding caused by heavy rainfall, unplanned land use changes, and insufficient drainage capacity. This study aims to identify flood-prone critical points along the Cimeta River and analyze the contributing factors. A quantitative descriptive approach was applied using hydrological modeling with HEC-HMS and hydraulic analysis with HEC-RAS. Rainfall data from the past 15 years were used to estimate design flood discharges, which were then simulated to assess the river’s capacity. The results indicate that the peak discharge for a 50-year return period (Q50) is 155 m³/s, which exceeds the current river channel capacity and poses a risk of flooding in several river segments. The study recommends river normalization through dredging, channel widening, and bank reinforcement to reduce future flood risks. These findings are expected to support more effective and sustainable flood mitigation policies.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 2019 spread rapidly throughout the world until WHO declared Covid-19 as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) on January 30, 2020. Covid-19 can spread through droplets of respiratory secretions from people infected with Covid-19, and the droplets remain infectious when floating in the air. Therefore, the use of masks as one of the preventive measures against Covid-19 is very important. This research aimed to determine and understand the relationship between knowledge and attitudes toward compliance with the use of masks in SMA Negeri 3 Cibinong students for the prevention of Covid-19. This research was an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional research design and a sample of 168 people. Primary data collection was conducted using a questionnaire. Data processing was conducted using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis with data analysis using the chi-square test. Data obtained from 147 students (87.5%) indicated high knowledge of mask use in preventing COVID-19, 148 students (88.1%) demonstrated an attitude supporting mask use in preventing COVID-19, and 122 students (72.6%) consistently used masks as a preventive measure against COVID-19. Statistically, there was a relationship between knowledge and adherence to the use of masks in the prevention of Covid-19 with a p-value of 0.001 and there was a relationship between attitudes toward compliance with the use of masks as prevention of Covid-19 with a p-value of 0.000. Attitude is the most influential variable in compliance with mask use for the prevention of Covid-19.

Abstract

The education system in Yala, a conflict-sensitive and multicultural province in Southern Thailand, faces persistent challenges shaped by sociopolitical instability, cultural diversity, and governance constraints. This study investigates the perceptions of teachers, community leaders, and local officials regarding public management practices and their influence on educational improvement in Yala. Using a qualitative approach grounded in Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR), data were collected through nine semi-structured individual interviews and two focus group discussions (FGDs), each involving three participants. Thematic analysis revealed four major insights: (1) a persistent disconnect between national education policies and local realities; (2) uneven access to teacher professional development due to geographic, cultural, and security barriers; (3) the underutilized potential of religious and cultural institutions in education governance; and (4) a trust gap between the community and central authorities that undermines participatory governance. These findings underscore the need for culturally inclusive, decentralized, and conflict-sensitive public management strategies. The study contributes both theoretically and practically by offering locally grounded insights for policymakers, educators, and scholars seeking to improve education systems in post-conflict, multicultural settings.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of project management on machine operational readiness at PT Gallaria Prospera Eterna (PT GPE). Five variables were examined: integration management, time management, cost management, quality management, and resource management. Previous issues, such as project delays and cost overruns, prompted the need for an evaluation of the project management system. A quantitative method was employed, utilizing the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. The results indicated that integration management (? = 0.245), time management (? = 0.235), and resource management (? = 0.232) had a significant effect on machine operational readiness. Time and resource management also exhibited positive quadratic effects (QE = 0.170 and QE = 0.181), while cost management had a negative quadratic effect (QE = –0.309). Quality management was found to be statistically insignificant. The R² value of 0.689 and Q² value of 0.567 indicate that the model has strong explanatory and predictive power. The implementation of strategies based on these findings—such as establishing a Project Management Office (PMO), digitalizing project tracking, and strengthening human resources—has successfully improved the execution of the second-phase fermenter machine procurement project, delivering it on time, within budget, and fully operational.

Abstract

Malnutrition is a common problem found in hospitals and has a serious impact on the patient's healing process, which can increase morbidity and mortality rates, contributing to prolonged length of stay and increased treatment costs. Therefore, nutritional support is needed to prevent malnutrition and further complications, such as nutrition containing the polyunsaturated omega 3 fatty acids, known as docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). These fatty acids have anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, and antioxidant effects that have the potential to increase immunity and repair damaged tissue and help to maintain muscle mass and strength. The purpose of this literature study is to evaluate the effect of providing nutrition containing omega-3, both enterally and parenterally, on the healing process of patients with critical illness. The design in this study is a literature review of research sources using Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) and cohorts. From the results of this literature study, it can be concluded that nutrition containing omega 3 has an effect on accelerating the healing of patients with critical illnesses and reducing the risk of complications, thereby shortening the length of stay in the ICU.

Abstract

In today's dynamic and competitive business environment, innovation is a key driver of organizational success. Companies must leverage their human capital to foster creativity and adaptability, particularly in response to rapid technological advancements. However, many organizations face challenges in cultivating innovation work behavior (IWB) among employees, often due to a lack of supportive leadership or intrinsic motivation. This research aims to examine the influence of inclusive leadership and intrinsic motivation on innovation work behavior, mediated by creative self-efficacy, at PT Global Humanity Innovation (GHI). Using a quantitative research method, data were collected through a census survey involving all 61 employees across various divisions. The analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS. The results indicate that both inclusive leadership and intrinsic motivation have a significant positive effect on innovation work behavior. Furthermore, creative self-efficacy significantly mediates the relationship between inclusive leadership and innovation work behavior, as well as between intrinsic motivation and innovation behavior. The study highlights the importance of psychological and leadership-related factors in enhancing employee innovation at GHI. These findings provide practical implications for improving organizational strategies and nurturing a work environment that supports creativity and innovation through leadership inclusiveness and the internal motivation of employees.

Abstract

The provision of community-based drinking water and sanitation is a program aimed at addressing sanitation problems. This study evaluates the performance of clean water services and management through the PAMSIMAS III Program in Aceh Jaya Regency from 2017 to 2023. Using qualitative methods, secondary data from the PAMSIMAS website, and primary data from village heads, communities, and the PAMSIMAS III team were analyzed descriptively. The research was conducted in selected villages of Aceh Jaya, chosen as recipients of the PAMSIMAS III program, to increase public awareness of drinking water provision. The evaluation criteria effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, and responsiveness show that the PAMSIMAS III program has been successfully implemented but not optimally. Key challenges include limited human resource quality, under-functioning institutions, and poor communication and coordination. For rural communities receiving PAMSIMAS III assistance, socialization on healthy lifestyles and environmental care is necessary. Implementing institutions are encouraged to establish a dedicated forum to improve inter-agency coordination. Local government policies and strategies should focus on attracting investors to support the development and management of drinking water, sanitation, and environmental sustainability in Aceh Jaya Regency. Finally, strengthening the commitment and consistency of village officials and communities in managing clean water facilities is essential to ensure long-term access to clean water.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children due to chronic malnutrition from the age of 0–59 months, which is marked by a nutritional status index (PB/U) or (TB/U) with a Z-Score of less than -2 SD, which results in a child's height not being according to his age. The working area of the Kilasah Health Center has been the LOKUS (Focus Location) of stunting until now because it still contributes to a fairly high number of cases. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of stunting in children aged 0–59 months in the work area of the Kilasah Health Center, Serang City, in 2023. The method used is an observational study with a case-control approach. The instruments used were questionnaires and observation sheets. The research sample consisted of two groups, namely the case group of 44 respondents and the control group of 44 respondents, which were taken by the purposive sampling technique. The results of the univariate test in the stunting toddler group showed that the mothers had poor knowledge of 84.1%, 88.6% did not exclusively breastfeed, 36.4% did not have healthy latrines, and 93.2% did not have clean water facilities that met the requirements. Bivariate analysis using Chi Square obtained the results that mother's knowledge (Pv = 0.000), exclusive breastfeeding (Pv = 0.000), healthy latrines (PV = 0.000), and clean water facilities (Pv = 0.0013) have a significant relationship with the incidence of stunting in children aged 0-59 months. The suggestion from this research is that it is necessary to increase counseling with booklets/flip sheet regarding stunting and the importance of nutritious food for toddlers.
