Abstract

Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) is an essential component of modern supply chain management because it affects raw material availability, product quality, production continuity, and operational sustainability. The complexity of supplier evaluation requires a multi-criteria decision-making approach that accommodates interrelationships among influencing factors. This study aimed to identify supplier performance evaluation criteria, determine criterion priority weights using the Best-Worst Method (BWM), analyze interdependencies among criteria using the Analytic Network Process (ANP), and formulate an integrated BWM–ANP supplier performance evaluation model within the SRM framework at PT XYZ. This quantitative study employed surveys, observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation in PT XYZ’s Purchasing Department from July to October 2025. Primary data were obtained from procurement experts, while secondary data were derived from internal company documents. SRM indicators were identified through a literature review and expert judgment, with data processed using Super Decisions® software. The results produced an integrated supplier performance evaluation model comprising five main criteria: quality, price, delivery accuracy, lead time, and supplier risk. The final weights showed that quality was the most dominant criterion (0.5185), followed by delivery accuracy (0.2182), price (0.1241), lead time (0.1021), and supplier risk (0.0370). The model provides a basis for supplier evaluation and clustering, supporting more objective, structured, and comprehensive supplier management decisions. The study also contributes to the development of Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM)-based supplier evaluation models and offers practical implications for strengthening SRM strategies at PT XYZ.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a warehouse performance measurement framework and measure the performance of PT X’s warehouse using the Warehouse Key Performance Indicators (WKPI) model, as the warehouse previously lacked a structured performance measurement system. A screening process was conducted on 41 WKPI indicators, resulting in 10 indicators that were considered relevant to the warehouse operations. The indicators were weighted using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), while warehouse performance was measured using the Snorm De Boer Scoring System. Furthermore, the Traffic Light System (TLS) was employed to classify the level of performance achievement. The results indicate that the quality dimension obtained the highest weight among all dimensions. The performance measurement generated an average warehouse performance score of 85.71%, indicating that the overall performance of PT X’s warehouse was satisfactory. However, the TLS analysis revealed that order picking time and order lead time remained in the red category, indicating the need for performance improvement. Therefore, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) was conducted to identify the underlying causes of the performance gaps and to formulate improvement recommendations. The proposed improvements are expected to enhance the operational performance of the warehouse.

Abstract

This research examined the effect of teachers’ social competence on Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning achievement, mediated by student engagement, with digital technology use as a moderating variable in the relationship between social competence and achievement. A quantitative explanatory survey design was applied to 100 students at SMP YPVDP Bontang, selected through a census (total sampling) approach. Data were collected using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4, employing a two-stage approach for testing the interaction term and bootstrapping with 5,000 subsamples. The results revealed that teachers’ social competence significantly enhanced student engagement, which subsequently improved IRE achievement. However, the direct effect of social competence on IRE achievement was not significant; instead, its influence operated fully through student engagement, indicating that effective teacher–student social interactions must first foster engagement to generate improved academic outcomes. Furthermore, digital technology use did not significantly moderate this relationship, suggesting that technology alone cannot replace the pedagogical and relational quality of teacher–student interactions. The model explained a substantial proportion of the variance in both student engagement and IRE achievement. These findings highlighted that IRE achievement was primarily influenced by teachers’ ability to establish meaningful social relationships that encourage student engagement rather than by the mere availability or intensity of digital technology use. This study contributed a mediation–moderation model of teachers’ social competence and IRE achievement, providing implications for teacher development and digital technology integration strategies.

Abstract

The Operational Feasibility Certificate (Sertifikat Laik Operasi/SLO) is a mandatory document required by Indonesian regulations before a new or renovated electrical installation can be connected to the PLN distribution network. This research presents a feasibility assessment of a single-phase (1-phase, 220V/50Hz) electrical installation against the requirements of PUIL 2011 (Persyaratan Umum Instalasi Listrik) and applicable Ministerial Regulations. The assessment covered three aspects: load calculation adequacy, wiring and cable sizing compliance, and protective device and grounding system performance. A total of 50 inspection items were evaluated. Results indicate that 68% of items were fully compliant, while 22% showed minor non-conformances and 10% showed major non-conformances requiring rectification prior to SLO issuance. The dominant non-conformance categories were inadequate grounding resistance and undersized branch circuit conductors. Corrective actions are proposed to bring the installation into full compliance. This study provides a systematic approach for pre-inspection feasibility assessment applicable to similar residential and small commercial single-phase installations.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify and analyze the impact of profitability, capital intensity, and inventory intensity on tax avoidance. The research focuses on firms in the energy and minerals sector on the LQ45 share index for the period 2021-2025. This is quantitative study using secondary data, is annual financial statements published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research sample of 6 firms in the energy and minerals sector listed on the LQ45 share index over a five-year period, resulting in a representative sample of 30. Profitability does not have a significant impact on tax avoidance, which mean firms that make a profit will use that profit to meet their tax liabilities. Capital intensity does not have a significant impact on tax avoidance, which mean firms investments in fixed assets are made in accordance with their operational needs. Inventory intensity does not have significant impact on tax avoidance, which mean firms only use the additional costs associated with inventory to determine the cost of goods sold. This research provides empirical evidence on tax avoidance determinants in the Indonesian energy and minerals sector during the post-tax reform period (2021-2025), offering insights for policymakers and practitioners.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the legal status of employment relationships and the protection policies provided to workers with disabilities in two micro and small food and beverage (F&B) enterprises, namely Cafe X in Jakarta and Cafe Y in Bandung. The research focused on examining the validity requirements of employment agreements, the types of employment relationships established, and the protection of wages, working hours, and rest periods. This study employed an exploratory qualitative method, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and reviews of relevant regulations and academic publications. The findings revealed that workers with intellectual disabilities at Cafe X were employed as part-time workers, with employment agreements represented by their parents in accordance with their legal right to appoint representatives. Although part-time employment arrangements are not specifically regulated under Indonesian labor law, the protections provided were aligned with the provisions applicable to fixed-term employment agreements (Perjanjian Kerja Waktu Tertentu or PKWT). At Cafe Y, workers with visual impairments were employed under PKWT arrangements and signed their employment agreements independently because they were legally competent under civil law. Wage protection at Cafe X exceeded the minimum hourly wage requirements, while wages at Cafe Y did not meet the regional minimum wage but remained compliant with micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) provisions under Government Regulation No. 36/2021. Both companies complied with statutory provisions regarding working hours and rest periods and provided reasonable accommodations tailored to workers’ disability characteristics. This research highlighted the importance of adapting employment procedures for workers with disabilities and emphasized the need for clearer regulations governing part-time employment arrangements to address existing normative gaps.

Abstract

The fluctuation of Solid-State Drive (SSD) prices, influenced by market demand, NAND Flash availability, technological developments, and the increasing need for storage in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data centers, has become a challenge in determining purchasing timing and sales strategies. Accurate price prediction is required to assist consumers and business actors in making better decisions. This study aims to compare the performance of three time series forecasting models, namely ARIMA, Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), and Holt-Winters Exponential Smoothing, in predicting the daily prices of 512 GB NVMe SSDs. The data used in this study consist of historical SSD price data collected from Shopee, Tokopedia, and eBay during the period of December 2025 to May 2026, which were converted into USD for consistency. The research process includes data collection, preprocessing, implementation of the three models, and performance evaluation using RMSE, MAE, and MAPE metrics. The results show that the LSTM model achieved the best performance with a MAPE value of 8.10%, compared to ARIMA at 10.88% and Holt-Winters at 11.87%. These findings indicate that LSTM is more effective in capturing complex and fluctuating data patterns, making it more optimal for SSD price prediction.

Abstract

This article reassessed the relevance of actor-specific theory in explaining David Cameron’s stance toward Brexit a decade after the 2016 Brexit referendum. Drawing upon the author’s previous study on David Cameron’s role in the Brexit referendum and recent scholarly debates on Brexit, this article evaluated whether the explanatory power of actor-specific theory remained valid in light of post-Brexit political developments and contemporary literature. Employing a qualitative reassessment approach, the study compared the findings of the earlier research with academic works published during the post-Brexit period. The analysis demonstrated that actor-specific theory continued to provide a useful framework for understanding Cameron’s support for the Remain campaign through the dimensions of motivation, emotion, and problem representation. However, the findings also indicated that Brexit could not be fully explained through individual-level analysis alone. Factors such as internal divisions within the Conservative Party, the rise of Euroscepticism, electoral pressures from the UK Independence Party (UKIP), and the development of Leave and Remain political identities played significant roles in shaping the referendum outcome. This article argued that while actor-specific theory remained relevant for explaining Cameron’s political preferences, its explanatory capacity was partial and required integration with structural, institutional, and identity-based approaches. The study contributed to Foreign Policy Analysis (FPA) by reassessing individual-level explanations within the context of long-term political developments following Brexit.

Abstract

Overweight and obesity in adolescents are health problems that continue to increase and are influenced by various factors, including fast food consumption patterns and physical activity. This study aims to analyze the relationship between fast food consumption patterns and physical activity on overweight and obesity in adolescents at State Senior High School 22 Jakarta. The research used an analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample amounted to 128 students in grades X and XI who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through BMI measurements, Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) questionnaires to measure fast food consumption patterns, and Physical Activity Questionnaire for Adolescents (PAQ-A) to measure physical activity. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson Chi-Square test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that most of the respondents were in the overweight category (40.6%), had a fast food consumption pattern in the rare category (<3 times/week) of 68.8%, and physical activity in the medium category of 39.1%. The results of the bivariate test showed that there was a significant relationship between fast food consumption patterns and overweight and obesity (p<0.001), and there was a significant relationship between physical activity and overweight and obesity (p=0.003). The study concluded that the more frequent the consumption of fast food and the lower the physical activity, the higher the risk of overweight and obesity in adolescents. Therefore, promotive and preventive efforts are needed through nutrition education and increased physical activity in the school environment to prevent obesity in adolescents.

Abstract

The increasing global demand for nickel, driven by the rapid expansion of electric vehicle battery production and the clean energy transition, has intensified the need for highly efficient mining operations. Overburden removal represents a critical stage in nickel mining because its productivity directly affects ore extraction continuity and overall operational performance. However, PT X, a nickel mining contractor in Southeast Sulawesi, has consistently failed to achieve its overburden productivity target of 280 BCM/hour, resulting in increased operational costs and substantial financial losses. This study aimed to improve productivity and operational efficiency in overburden removal by integrating the Lean Six Sigma approach with the DMAIC framework, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). A mixed-method case study approach was employed using operational data collected from January 2024 to July 2025, supplemented by field observations and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). The findings showed that 51.4% of total productivity losses were attributed to controllable delays. FMEA identified Repair Front (RPN = 400), Repair Disposal/Dumping Point (RPN = 200), and Road Maintenance (RPN = 144) as the highest-priority risks, while FTA traced these failures to deficiencies in operational supervision, equipment availability, quarry material supply, and geotechnical conditions. Improvement strategies developed through FGDs included optimizing equipment allocation, strengthening preventive maintenance practices, improving drainage systems, enhancing supervisory procedures, and reinforcing cross-functional coordination. Economic evaluation indicated that the proposed mitigation strategies were feasible, producing a Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR) of 1.53. The integration of Lean Six Sigma, FMEA, and FTA provided a systematic and sustainable framework for reducing operational waste, minimizing process variation, and improving productivity in nickel mining operations.
